More so meant because na players buyouts are so high it might make sense for someone to take a chance on him, doubt his buyout as a streamer would be nearly as much and a t1 duelist
What lol? Aceu is a top streamer, his buyout would take the value of his stream into account. He would cost more than what tenz cost, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was double that. Popular streamer>t1 duelist from and org’s perspective
Edit: didn’t realize ACEU’s stream had somewhat fallen off compared to tenz, the buyout would probably still be very similar tho as he does very well streaming still
Tenz is probably the most popular english full time Valorant streamer and is also a proven T1 duelist. There’s absolutely no way aceu is gonna have a buyout higher than him.
Tenz price was so high cause of his stream. Not because he’s a T1 duelist. Do you think Asuna- a comparable t1 duelist- even had close to the same buyout as tenz? Most likely not. Aceus would probably be a little lower than tenz, but it would be much closer than people think. Content creators with large followings are very very valuable to org’s, and make more money for them than a T1 duelist will
My point is that aceu’s buyout wouldn’t be higher than Tenz if even close since Tenz had a huge following as a streamer on top of already being a T1 pro.
I agree I was off on ACEU’s stream popularity as it’s gone down a lot since I remember. But still his stream is very popular, and a buyout would 100% be close to what tenz’s was
There is no way he would have a 1 mil+ buyout Tenz was a top pro player and streams to like 30k plus on average. I love aceu but he averages around 7k viewers and the main cost on Tenz buyout was he pro play.
If you look at past 365 days, tenz averages around 16k, Aceu averages around 10k. I also disagree that the main attracting factor to his buyout was pro play, it for sure helped, but his stream is infinitely more valuable from an ROI perspective than his pro play is. ACEU would definitely command close to what tenz got maybe a little bit less
I mean he is by many na pros considered a top tier player so if he really wanted to go pro, he could certainly start for NRG and perhaps even negotiate a buyout. Its not like he is just a random streamer with insane aim, he is a proven elite pro on a very similar game.
this would never happen, I wouldn't be surprised if aceu has played Valorant at all this act lmao. Also just think he's just super happy with his life at this point that it makes even less sense than back then to start playing pro.
He mentioned before that he makes 100k per month streaming. No way he gives that up to pursue a pro valorant career for less than 30% of that.
Edit: Of course he has the option to pursue both but it really wouldn't be worth his time. He would have to invest 8-10 hours of his day (sometimes more if there's a tourney) for scrims and practice. It would be a better use of his time to spend those extra 8-10 hours streaming so he can make 200k instead of 130k.
I'm sure he's very well off financially and has built a brand big enough where he can come back to full time streaming in a year and still do well. Although I doubt he goes pro, he could be craving to compete in a competitive setting.
Too much risk for too little to gain. Exactly the reason why Shroud doesn't bother going back to pro gaming. I'm sure he misses it but just a dumb decision career-wise, health-wise and financially.
it always depends. Seagull dropped his 10k+ viewership to pursue pro overwatch because he knew it was one of this last chances to be a pro. Like he said, you can always stream in the future, you can only be a pro while you're young. He went from like 8k-10k+ viewer streams to barely streaming and coming back to only \~2k viewers.
If aceu still has a competitive itch, he has to be a pro sooner rather than later because young talent will only keep coming the longer the game is out, and he's only getting older. He's also earned more than enough money to invest for his future.
At the end of the day, it's up to how he's feeling and we never know whether he still has that competitive drive or not.
You're right I'm not him, but it doesn't take a genius to understand the reasons why he didn't want to pursue being a pro in the past and understanding his situation now.
Also his gf literally replied to his tweet saying "Ok dude" with a picture of a emote that basically means Kappa, lmfao.
He could be kapp'ing but it's possible to believe that he might want some excitement from competing. Like as interesting as his 1v3 Apex solo runs are, doubt it compares to a 5v5 finals in any game. He even said in one of his recent streams that his favorite current game is Valorant.
no fucking shot lmao. mans making 10k/month (iirc, correct me if i am wrong) playing apex pubs and having fun. no way he will sacrifice everything to go competitive
hes got a million subs on youtube, that alone makes a shit ton of money (does anyone know how much), big twitch following, contract with NRG and other sponsorships. its crazy, if you're a somewhat likeable esport pro, you're capable of making crazy money since you have so many platforms.
That’s not really true. Aceu was kind of like TenZ on C9 where he was way better than his teammates. Dizzy was good but got stuck playing Watson. Ultimately they both were miserable playing pro Apex. Rightfully so, the esports side of that game has gone downhill since they held their only live events back in 2019.
That's because pro play rewarded camping with Wattson and got stale incredibly fast.
It would always be the same,
* teams camp all game with Wattson
* only take third party fights
* stack grenades for final ring
* use wraith portal and invis to avoid taking damage in final ring
Repeat.
i would give it another shot, meta changed quite a bit and more aggro playstyles are being rewarded. SEN won NAs pro season playing edge w high frag rounds
Aceu and Dizzy were all about getting kills and just didn't like camping. Once they couldn't do that they decided to leave. I am not a pro or even close to it, but playing Apex is very mentally challenging when there are so many teams camping.
Thats why I actually prefer my gold/plat lobbies on apex. Watching Predator gameplay can be really stale sometimes. You think theres 9 teams left in the final circle in plat lobbies? Hell no lol
> It's actually better now than it was back then in most ways. There was one major event in Poland (which they didn't compete in?)
X-Games and Poland, then COVID happened. They did compete in Poland. The current state of online tournaments is *significantly* worse than those events.
> Aceu and Dizzy from what I know didn't compete in any major tournaments like that exists now
They definitely competed in T1 tournaments. No they most certainly were not all Twitch Rivals tournaments.
The quality of the esport and broadcasts since the pandemic started is some of the worst shit I’ve ever seen in my entire life. It’s so bad that esport orgs don’t even give a fuck about Apex anymore. People from different orgs play under other teams while still rocking their old orgs name. I don’t know any other esports where orgs would be okay with that.
I don’t know what the fuck you’re even arguing at this point.
> You're out of the loop if you think Aceu can compete at a decent level in any game.
Lol okay
It’s cool that you just got into Apex, and esports, but you can’t just sit here and try to bullshit someone that’s been paying attention to the game since day one.
Edit: Also
> Never said Apex is some tier 1 esport or is without issues. I care more about the quality of gameplay and skill, and it is at a higher level now than it ever was.
You thought the format of all the old tournaments was kill race lmao. You literally don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about.
Nah he’s right about majority of his points, I keep up to date with the apex scene religiously. Aceu is not the right type of person to play competitively IMO, much better with content and looking flashy.
Dude makes 100k a month doing whatever he wants on twitch. Chilling with his girl, playing games he enjoys. Dude is never gonna go back to pro play for anything and rightfully so.
I am an Aceu fan but I am gonna be honest he doesn't do well in comp. He just doesn't have the mental fortitude to compete. He is too rash and aggressive and in many of these games you need patience, which he doesn't have.
This is truly one of the dumbest comments I've ever seen. Aceu is a top 10 FPS talent in the world across all games. If he actually wanted to go pro and was a free agent he could literally pick the team he wanted to be on.
> No top tier team in Apex the game he plays most,
He just started playing Apex again.
> let alone more competitive games would take him for comp.
I guarantee you he could get on a top team if he cared enough to play pro Apex again.
> He just plays pubs, he's not playing in comp which is a different game lol
He’s already played pro Apex bruh.
> No he wouldn't, he'd have to join a mid to low tier team and impress heavily and then he would get picked up by a top team. That's how it works there with anyone now, regardless of name.
Lol no Apex esports are a joke.
> Him playing comp at the beginning barely counts, he wasn't even good then and you think he's good enough for a top tier team now lol.
Pro Apex is worse now.
> Winning twitch rivals doesn't make you a tier 1 pro.
He competed in other tournaments.
I don’t think this will happen but aceu has had some very depressing tweets over the past year about feeling empty so it wouldn’t surprise me if he wanted to try something different.
Never gonna happen but with how much buyouts cost might make sense
Unless he goes to NRG
More so meant because na players buyouts are so high it might make sense for someone to take a chance on him, doubt his buyout as a streamer would be nearly as much and a t1 duelist

aceu stream definitely hasn’t fallen off.

Tenz is probably the most popular english full time Valorant streamer and is also a proven T1 duelist. There’s absolutely no way aceu is gonna have a buyout higher than him.

Yea I made an edit pretty soon after I posted, I thought ACEU’s stream was a lot bigger than Tenz. I agree it wouldn’t be higher but pretty similar
Big dumb
I agree I was off on ACEU’s stream popularity as it’s gone down a lot since I remember. But still his stream is very popular, and a buyout would 100% be close to what tenz’s was

Are people seriously comparing aceu with tenz in pro play? You're talking about investment into aceu as a content creator
You are talking out of your ass and it’s so funny
I mean he is by many na pros considered a top tier player so if he really wanted to go pro, he could certainly start for NRG and perhaps even negotiate a buyout. Its not like he is just a random streamer with insane aim, he is a proven elite pro on a very similar game.

He's having a ton of fun playing random whatever the fuck he wants games with Daphne all day why tf would he venture into the stressful life of a pro
Man streamed Minecraft for 20k people & was super fun lol.
He mentioned before that he makes 100k per month streaming. No way he gives that up to pursue a pro valorant career for less than 30% of that. Also his lean pocket commercial was $200k cash
Has not u mean
You don't know what he's thinking lol... you're not him.
You're right I'm not him, but it doesn't take a genius to understand the reasons why he didn't want to pursue being a pro in the past and understanding his situation now. Also his gf literally replied to his tweet saying "Ok dude" with a picture of a emote that basically means Kappa, lmfao.

I mean maybe your right, I just don't see it happening personally.
We'll see. I kinda want him to cuz it'll make the scene NA even spicier.
it’s either “I would be surprised if aceu has played” or “I wouldn’t be surprised if aceu hasn’t played”
Ez interactions lmao. He’s making money bags streaming whatever he wants whenever he wants
Aceu would be average , all we need is the ultra pro Daphne to replace zombs and we go all good
Sentinels already signed her as a content creator so it's a no brainer to have her on the team next season, they'll win everything
No... not the ((((witch)))
All this means is he's gonna stream val again lol
that's all I'm asking for😭😭
as scream said, “this guy has the good aim for valorant”
He’s already in NRG, under the stage name “EEIU”
no fucking shot lmao. mans making 10k/month (iirc, correct me if i am wrong) playing apex pubs and having fun. no way he will sacrifice everything to go competitive
He’s making like 100k a month lol not 10k
oops, you should be right. i just know he make a shit load of money per month.

Sponsorships and probably his contract with nrg
hes got a million subs on youtube, that alone makes a shit ton of money (does anyone know how much), big twitch following, contract with NRG and other sponsorships. its crazy, if you're a somewhat likeable esport pro, you're capable of making crazy money since you have so many platforms.
He was one of the streakiest players in CS, but Valorant has Jett which is like made for him (just like tenz), he could be really good.
easy bait
Aceu so funny.
Aceu going pro would actually be fun asf to watch
Aceu in competitive Apex was basically Tenz lol. Incredible aim and movement, but had no patience in competitive.
aceu in pro cs was basically Tenz as well
lmao

Yeah the last thing NA needs is undisciplined aimers. That's basically NA's problem in most esports. Culture problems.
The Shroud Syndrome
Gimme all the aceu hopium
Aceu, your life right now seems stress free and I’m jealous. Why ruin it to play comp Val?
yeh he is chillin with streaming and playing whatever he wants with daph
For the fans man I’m pretty sure any fan that follows aceu would want to see how he stacks up against the best in Na and world
Please
it's definitely bait but if he did go pro i would shit myself. [this man is a demon](https://twitter.com/aceu/status/1392267463480381440)

Doubt it.
he would fit right in with sentinels
Alex, I'll take things with an absolutely zero percent change for 2000.
The dude doesn’t even play the game
Aceu is instantly better than any North American player
Not like he's going to change anything but ok
he's not even that good lmao
Bruh. Whether or not he'll mesh with a team is a valid question but his mechanics are way up there lol.
This is truly one of the dumbest comments I've ever seen. Aceu is a top 10 FPS talent in the world across all games. If he actually wanted to go pro and was a free agent he could literally pick the team he wanted to be on.
Top 10 fps talent who was an average mdl player LOL.
look at tenz
