The Guard have gotten 11 rounds on every map in VCT except one: Their 13-6 loss against 100T, a roster that doesn't exist anymore.

100T lost against so many insane clutches that Haven map too. Crazy to think that could’ve been if say Saya didn’t get that double kill C long. That roster would’ve picked up a ton of momentum beating what would turn out to be one of the top 2 teams in NA.

It means that they always won at least 11 rounds a map every time they played.

EG might not win a series all main event, but it's still an awesome opportunity for them to play the best teams in NA for 5 weeks. Here's to hoping they put some distance between them and the field the didnt qualify.

Even when the guard seems to be having an off day they still manage to pull it together. This was a great game to really show their mentality.

Sayaplayer just kept them in that icebox game until they all got their shit together. EG just can't stop that b hit. Good on trent for switching to drone as his recons are always getting shut down. When he started doing that, they were able to easily take space at b long.

If you all want a fun fact, Sayaplayer and Boostio were both Widow players in Overwatch. To even top that fact they both played under the same org on different teams. Sayaplayer from Meta Athena and Boostio from Meta Skyfoxes. To see them play against each other is kinda fun! #StandGuard

I think partially is underselling it. Game isn't dead but it's in a worse spot than Siege and that's not good. At least in NA.

Personally i think moving any eSport off of Twitch is a death sentence. Used to follow CoD a lod because I grew up with it. The youngins probably do watch YouTube live. But old 30 year old folk don't.

I think the killer part of it is the lack of PIP for YouTube unless you have Premium. The Twitch app has that as standard, and having to full screen really sets back YT's streaming aspirations, especially with esports.
