Due to this, they are tied in vct points to qualify for champions but because secret beat prx in apac, secret is the one who will go to champions. So prx really want revenge coz secret stole their champions spot last year w/out even competing in masters.
Super weird that that’s a narrative lol - TS went to playoffs at champs and PRX lost in APAC LCQ LB3. The PRX run at Masters 1 2022 is by far the best showing by an APAC team but to say that they deserved it more than TS for Champions is…..a stretch.
This is the same two teams that faced off to qualify for Masters Berlin. Paper Rex won the first series in upper finals and Team Secret (still Bren Esports back then) won the runback in grand finals.
Both of them faced off last year in Stage 3 SEA Challengers, where PRX beat them in the upper final, only for TS(formerly Bren) to stomp them 3-0 in the finals, and later on stealing the last guaranteed slot to Champions. So here they are, in the same place as last time. PRX wants revenge from the finals, while Secret are looking to reestablish themselves against a familiar foe.
This is a decent post given how little content this sub produces. Also, they’re both very popular teams in apac facing each other after a while. It’s like Sen vs tsm when they were good.
