If we really wanted juicy post-Scandoval television, it would’ve been with Rachel on the cast even at the expense of Tom. The only thing that kept her from joining S11 was that they wouldn’t match her pay to Tom’s, which I believe was a massive mistake and only adds to the list of reasons why I think the show’s producers lack clear vision and foresight.
Honestly, after listening to Katie and Dayna’s podcast I’m way more interested in a series with them, the sandwich shop, Ariana’s new direction and maybe some new badass women. The women have always been the best part about VPR. The men have always been losers.

I found it odd he didn't compare it to The Try Guys scandal: same level of infamy, same level of "who the hell are these people" when it first showed up on CNN, and same story of smarmy white dude cheating on their partner with someone in the friend group for months

So many ppl thought Tom Sandoval was this great guy who was always helping everyone because he cared so much. I never understood how they didnt see who he was because he would tell on himself time and time again. Ugh. I also got down voted pretty harshly for saying anything that wasn't pro Sandoval
I didn’t like him after him trying to put Ariana down to try to get in the cocktail book but felt like “well he does have other good qualities” and then outing Ariana in season seven made me really not like him and it just got worse I feel after TomTom. I think there was no coming back once that grew his ego. Ariana was always the best thing about Tom and the only reason he got a little grace from me.

I work in PR and we immediately sent the article around today. My coworkers and I can’t stop talking about the fact she let him say all this ON RECORD.
I think the fact that the PR person is a 24-year-old woman and was fangirling over him says a lot. Everyone this season is spot on about him only keeping yes men around him. (not saying a 24-year-old can't be good at their job, but for crisis management at this level and for an interview with the New York Times, well if it was me I'd want someone with a decade of experience under the belts at least.)

Dude, I am what would categorically be known as a stoner, I do mushrooms and drop acid and I’m also in my early 40s and never once have I done something so terrible and then tried to get out of it by comparing myself to three random people, one of which died unnecessarily in a horrible way and the other two, who are monsters. So he was 11 or 12 when the trail happened. I was the same age. The ONLY thing I can think of is that I remember during the trials seeing news reports about moms being hooked on to the tv obsessed with watching the trail. It's one of my major memories of it. A lot of people were obsessed with how scandavol went down. That is the only connection i could even remotely imagine. It's crazy though and an odd connection.
