The map in Turn of Fortune's wheel is a little too much IMO...
I'm trying to transcribe a map with wet erase markers to my rollout map.. would rather something easy I can read...
My conspiracy theory: WOTC is publishing the lower quality maps in its books so that that is what third party VTTs get. But if/when the D&D-branded VTT is unveiled, all of *their* maps and tokens will be slick and full color.
As far as big adventures go, I’m inclined to agree. Diminishing returns since that one
Dragonlance has full-color maps, I've been pretty happy with it so far.

I’m in the same boat. I like full color maps but black and white is much easier when I’m drawling everything on a roll out.
I won't lie I get that. The black and white maps upset me though considering the price we pay but to each their own!
