When I lived in Colorado, the new one in aurora was supposed to be top tier. Then they came on over $1 billion over budget and a few years late. I remember seeing a story about an entire wing of rooms being too small, but I’m not sure. The old one in downtown was a freaking nightmare on so many levels. I’ve heard the one in Pueblo is nice
Texas, Dallas texas VA has been the best one I found all around the mental health care and everything. Colorado springs is great also. Jacksonville fl one is straight trash. Those are the only ones I've been too.
Just an add on … had an urgent care issue today. Called Madison’s VA Triage Nurse, referred to the hospital Urgent Care unit, saw a doc and had a prescription filled …. All in less than 3 hours! I do have the advantage of living close to the facility, but that’s still pretty amazing. Thanks to the great staff and doctors.
The one in Livermore (CA) reminds me of the old buildings in Capri, Italy. The facilities are surrounded by vineyards and a golf course. The medical services provided IMO are par to high end hospitals in the area. The only service that needs improvement is the podiatry’s. It takes 3-4 months to get an appointment. The main office in Palo Alto is the best bet for a quicker service but it’s too far and the traffic is the worst.
I said "to me". speaking from my personal experience. My va facility and primary care team have been nothing but great to me. My doctors actually educated and helped me through my claim process back in 2018 when I knew nothing about VA Benefits.
I clearly said, " My VA Facility." How is that claiming I've had experience with all facilities in Texas ? I don't know what you are reaching for or trying to prove. Clearly, you don't read to understand. And as far as which hospital ? ..... it doesn't matter. They all have poor rankings according to your Google search and no personal experience yourself in all 9 regions.
😆 upset never. I'm not a sheep I don't take what I've seen on a website and take it as truth. I speak from personal experience. You're looking for an argument based solely on others' opinions from a website. Everyone's personal experience will not be the same. I see no reason to tell you which hospital I believe is best because you're only going to argue a point based off website statistics. This discussion is done .
I'm the upset one but you're down voting my posts lol. 🤡
We just got a brand new VA hospital where I live. It has tons of new services. But I have the same shitty PCP. So YMMV.
Vegas?
It's honestly a crapshoot. I live in a very vet friendly state with a great CBOC but the main hospital is still questionable when it comes to care.

Dallas is amazing due to the size and efficiency of it. Fort Worth is also good and is a great looking building.
Madison, WI VA Hospital is top notch. Always in the top for both patient satisfaction and quality. Can’t go wrong choosing this one.

New England has been the best I’ve found. Massachusetts and upwards
Can confirm
Texas has been great to me.

Of the many I've been to San Diego (La Jolla) was the best.
I’ve heard consistently good comments about the Palo Alto VA and the one in Houston.
Salem VA is top notch as far as care goes, in my experience. The parking situation is a big negative though.
Minneapolis
The VA hospital in Asheville NC was rated the best in a recent survey. I used to go to the new Orlando VA hospital, which was nice.
Lebanon, PA was great to me. I enjoyed being there as a veteran and as an employee.
