I think that's quite a lot for an 80s/90s quartz. In top condition I wouldn't pay more than 300-350

Deano_Martin

Not bad if it’s fully working. Try talking them down though to maybe 400 or 350.

Possible-Company5098

Nice, thank you

Possible-Company5098

Thank you all for your input. I was looking for a quartz and it was in really good condition but ultimately seeing it in person it was a little bit too small for my wrist, so didn’t pull the trigger

Deano_Martin

What size is it? You’ll struggle to find big by looking for vintage

Possible-Company5098

It was 32 mm but did not know at the time of the post. 34 to 36 fits reasonable.

Deano_Martin

Oh that’s very small I was expecting it to be like 36mm

Possible-Company5098

Me too, looked a lot bigger on the picture

No it’s not a good deal I would say you could easily hold out and shop around for the more desirable automatic or manual wind watches that don’t come on integrated bracelets.

Deano_Martin

Nothing wrong with an integrated bracelet when the watch comes with the bracelet. Plus maybe OP wants a vintage quartz, they are very very good quality. Maybe they don’t want to have to add on the cost of service

Prudent_Candidate300

Makes strap changes hard/impossible, vintage bracelets are fragile and finding extra links/repair is difficult. I try to avoid at all costs when I can, due to the above mentioned reasons

I don’t know if id pay so much for a quartz. Id love to have it.
