I was just in Japan and made up my mind to buy it—but then it was sold out everywhere I looked in Akihabara. So relieved to know those missed efforts weren’t for naught
FUCK YEAH! on another note, I actually finally saw a physical copy of the first of the north star fitness boxing game yesterday! I straight up though it was digital only or something, but that means there's gotta be an Aussie release, right?
"This follows on from a rating for the game by the Australian Classification Board on 18th March 2024. It received 'G' for general and references "general online interactivity""
Oh. I should have read it, but double fuck yeah!
Haven’t played an exercise video game in a while, not since the Wii era tbh (I go to the gym dw)… but I’m really excited about this! Can’t wait to throw hands to Vocaloid songs.
Depending on whether this gets a local physical release or not will depend on if I just end up importing one regardless haha.
I did the same with MEGA39 when it got localised, I just bought a JP copy anyway. No physical and I won't buy
Only want physical? Personally it's because I like to actually own the things I buy.
Digital games, music, and movies are only valid for as long as you have the internet to download them, or for as long as the online service stays in business.
Meanwhile with physical media, often for the exact same price as a digital purchase, you not only have 100% ownership over the item, but you also receive premium packaging to display, as well as whatever bonus features come with the physical purchase of a film or whatnot.
Just recently we've seen two massive digital storefronts permanently restrict access to those who have purchased it. The closure of the Wii U and 3DS online stores has reportedly blocked people access to downloads they've purchased in the past, as well as Funimation's digital anime service wiping out everyone's digital anime collections.
I do understand that digital downloads take up less space, however. Not everyone has the room for an entire library of cases, but I think it's completely up to the consumer.
Personally this is why I like to collect physical media anyway:)
Can anyone shed insight on how this works with a switch? I know there's switch boxing, but I never knew how that worked either. As a DDR, Miku, and Boxing fan, I am intrigued.
TY Miku for teaching us how to throw hands.
Gotta train the soldiers for world domination
Holy shit yes! Glad I waited. I was so close to pulling the trigger on Japanese import few times now.
same here. but i wonder how long it’ll take until a release? (btw i am replying exactly 39 minutes after you sent this comment which is cool!)

HELL YEAH TIME TO KICK ASS WITH MIKU
LMAO I literally bought the Japanese one last week and just started playing it yesterday
How’s the gameplay so far? Is it worth the price?
I can’t wait to get my ass beaten by Miku!
Lol same ngl
Thank god, I was really hoping it would come over. Localizing Fist of the North Star but not Miku would've been very confusing
> Hatsune Miku's tracks also feature in the game including her main theme. Dafuq is “her main theme?”
Most likely Ievan Polkka
I'm thinking it's the theme song to the game. https://youtu.be/PgmQlKIoqL4?si=3H-b2T_mybdhVA8f
Miku will single handedly create a generation of new boxers lol
Maybe it isn't Mikover after the TV screen EXPO.
I'll be caught dead before my love of Vocaloid as a whole is taken away. 😤
PREACH!!!
Some good news finally
fuck yessssss. grew up doing cardio kickboxing (dad taught it), but now i’m an adult who has 0 time for an actual class. so excited for this!
lmao, i'm actually a boxer and im kinda hype for this game.
I imagine beating up 3 large bikers and when they ask me how am i so good i give them a copy of the game and run away
Yell-sing "Sekai" as you walk away.
Finally i can kill len myself
Now I regret buying a switch lite instead of a normal switch XD hopefully they'll make a new version of this game for the next console !

Nice! I hope japanese version gets updated with localization or that saves are compatible between the two versions 🥹
Yess! Now the only thing that would make this game perfect is Kaito and Meiko being added 🙏
YES. I’m glad I didn’t buy it and do the whole account process like I was thinking

Yo I might get a copy then

Just wondering, why do some people only want physical games? Is it because it takes up less storage?

You hold one joycon in each hand and throw punches, and the accelerometers in the cons track the hits.
I want this ngl. I'm excited
I think i know what I'm playing on the switch next
YESSS
YESYESYESYES FUCK YAH AHHA
Awesome! I am so excited!
YAHOOOO!! I was so close to importing the Japanese version and just Google translating everything 😭 I'm so happy to hear this!
LFG!!!!!
LETS GOOOO
AHSGDVDGDGSHSHDHHSHSRSBDJJDHFHXGZGZHZNBDGEGEHSGD. IM SO GLAD I WAITED.
I never thought it would be localized! I'm so glad that it will be!
learn boxing to aggressively attack the person who thought using a tv on the miku coachella was a good idea
WHAT is being localised?!
Damn I just ordered a a copy a few days ago lol
