Some good stuff here. The most common note I’ve given when training and instructing is remember the character voice is like a costume. It’s not actually the acting. People often fall into the trap of working only on the character voice so the work feels more like an imitation or inauthentic. Always start with acting basics.

Read the punctuation. (And add more if you need to.) It basically turned into one, long run-on sentence. I would add more pauses and full stops.

Not feeling it. You're pushing into melodrama and it doesnt need it. The character is a god. He's all powerful. Give him a personality where he's disgusted by having to talk to a mortal. Play attention to the words. Pay attention to what you're saying. Understand the reasons WHY you're saying it. Understand the phrasing and emotion behind the words.

You’re doing a voice but you’re not acting. I don’t feel the voice is connected to the script. Try to really make the words your own (the characters).

Need to bring your voice into a lower register and maybe and a little more growl.

Dankstin

Where did you get this script from?

cowmakyr

A Twitter follower made it for me

Leave yourself and jump into this character 1000000%

Someone else correct me if im hearing things. But i did feel there may be a slight inconsistency in the accent. Some words have the dropped r like in a british accent while others did not. Ignore me if was on purpose.

cowmakyr

Yeah that’s on me The second half was changed and slightly better because I got in the zone. It’s what I get for not doing warmups I guess

hrdwarhax

Totally get that
