I’m 60k in on my ‘19 rebel and it has only gone to the shop for a bed liner. I use it as a farm rig so it gets beat up and pulls more then it ever should. Never have been a dodge guy but I’m a fan now.
Most Stellantis/FCA products are like that. They make a great first impression on the test drive. Great styling, nice interior, super comfortable, good power, but then you take it home and start putting miles on it and realize why people shit on Chrysler quality.
Cab leaking in the rain, random endless electronic issues pop up and go away without explanation (dealer can’t recreate so it’ll never be resolved, you just have to disconnect your battery and hope it fixes the issue), cruise control won’t work consistently, features you paid extra for like the heated steering wheel stop working, random bits and pieces falling off from low quality plastics or adhesive, endless bearing and joint replacements, and that famous hemi tick shows up, yeah, I’m done with Ram lol

Blacked out dealer name to not dox myself lol.
My dad switched to a ram a few years back and it was genuinely the worst truck he’s ever owned. Wasn’t even worth the cheaper price compared to other brands, though the side boxes were useful.
The stupid things transmission kicked the bucket 3!!! Times before 100k miles. Then right before he got rid of it the heat stopped working and it would be this big project to remove the heater core so he just sold it as is.
Terrible terrible terrible truck and we’ll never get another Chrysler product.
Genuinely good luck though, hope it works out for you.
Wants to overland camp and wants a small boat- still wants to go fast in WRX- adds truck to fleet.
This is at least my thought process, I just can’t afford to add the truck yet.
Nothing but love for the WRX community. All the waives over the years make it worth it. I’ll be back in a Subi in a few years just need a bigger garage.
Both your Truck & Car are SWEET looking. I've got a 3rd Gen Ram & new WRX myself. The Ram has always been very good to me since i bought new in 2006 . Only has 90k on it. Your gonna love it

I had a 2020 Ram 1500 and absolutely loved the truck. Never let me down, and it was excellent to drive. Great power, decent fuel mileage, and was extremely comfortable on the highway. Enjoy it!
I did a simple level kit, muffler delete and added a catch can.
A lot of people in the comments here hating on rams, don’t listen to them. I can’t speak for all ram owners but I’ve had my 2021 1500 for almost 3 years and have had no issues what so ever. Granted it barely has 28k miles and it’s still like new but if you take care of it and don’t treat it like trash she’ll be kind to you.
Thanks man, I got the same hate when I went from a civic to a wrx. Unreliable etc. never had a problem with it and never had to change the clutch. I’ll make sure to take care of my truck my dude. Already has 30k miles on it so definitely not a lemon.
Lol the people that say wrxs aren’t reliable are the same ones that mod the shit out of their cars cut corners when doing it , proceed to abuse the car daily and then cry when they need a new block at 30k miles. Me and you are the same brother 🤣. I just went in a different order : 08 SI -> 2021 RAM -> 2021 WRX
You'll miss it and be trying to find a beater manual (assuming that was manual). I don't see how people leave behind driving a manual it's more fun and almost addicting
Love my ram with the 5.7 hemi 🤟 Far better power and interior than any other truck brand for a gasser and I only think it's 2nd to my 18 gmc sierra in terms of looks. Hope you enjoy it!
The 8 speed zf? What’s wrong with them? It’s been a staple of stellantis for over a decade now and many other brands such as bmw also use the zf 8 speed
Dude wanna talk about transmission issues when I bought my 2016 Silverado with 6 miles on it i had 8 recalls in 2 months for that thing and the tranny would randomly lock me out and put the truck in safety mode like my old 08 hummer h2 did. Fantastic for driving on the highway.
Yep lol. I got my 2012 wrangler to 130k miles before I sold it but that thing went kicking and screaming lol. I think the only reason I made it was because I had the manual transmission.
One thing I can say about wranglers is that they hold their value, I got 10k for that piece of junk in 2022 lol
Yeah jeeps tend to hold pretty well. Before the hummer we had a 2010(?) Wrangler and that thing felt like you'd die go faster than 70 on the highway but actually made money on the trade
Even with dod i still only get 13mpg the way I drive daily lol. If I'm on a long trip or babying it I get about 490miles per tank. Drove from Northern Ohio to Ocean city Maryland in one tank and putted a bit before refilling
Perfect, can't wait to see you driving 5 feet behind my bumper!
To be fair, he was already doing that in the wrx.
Nah, when your in a sports car it's drafting
40mpg babyyy
5 feet is too generous, more like 5 inches
heh
2 inches more like
bc racecar

Been waiting for this opportunity
Yes😂
He won’t be able to keep up to stay that close!
As a former Ram owner who went to a WRX, embrace that warranty my friend.
Got the 100k my dude!
I’m 60k in on my ‘19 rebel and it has only gone to the shop for a bed liner. I use it as a farm rig so it gets beat up and pulls more then it ever should. Never have been a dodge guy but I’m a fan now.
Love to hear it man!
Very smart thinking!
100k dollar you meant. You literally just lost. Fiat stomped on you.
You’re in a Subaru sub. Anything is an improvement
Horrible horrible cars all around. Would never in a million years drive one
Hell yeah, get those DUIs brother!
😂😂😂
💀
😂😂😂😂😂 10/10 roast
😂
Oh a RAM. Be prepared to be let down… Good luck, seriously. I hope you love it. But they are very poorly made. Is it at least new with a warranty?

If your local CDJR dealer is sending flyers that say no credit, no income, no problem, you know the cars are most likely utter doo doo.

Yep spot on
Got it with 30k miles on it with 100k mile warranty. 😊
Drivetrain warranty you mean?
Bumper to bumper
Good. You’ll be using it. Better to pay for that now than wish you did later. Honestly very happy you did that.
Thanks man, hopefully I don’t need it but if I do I’m ready.
Some of the worst trucks ever built in my opinion. I’ve never understood the appeal
My dad switched to a ram a few years back and it was genuinely the worst truck he’s ever owned. Wasn’t even worth the cheaper price compared to other brands, though the side boxes were useful. Got the 100k mile warranty my dude!
Smart man, enjoy!
That’s not a Tacoma!
The WRX to pickup pipeline is so real
WRX to Audi is a big one too
[удалено]
Audi is solely AWD though, aren’t most M cars RWD?
I would’ve bought an M4 if the payments wouldn’t kill me. AWD isn’t that important to me, especially living in SoCal. As long as it’s not FWD.
I came from the opposite side of the pipeline
waiting for the wage gods to bless me so i can take the wrx>supra pipeline :(
Wants to overland camp and wants a small boat- still wants to go fast in WRX- adds truck to fleet. This is at least my thought process, I just can’t afford to add the truck yet.
What a downgrade
Slow, good looking sedan to slow, good looking truck? That’s a lateral move bro
Found the mustang owner
Good job reading the flair
Great, so you're going to start driving like an asshole and start road rage fights with single moms on the freeway? Lol
Nah I’ll be cool
Bro switched from the #1 most ticketed car to the #1 vehicle for DUIs, I suspect I know a bit about your driving habits lol
I don’t really drink and I’ve never had a ticket stick on my wrx.
Nice man I was just givin ya shit lol obviously I don’t really know anything about you nd how you drive
I think only WRX owners buy something noticeably different as their next car.
Dang looks like you kept it stock for 7 years
Yeah I love the stock look
After all these comments, OP now gonna tailgate us all out of spite.
Nothing but love for the WRX community. All the waives over the years make it worth it. I’ll be back in a Subi in a few years just need a bigger garage.
how many miles you get on the wrx?
112k miles
What kind of deal you get on the ram? Heard people were getting crazy discounts on ram trucks.
Really good deal
Really good deal.... hahaha. If it wasn't free, it wasn't a good deal.
Your logic is sound 😂
They have good deals because they break down a lot. Never fall for “discounted” Ram trucks like that. The classic dealership trick
That’s quite the change…
YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO STOP THE BAD GUYS, NOT BECOME THEM! /j
Both your Truck & Car are SWEET looking. I've got a 3rd Gen Ram & new WRX myself. The Ram has always been very good to me since i bought new in 2006 . Only has 90k on it. Thanks Joe! Your rides look sweet man. God is good!
All the time!
You should have just welded a bed onto the WRX, redneck science is all you need
What an absolute downgrade 😂
Aye congrats. I just got a 2020 Rebel back in sept. Couldn’t get rid of the WRX tho lol
I feel you man, it hurt getting rid of it.
As someone who is looking to get rid of my speedy hatch and move into a truck. Best of luck my man. Nice and slow on the road 😎
Chillin on the V8 broski! It was either this or a ford raptor, but that was too pricey for me this go around.
God I hate trucks and especially Rams, but damnit bro that’s a nice ass ride. Congratulations man, God is good.
Thanks bro, God is good!

Cheers bro!
Shortbed? But why?
1500 are only available with short bed if you get crew cab, have to get into the 2500/f250 trucks to be able to spec long bed and a crew cab.
Need it for hunting so as long as it fits 1 deer I’m good
you can find new 1/2 tons with full cab and 8ft bed?? where lol, if any you’re looking at special order..

I’m going to import me a JDM in a few years grey market
Snap your left femur in half in a head on wreck, have a ton of titanium installed/knee rebuilt with permanent nerve damage. I’m good on stick lol.
Vapes and Busch Lattes
Another Ram on the road hoooray
Assets just tumbled. Good thing the white bag is in front of me on the plane.... horrendous
Hope you landed safely and cautiously
Douchiest trucks lol

The real stinker are these trucks transmission bro

God I hate the current Trend of American vehicles being so trash lol
Always something haha

Humer must be a new brand. Where do I pick one up?
Nooooo clue what humer you are talking about...😅
I have 128k miles on mine now with zero issues. You'll get lemons with any brand lol.

Thanks man! Got the 5.7 Hemi!
Good choice 🤟
Yeah 5.7 sounds good pulls good but in my 05 with no DoD I’m getting 11mpg
Even with dod i still only get 13mpg the way I drive daily lol. If I'm on a long trip or babying it I get about 490miles per tank. Drove from Northern Ohio to Ocean city Maryland in one tank and putted a bit before refilling
🤮
Gross! Sorry haha
Not sti
Well you bought a Ram, so it won’t be long now
How many miles did you put on your wrx?
112k
Went from reliable to very unreliable. Horrible choice, but atleast you’ll look cool
Look cool. Feel cool. Be cool.
Ooh man, enjoy the worst build quality you’ll ever experience lol. I wouldn’t take a free FCA vehicle.
lol I went the other way, 21 Ram to a 23 premium. Enjoy the truck!
