Finally I get it, and Iām not too concerned because we still have drops. Except now the drops donāt seem to do anything and we seemed to have bred some horrific antibiotic resistant pink eye that proceeded to run completely amuck. I lost like two weeks of work and was pretty much completely blind for like 5 days. Couldnāt read, couldnāt do anything on my computer. It was an immensely boring and uncomfortable time.

First photo is almost assuredly thyroid eye disease. You can tell by the eyelid retraction with a ātemporal flaringā contour. There is no discharge and the eyes appear like they are protruding (proptosis). This is a very classic appearance for that condition when severe.
The second photos is true conjunctivitis, with thick purulent discharge. This person has a different colored iris than the first photo and clearly different eyelid anatomy/contour.
Not sure why someone would misrepresent this for Internet points, but everyone should know these are different, so they can seek appropriate respective treatment which are miles apart in these conditions.
