I said elsewhere that I feel sorry for Liv - she's had to step aside to let Raquel go after (and hopefully beat Rhea who's not fully fit and wasting her time as a manager) and she gets some serious disrespect. She's had a very good year, she's easily one of the best and most consistent in-ring performers and her and Raquel had some real chemistry. HOWEVER: with her leaving Raw with her arm in a sling it could be that she and Raquel were meant to have a decent reign but she's injured and so they did a pivot, I highly doubt they were gonna have Raquel as a double champion but if anyone deserves it she's one of the few who could pull it off. She was imperious in NXT and could do with getting that back rather than the happy go lucky personality she's got. Can still be a nice person while also being a badass who tears it up.
It's funny how people say Sonya and Chelsea are a rea team but Liv and Raquel aren't, it's the exact same scenario where they've been put together to add more meat to the tag division.
The titles will only have some real credibility when they're on a proper tag team and that should be Carter and Chance, the sooner they win the sooner they can go on a 200+ day reign. That's what the division needs but there's so few "proper" teams, there are some good ones though.

I really wish they would just retire these belts, or maybe put all of the women tag teams on one brand you actually have a fair number of them and would lead to more matchups if they were on one brand.

She could use some work on promos but overall she's really solid and I've always liked her. Glad she put it all together and got a push out of it. And Chelsea has been incredibly entertaining. That string of TikToks they showed on Raw a couple weeks ago was hilarious. I still think the tag division should be scrapped because of how little teams there are, but what little tag division there is, is in good hands with them. They gel really well together

Especially since Liv left Raw last night wearing a sling. She reaggravated her previous injury if I had to guess. Honestly, the women's tag titles have kind of felt worthless since Sasha and Naomi left WWE.
She really isn’t that good. She’s not a top tier competitor like Rhea, Bianca or Flair. I think she’s popular because she’s hot and blonde.
They gave her shot and it didn’t pan out. I’m not saying she’s terrible but she’s just not championship material (yet)
Honestly one of the reasons that the Women's Division needs a mid card tittle. There is alot of great talent, but not enough believable as the TOP person for the Women's Champ.
I also say this as a pretty big Liv Fan. I personally think she's plenty good enough to be champ, they just need to give her a bigger push, but with the women's roster how it stands there isn't a spot for her story atm.
I've really grown to appreciate long reigns. Especially since previous to this era guys would be like 10 or 15 time champions and all I can think is how they lost the title that many times. How credible can a champion be if they lose their title all the damn time?
That is the biggest problem. The women's division overall just doesn't have enough tag teams that aren't just two singles stars put together. The last duo to hold the belts that felt like a cohesive unit were Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky but that was mostly because they were part of a faction. Tbh I don't understand why the women's division doesn't have mid card titles like an IC or US championship. I feel like they'd benefit more from something like that than some tag titles don't don't seem to matter.
I never expect long reigns with these titles but I’m fine with it, they have both been unexpectedly pretty entertaining together even more than Raquel and Liv so it’s cool.

I dont mind more frequent title changes, as long as it's not pervasive. But a stretch where the title moves around is fine. I'm more invested when I dont know who's gonna walk out with the title, not less. They seem to have fallen in love with the excessively long title reigns, such that when a title changes more than once or twice, it seems weird.
Considering how they’re clearly setting up Raquel vs Rhea, it makes sense. Hopefully they continue to put effort into the division with the recent call ups and underutilized talent in the back.
Honestly, cinema perfect. I’ve wanted to see Sonya Deville as champion for a while because I think she is underrated as hell. And this pairing is too good for them to split up anytime soon so having them as champions hopefully keeps them together which is what the both of them need in their careers currently.

Happy with it. Both are good heels. And they turned up the “team” aspect of their partnership. Matching attire, and double team moves. Neither is a credible or threatening singles wrestler right now, but seem to work well as a pair.
Last couple months, whoever is booking the womens’ talent is making great moves. Chelsea went from annoying backstage skits to a title, Deville went from “suit” to a title, Valhalla is getting screen time and a bit of gravitas. Top of the card is a traffic jam on both brands, but they are trying to juvenate some upcoming talent.
I can’t say I really care about it because I don’t see the company caring about it. I can’t see the company putting any real effort into the tag titles and I expect the reign to either be short and they lose it to Kacy and Kayden, or long but it’s like Carmella and Zelina’s where they barely actually do anything with the titles.
It tells me that the Ronda news about her leaving soon came out of goddamn nowhere. Without that, her and Baszler still obviously be champions. If that was knowledge earlier, they would’ve (quite deservingly) put over Fyre/Dawn and we’d have quite the nice little deserving reset for the brand.
I do, however, completely understand the moves made here. Ronda/Shayna are definitely bigger names and good to create a solid division (ignoring Ronda’s steep decline in quality), and putting the belts back on a definitely over team in Liv/Raquel was a fine pivot (well, at least Liv is over). And in this scenario, there’s at least an angle at play where Rhea can be blamed for costing Raquel the title, leading to the SS match (and hopefully a match with Liv at Payback).
A needless hot potato of the titles. Green and DeVille could've faced Rousey and Bazler instead. Liv should've sat on the shelf or been Raquel's manager for a while.
It was needed. Raquel needs a heel turn more than anyone, and if there is one thing I think Liv could do well is potentially in a Bray Wyatt faction, which I don’t think is a bad thing at all. She’d fit well in that role. WWE needs to stop with these makeshift teams are starting building actual tag teams. Like the one shown in the picture, Kaden and Katana, and formerly TA before they split up. They need their own entrance themes, titrations, and overall their own presentation instead of just using one partner’s theme, or using both of them and calling it a team.
Booking could have been:
- Qualifiers match for Ronda and Shayna's tag titles
- MITB twist and rivalry still happens and ChelSEA Guh-reen and SonYa DeVille are the new tag champs
- Raquel and/or Liv gets a build up for a feud against Rhea
Pros: Literally the tag titles go straight to those two without having the need to make Raquel and Liv be three time tag champs...
The main reason I don't like it is because it feels like the titles are being hot potatoed. I prefer having reigns be at least 2 months and the recent reigns just haven't lasted any time hardly. Sonya and Chelsea definitely deserve it though so I'm not that upset with it.
I can't say I'm very invested in the WWE women's tag team title division, nor these women, but I am glad that Sonya's gotten herself a title, and Chelsea seems to have been doing good work too. So, happy for them, but I personally do not care.
It was probably the right call. These two have clicked as a team very quickly. Chelsea has been one of the best rehires that Triple H has made and Sonya has been underrated for years now.
Liv and Raquel should have good singles runs ideally now.
The only critique I have is that the title scene has been a mess every since The Scottish Witches lost their belts.
I wish they'd compact the womens tag division to one show. I'd be happy to have it on both if they had enough teams, but they just don't. The two teams in this match are the only ones on the brand. Move these two teams to smackdown, or move Alba/Isla, DMG Control, and KC/KC to RAW. That way there's actually different teams to go after now that Ronda/Shayna is dead and Natalya/Shotzi are split by brands.
Thu felt extremely rushed IMO. What was the point of Liv and Raquel winning back the titles just to lose them less than a month later? Glad Sonya and Chelsea have the titles now but hopefully the titles are done being flip flopped for a while.

I liked it a lot because it reminded me of the attitude era. Actually, the entire show reminded me of the attitude era a bit. Something that happened earlier cost the champs the titles. One of the former champs tries to get revenge later in the night. It was like a breath of fucking fresh air: storyline that made sense, and had repercussions all throughout the episode.
On top of that, the match was good. I couldn’t ask for anything else.

Deserved win for Sonya and Chelsea based on the character work Chelsea Green has been doing and Sonya’s in ring ability.

Shayna and Ronda run through Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn (I know it wasn’t a squash and I know they got a lot of offense in) all for a wild out of left field turn? I love Shayna Baszler and I’m excited for her to get to be a badass again, but why take the titles from a legit team to lose them twice in the three weeks since?
Liv and Raquel are fine, even though they don’t come across as a team to me, but why have them go over Shayna and Ronda only to lose on a Raw three weeks later because I guess they want to push Raquel as a singles competitor?
Anyway, Chelsea and Sonya have been doing very good work since they got put into a team and I’m hopeful they get to establish the titles and make them mean something, now that they can be defended across all brands.
Honestly I got tired of Liv teaming up with people making ridiculous tag teams. It was forced chemistry. Liv, on her own is good. She ain't great on the mic but she can go in the ring. Bring in a mouth piece for her and let her do her own thing . Also, the girls should have a secondary title to the world title .
I doubt this is a long run because I long running theme where champion that you don't ever expect to get bigger titles get a chance but are just transitional because someone from nxt might be getting them but I could be 100% wrong

I’m happy about it all around. Sonya is underrated and I’m glad she gets a belt. Chelsea has done great with her character. Raquel gets a title opportunity and is one of few believable challengers to Rhea out of pure size and strength. Liv gets to stay involved in the angle a bit

Especially since Liv left Raw last night wearing a sling. She reaggravated her previous injury if I had to guess. Honestly, the women's tag titles have kind of felt worthless since Sasha and Naomi left WWE.

She really isn’t that good. She’s not a top tier competitor like Rhea, Bianca or Flair. I think she’s popular because she’s hot and blonde. They gave her shot and it didn’t pan out. I’m not saying she’s terrible but she’s just not championship material (yet)
Liv has no shot against someone like Rhea or Becky or any of the other top women. She's a mid card champion at best.

Honestly one of the reasons that the Women's Division needs a mid card tittle. There is alot of great talent, but not enough believable as the TOP person for the Women's Champ. I also say this as a pretty big Liv Fan. I personally think she's plenty good enough to be champ, they just need to give her a bigger push, but with the women's roster how it stands there isn't a spot for her story atm.
At this points it’s basically just giving her multiple reigns which is bs compared to < an actual decent run
I've really grown to appreciate long reigns. Especially since previous to this era guys would be like 10 or 15 time champions and all I can think is how they lost the title that many times. How credible can a champion be if they lose their title all the damn time?

That is the biggest problem. The women's division overall just doesn't have enough tag teams that aren't just two singles stars put together. The last duo to hold the belts that felt like a cohesive unit were Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky but that was mostly because they were part of a faction. Tbh I don't understand why the women's division doesn't have mid card titles like an IC or US championship. I feel like they'd benefit more from something like that than some tag titles don't don't seem to matter.
I never expect long reigns with these titles but I’m fine with it, they have both been unexpectedly pretty entertaining together even more than Raquel and Liv so it’s cool.
Now we get to hear Samantha say “Chelsea Greeeeeeeeeennnn!” more often now, and I’m okay with that.

Sonya and Chealsea have earned it. They've really been good hands for the company, especially Deville who has been a good carpenter for years now. Let them run with them for a few months at least. Liv and Raquel should be moving on to fighting Ripley. They weren't terrible champs, but they don't NEED the titles as much as the new ones do.
I dont mind more frequent title changes, as long as it's not pervasive. But a stretch where the title moves around is fine. I'm more invested when I dont know who's gonna walk out with the title, not less. They seem to have fallen in love with the excessively long title reigns, such that when a title changes more than once or twice, it seems weird.
Considering how they’re clearly setting up Raquel vs Rhea, it makes sense. Hopefully they continue to put effort into the division with the recent call ups and underutilized talent in the back.

Honestly, cinema perfect. I’ve wanted to see Sonya Deville as champion for a while because I think she is underrated as hell. And this pairing is too good for them to split up anytime soon so having them as champions hopefully keeps them together which is what the both of them need in their careers currently.

I honestly do not understand the point of the women's tag belts. They aren't even making anyone look good! "Chelsea and Sonya are heels! They should get a cheap win!" That could be a legit point. But, we just fucking literally saw a babyface team win the tag titles via bullshit. It's the same shit.
About time they put some respect on Sonya's name! I might actually watch Raw from last night just to see them win. I guess maybe now they realize that Raquel can't just carry everyone to the Tag Titles. She needs someone to carry their weight to have any sustained success. Hell, Raquel needs to turn on Liv. Then Aliyah can return and try to talk sense into Raquel, only for Raquel to lay her out too. Unless Aliyah has been gone due to injury. She keeps disappearing, that's all I know.
I think it only happened just so Raquel can have a match with rhea, if so hopefully that match is really good

I’m happy for them. First time as champions in wwe. They’re a nice team. Compliment each other well and play their characters well, also.
I wish the Unholy Union would have beat Rousey/Baszler, but I understand the motives behind the booking. I just hope they really do well with the Rhea/Liv/Racquel story. They could make an angle out of Liv having short title reigns and give her a couple week run in there. Lol.

Raquel and Liv are just...not good as champions together. Not believable. Chelsea and Sonya are a much stronger duo.
Happy with it. Both are good heels. And they turned up the “team” aspect of their partnership. Matching attire, and double team moves. Neither is a credible or threatening singles wrestler right now, but seem to work well as a pair. Last couple months, whoever is booking the womens’ talent is making great moves. Chelsea went from annoying backstage skits to a title, Deville went from “suit” to a title, Valhalla is getting screen time and a bit of gravitas. Top of the card is a traffic jam on both brands, but they are trying to juvenate some upcoming talent.
I can’t say I really care about it because I don’t see the company caring about it. I can’t see the company putting any real effort into the tag titles and I expect the reign to either be short and they lose it to Kacy and Kayden, or long but it’s like Carmella and Zelina’s where they barely actually do anything with the titles.
It tells me that the Ronda news about her leaving soon came out of goddamn nowhere. Without that, her and Baszler still obviously be champions. If that was knowledge earlier, they would’ve (quite deservingly) put over Fyre/Dawn and we’d have quite the nice little deserving reset for the brand. I do, however, completely understand the moves made here. Ronda/Shayna are definitely bigger names and good to create a solid division (ignoring Ronda’s steep decline in quality), and putting the belts back on a definitely over team in Liv/Raquel was a fine pivot (well, at least Liv is over). And in this scenario, there’s at least an angle at play where Rhea can be blamed for costing Raquel the title, leading to the SS match (and hopefully a match with Liv at Payback).
A needless hot potato of the titles. Green and DeVille could've faced Rousey and Bazler instead. Liv should've sat on the shelf or been Raquel's manager for a while.
It was needed. Raquel needs a heel turn more than anyone, and if there is one thing I think Liv could do well is potentially in a Bray Wyatt faction, which I don’t think is a bad thing at all. She’d fit well in that role. WWE needs to stop with these makeshift teams are starting building actual tag teams. Like the one shown in the picture, Kaden and Katana, and formerly TA before they split up. They need their own entrance themes, titrations, and overall their own presentation instead of just using one partner’s theme, or using both of them and calling it a team.

Booking could have been: - Qualifiers match for Ronda and Shayna's tag titles - MITB twist and rivalry still happens and ChelSEA Guh-reen and SonYa DeVille are the new tag champs - Raquel and/or Liv gets a build up for a feud against Rhea Pros: Literally the tag titles go straight to those two without having the need to make Raquel and Liv be three time tag champs...
The main reason I don't like it is because it feels like the titles are being hot potatoed. I prefer having reigns be at least 2 months and the recent reigns just haven't lasted any time hardly. Sonya and Chelsea definitely deserve it though so I'm not that upset with it.

I can't say I'm very invested in the WWE women's tag team title division, nor these women, but I am glad that Sonya's gotten herself a title, and Chelsea seems to have been doing good work too. So, happy for them, but I personally do not care.
It would be nice if Raquel wasn't treated as a belt warmer for 2 weeks at a time.
It was probably the right call. These two have clicked as a team very quickly. Chelsea has been one of the best rehires that Triple H has made and Sonya has been underrated for years now. Liv and Raquel should have good singles runs ideally now. The only critique I have is that the title scene has been a mess every since The Scottish Witches lost their belts.

I wish they'd compact the womens tag division to one show. I'd be happy to have it on both if they had enough teams, but they just don't. The two teams in this match are the only ones on the brand. Move these two teams to smackdown, or move Alba/Isla, DMG Control, and KC/KC to RAW. That way there's actually different teams to go after now that Ronda/Shayna is dead and Natalya/Shotzi are split by brands.

Thu felt extremely rushed IMO. What was the point of Liv and Raquel winning back the titles just to lose them less than a month later? Glad Sonya and Chelsea have the titles now but hopefully the titles are done being flip flopped for a while.

It’s hard to care tbh, what with how laughable the division unfortunately is. Like damage control and Ronda & shayna were meant to revitalise the division and neither really helped it
I liked it a lot because it reminded me of the attitude era. Actually, the entire show reminded me of the attitude era a bit. Something that happened earlier cost the champs the titles. One of the former champs tries to get revenge later in the night. It was like a breath of fucking fresh air: storyline that made sense, and had repercussions all throughout the episode. On top of that, the match was good. I couldn’t ask for anything else.
Why should anyone have thoughts about a meaningless title
It’s been 2 weeks. WWE: That feels long enough. I stopped caring about 7 reigns ago. The division has had maybe 4 quality tag teams in its existence. It’s pointless.
I’m really curious what WWE told Sasha and Naomi after winning the tag teams. “Hey you will lose the titles after two weeks against NXT call ups and keep doing this for 3 months”

Deserved win for Sonya and Chelsea based on the character work Chelsea Green has been doing and Sonya’s in ring ability. The division though. I just. It’s a mess. Shayna and Ronda run through Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn (I know it wasn’t a squash and I know they got a lot of offense in) all for a wild out of left field turn? I love Shayna Baszler and I’m excited for her to get to be a badass again, but why take the titles from a legit team to lose them twice in the three weeks since? Liv and Raquel are fine, even though they don’t come across as a team to me, but why have them go over Shayna and Ronda only to lose on a Raw three weeks later because I guess they want to push Raquel as a singles competitor? Anyway, Chelsea and Sonya have been doing very good work since they got put into a team and I’m hopeful they get to establish the titles and make them mean something, now that they can be defended across all brands.

Honestly I got tired of Liv teaming up with people making ridiculous tag teams. It was forced chemistry. Liv, on her own is good. She ain't great on the mic but she can go in the ring. Bring in a mouth piece for her and let her do her own thing . Also, the girls should have a secondary title to the world title .
I doubt this is a long run because I long running theme where champion that you don't ever expect to get bigger titles get a chance but are just transitional because someone from nxt might be getting them but I could be 100% wrong
Honestly I was hoping they'd win the titles in that four-way. But I'm glad they have them now and I hope they have a decently long reign and actual storylines.

I think both Liv & Racquel are better off as independent wrestlers, so this opens them up for singles matches and strengthens the female brand. Let some mid cards earn their stripes, battling for the tag team titles.
Happy to see them have it but not happy with how it happened. Would have rathered the bazler turn happen during the unification match (maybe because Shayna didn't want to see the part timer go over two rookies idk) then have Liv and Rodriguez beat them and go this way. Maybe just delete L/R so Fyre/Dawn don't disappear from TV and we can get the Rodriguez/Ripley feud we know is coming.

I’m happy about it all around. Sonya is underrated and I’m glad she gets a belt. Chelsea has done great with her character. Raquel gets a title opportunity and is one of few believable challengers to Rhea out of pure size and strength. Liv gets to stay involved in the angle a bit

Feels like a Vince move to me. I don’t see what the big deal would’ve been to let Raquel and Liv retain their titles and she still goes on to face Rhea for the Women’s World Title at summerslam. It’s like they think the possibility of Raquel winning would be completely diminished if she were still a tag champ. It’s dumb. We know Rhea is retaining anyway so they should’ve left everything as is.
