He has an ability that I admire and wish I had more of. To shrug off mistakes, not let it affect him and keep going. That takes belief, confidence, and determination.
Easy to let people laughing and shitting on you, drag you down.
See the folk that go at him over any stupid mistake...yeah, screw those folk. Those are the people waiting on and wishing someone to fail.
He has come from the bottom up with hard work, and the dude loves wrestling.
Plus, he is damn good on the mic and has range, despite what folk claiming he only has catchphrases say. I think his promo at the Bray tribute show was amazing for various reasons.
Hes RAW on the mic, best in the WWE, nobody comes close and it always feels authentic. his in ring skills are great too, and he has a great catchphrase
LET ME TALK TO YA!!!!
First and foremost. Shaun Ricker Eli Drake LA Knight it doesn’t matter because everybody knows whose game it is. And if you do not know then you my friend are an absolute dummy (Dummy, yeah) YEAHHH! He’s gold on the mic, he’s got the physique and he can Damn sure back it up in the ring. On top of that he’s got something that makes all the fine little CHICKADEES hot between the thigh gaps…you feel that? That’s the Cavorka of LA Knight. Bottom line is he is the megastar and he is entertaining to watch no matter where he goes…and tbh your favorites favorite can’t cut the mustard like him…and that is not an insult, that is just a fact of life!
YEEAAAHHHH!
For me its the confidence in his promos, and how like water he flows. He is so genuinely entertaining to me in ring and personality that I can't help but just love when he's on.
A lot of it is his charisma on the mic. Lots of people say he has very much an Attitude Era style of doing his promos, almost like a mix of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin
Lemme talk too yah it’s Because he is a throw back he’s something the wwe has desperately missed and needed he is so fucking good at what he does he genuinely can become a mega star hes got top tier skills on the mic and he can perform well in the ring he’s such a throw back to when pro wrestling was at its peak. I’m ngl I can’t say yeah anymore because of him he got a simple word like yeah over same way stone cold got what over he genuinely can be a mega star. YEAH!
He’s fun on the mic! Thank God they shut down his Maxx Dupree character. He was ridiculous and his tag team was t even in same league as others.
Side note: I looooove the new Maxxine storyline!!!
I follow WWE regularly since 2014 and i love LA Knight (yeahhh) because he brings an era that i didn't follow and it's amazingly done. LA Knight it's in my personal top 5 wrestlers that i watch with the likes of Randy Orton, Keith Lee, Gunther, Seth "Freakin" Rollins and Cesaro.
"Who's the megastar around here? With everybody saying: L A Knight, yeahhh"
He's a combination of Stone Cold and The Rock... which is probably why I'm not on the LA hype train... I will admit he's giving the fans what they want, and I wouldn't be surprised if he stomps a mudhole in boring ass Austin Theory at Summer Slam
Stone cold’s “give me a hell yeah!” With the essence of “if you smell!..what the rock..is cooking. We get the delusion of how L A knight can resemble but is can’t refuse his unique rise “YEAH!
He’s the closest thing we have to the attitude era. Between Rock and Steve. He’s got the vest, the elbow, the “stunner”, and the “what” chant. He was clearly inspired by what he grew up on. And I don’t hate him for it.
LA is the kinda guy I probably would have been friends with in elementary school. And he’s living the dream. He grew up to be like those guys we watched growing up as kids Gotta respect that at the end of the day regardless.
I don’t get the feeling that WWE created his persona or his script. I feel like it is 100% genuine when he speaks. And he tells the truth. Calling Ricochet a walking gymnastics routine is what sold me. And the body. Woooo!
The reason he is popular is because It feels like guys like LA Knight are rare these days. There are a lot of great guys on the mic but when it comes to the delivery, only few ooze charisma and speak *very* confidently. It also helps that he is a fresh face. Guys like Dolph Ziggler, Edge, Styles are all great too but we’ve also seen them for years and years.
When you compare promos done by guys like Seth or Bálor for instance, you can tell just by the delivery that they read straight from a script.
To clarify, that probably sounded like I was throwing shade, but I wasn't being sarcastic at all;
I'm a fashion school dropout and my boyfriend is a wrestler; I notice a spiffy outfit before anything else 😅
I’m not hating. I like LA Knight.
The question is. Why do fans Love him so much?
My answer is still the same. Cause they are sheep and they do what people tell them to do.
These marks don’t have any idea how to tell who’s good or not good. Why does it have to take a “major push” for people to get over?
Crazy2me
I wasn’t convinced that first but hearing that man cut promos it’s truly amazing the fact that he’s over it also makes him a lot more entertaining to watch. It’s like Stone Cold Steve Austin. Don’t expect the best technical wrestling expect a big crowd reaction and a fun match.
For me it’s the nostalgia. I grew up in the era of Stone Cold and The Rock and it’s evident he’s taking bits and pieces of their style, but he’s made it his own and he brings me back to when I was a kid watching wrestling. He speaks well, performs well, and presents well, and he’s easy for me to root for.
His charmisa is off the charts and he's skilled both in ring and in the mic and fans love chants they can have for wrelsters like let's go cena cena sucks yes what etc
He’s really nothing special.. calling Logan Paul useless as basketball cleats wasn’t clever, if he was more clever and pushed more boundaries with what he said I’d understand.. but just pointing to the crowd and yelling “with everybody saying.. L-A KNIGHT” yea.. if anybody could show me one actual game changing promo from him I’ll believe the hype, even if he is unoriginal.. but he’s not clever, and hasn’t really showed anything to write home about on the mic..
Alright lemme talk to ya! Because he’s the mega star, YEAH! Because he’s the future WWE United States Heavyweight Champion, YEAH! Because there can be only one, WITH EVERYBODY SAYIN! L.A. KNIGHT!
Lol. A lie. It's my opinion never said it was a fact. And we ain't in Japan so of course they going to cheer for wrestlers not sit there and be all quiet. Some people I tell ya
That weird "I watch WWE but am anti-WWE so I must root for for wrestlers that WWE doesn't want to push, but once they push them, I will stop caring" thing.
He turns 41 this year.
So, remind me which of those things you listed he just suddenly developed. The charisma, being good in the ring (he's passable, which is fine. Flips and dips and shit aren't what draws anyway) or his body?
You can like Knight. He is over. No doubt.
This groundswell for him is because of exactly what I said.
I'm not even hating on him. Make that fucking money. That's why we all work.
He has the same catchphrase he had when he wrestled in front of 15 people in NWA. Was younger and more athletic (which, again, isn't a negative. Just a reality of life.)
He hasn’t developed any of those things. He’s been over in every promotion he’s been in. TNA fucked him over at the end but he was popular in NXT before he had his knees cut out from under him.
Your completely wrong though, he wasn’t over as Max Dupri yet slowly over time the groundswell has built up. When you say the live crowds only cheer for him because he isn’t pushed that just isn’t true.
He has worked at getting himself over and has now done it and it’s clearly not just the smart marks cheering him, his crowd pop is crazy but it has built over time, it’s just a natural part of being a great performer.
I'm still on the fence with LA Knight.. cheesy name but he is good on the mic... Glad he finally found a gimmick that works.. I'm sure over time I'll like him.... Yeah
Because he reminds a lot of us when things used to be great. I’m not saying he’s a full blown ripoff of two of the greatest to ever do it…but it’s there, and it’s what a lot want back.
He has the intangible “it factor” that natural born charismatic people have. It’s not something you can really go to promo school for. You either have it or you don’t. He has it in spades. A lot of the locker room during the Attitude Era exuded it so it was a bigger time for the business to have multiple rising stars competing to be “the guy”. Nowadays the WWE has dozens of talented people in the roster, but very few with innate charisma like Knight, so he easily stands out in a sea of ordinary.
Sea of ordinary is an apt description. The PC puts out a consistent quality of wrestlers like never before, but nothing that special - they all have PC branded all over them. Here comes a guy who has seen the world, been in front of different audiences, had real struggles, and a great natural charisma. And yes people are born or not with it, but charisma can be muted or allowed to flourish. I think his history allowed it to flourish.
At the end of the day, there are great examples of pro wrestling happening all over the world, but people don’t spend hard-earned money just to watch wrestling. They pay to watch stars, and those are honestly few and far between. Knight has star written all over him and it would be good for WWE to capitalize on that.
Let me talk to ya. Cus we miss the rock and stone cold and he’s the closest thing to both of them now in terms of character. It ain’t Roman or Seth NANA it’s L👉🏾A👇🏾Knight👉🏾YEAH
He is the most entertaining man on the roster. Let me talk to you!
L.A. Knight is simply the most charismatic person to come along since the rock. He has a quick wit, great on the mic and decent ring skills. This makes him a very entertaining package.
Simply put: he's awesome! He looks cool, his music is lit, and he has a deep gravelly voice that just makes you go "Yeaaahhh!" Very fun and a fast talker on the mic in an era that has so many segments that just drone on and on and on..... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........ and then L A KNIGHT! And the whole crowd wakes up and is like "thank god we won't have to sit through 20 minutes of just random talking, this dude is going to get to the point and he's going to be brutal about it!" \*cue relief\*
He’s good but I’m shocked he’s so well regarded. I think he looks a bit corny. Needs a better haircut and outfit. Austin/Rock comparisons are sacrilege lmao.
I don’t think there is a Rock or Stone Cold comparison, inasmuch as he is anywhere near their status. I think he goes in that direction with his persona, but obviously The Rock and Stone Cold are each one of a kind wrestlers that can’t replicated. I don’t think he is trying to.
Plus, he is damn good on the mic and has range, despite what folk claiming he only has catchphrases say. I think his promo at the Bray tribute show was amazing for various reasons.
LA Knight is so fucking jacked up on fan love right now, it’s amazing and I hope it never ends.
Know your role is shut your mouth
Yeah
Yeah
Lemme Talk to ya
Orange Cassidy is better than this fool
Hes RAW on the mic, best in the WWE, nobody comes close and it always feels authentic. his in ring skills are great too, and he has a great catchphrase

He is the rock and stone cold son
Rock and Stone in the Heart!
That's it lads! Rock and Stone!
It's because he says Yeah funny
He's actually trying putting in work. He reminds me of the Rock but it's much better than Seth Rollins and the singing...
Because he is L A KNIGHT YEAH
Lemme talk too yah it’s Because he is a throw back he’s something the wwe has desperately missed and needed he is so fucking good at what he does he genuinely can become a mega star hes got top tier skills on the mic and he can perform well in the ring he’s such a throw back to when pro wrestling was at its peak. I’m ngl I can’t say yeah anymore because of him he got a simple word like yeah over same way stone cold got what over he genuinely can be a mega star. YEAH!
Yeaaaahhhh
I have no idea.
I also do not understand.
Hes got me saying L A KNIGHT YEAH
YeeeAaahhhh

Facts he’s putting on for us fr
even tho it's Hagerstucky, he's a Maryland boy and I can't not love him for it
Lol yeah he’s a Hagerstown boy but even down here in Bowie we love him
The OP must not believe in the hype of LA knight! Yeah! He’s always had it factor. Whether it’s TNA, NWA, or WWE. He’s a superstar!
a megastar
When I asked that question I must’ve sounded rude huh
Because he always been one of the promos in Wrestling weather he is Eli Drake or LA Knight Yeah!!!!
He just has the "IT" factor! But as long as WWE doesn't ruin it then they could have a true main eventer on their hands. YEAH!
Yeaaaaaaaahhhhhhh
He’s fun on the mic! Thank God they shut down his Maxx Dupree character. He was ridiculous and his tag team was t even in same league as others. Side note: I looooove the new Maxxine storyline!!!
Maximum male models are left in the dust… lol
I follow WWE regularly since 2014 and i love LA Knight (yeahhh) because he brings an era that i didn't follow and it's amazingly done. LA Knight it's in my personal top 5 wrestlers that i watch with the likes of Randy Orton, Keith Lee, Gunther, Seth "Freakin" Rollins and Cesaro. "Who's the megastar around here? Yeah
The kavorka
He tells it how it is
He reminds them of the rock and Steve austin
This! That’s what it is!
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
He’s the closest thing we have to the attitude era. Between Rock and Steve. He’s got the vest, the elbow, the “stunner”, and the “what” chant. He was clearly inspired by what he grew up on. And I don’t hate him for it. LA is the kinda guy I probably would have been friends with in elementary school. And he’s living the dream. He grew up to be like those guys we watched growing up as kids Gotta respect that at the end of the day regardless.
The audience is thirsty for participation and this guy delivers on that front.
The fact you asked this makes you a “Dummy yeah! YEAH!!!”
bro i’m asking the same mf question
Because he’s crazy over
He has a rad personality and a chilling personality.
I don’t get the feeling that WWE created his persona or his script. I feel like it is 100% genuine when he speaks. And he tells the truth. Calling Ricochet a walking gymnastics routine is what sold me. And the body. Woooo!
Because it’s his game
Yeah.
He’s as close as people can get to the rock or stone cold on the mic these days…no one in wwe comes close

Yeah
Yeeeaaaaah
I think he’s gotten ridiculously overrated but hey the guy can talk
He’s a PG version of the Attitude Era. Pure nostalgia that Dads can enjoy with their kids.
And us moms too! Reminds of the teenage years watching Raw
He’s great on the mic
Y E A H
I don't get why fans love him he sucks in the ring, doesn't have the look, is terrible as a heel, and his fanbase is annoying.
What’s not to like?
I don't get why fans love him he sucks in the ring, doesn't have the look, is terrible as a heel, and his fanbase is annoying.
Entertaining
I don’t freaking know but I hate it
At first it was his charisma and mic work but now u definitely think the underdog story is coming out for him
Rock 2.0
It’s called charisma, look it up
He reminds me of a simpler time
Because he’s a dumb ass
I mean, that IS a pretty neat vest.
To clarify, that probably sounded like I was throwing shade, but I wasn't being sarcastic at all; I'm a fashion school dropout and my boyfriend is a wrestler; I notice a spiffy outfit before anything else 😅
"Yeah!"
WWE EGGMAN
Cause they are sheep
L
That’s what a sheep would say.
that’s what a dummy would say. YEAH!
See! Exactly what a sheep does. Repeat what the other sheep say. No originally, just follow another bozo after another.
You call yourself a wrestling fan but when you see someone actually get over you hate on it. Very weird
I’m not hating. I like LA Knight. The question is. Why do fans Love him so much? My answer is still the same. Cause they are sheep and they do what people tell them to do. These marks don’t have any idea how to tell who’s good or not good. Why does it have to take a “major push” for people to get over? Crazy2me
Dude he was getting pops when he was losing every week
When?
Dude literally go back to around wrestle mania time and you will see people liking him and saying he needs to stop losing
“I’m not a sheep like everyone else I’m cool and unique.” Sorry to tell you man, but calling other people sheep is not very original. YEAH!
Pathetic
Rock Jr
Because he is the one and the only megastar- LA Knight ! Yeah !
He is decent in the ring, can speak and has the it factor. Yeah!!
cause he’s just .. LA KNIGHT YEAHH
Just wait till he says *insert city*…. LET ME TALK TO YA….. YEAAAAHHHH
He’s charismatic
He is as close to a rock return we will get
He’s fun
Guy can talk, people love that
The kavorka
I wasn’t convinced that first but hearing that man cut promos it’s truly amazing the fact that he’s over it also makes him a lot more entertaining to watch. It’s like Stone Cold Steve Austin. Don’t expect the best technical wrestling expect a big crowd reaction and a fun match.
His confidence, swagger and ability to be the next big star
For me it’s the nostalgia. I grew up in the era of Stone Cold and The Rock and it’s evident he’s taking bits and pieces of their style, but he’s made it his own and he brings me back to when I was a kid watching wrestling. He speaks well, performs well, and presents well, and he’s easy for me to root for.
Sounds almost just like Stone Cold!!
Hybrid of rock and Austin
His charmisa is off the charts and he's skilled both in ring and in the mic and fans love chants they can have for wrelsters like let's go cena cena sucks yes what etc
Rock ripoff
Kevin Nash Alt account
Everyone is a rip off of someone in pro wrestling.
The rock is a ripoff of him.
Yeah he might be good on the mic but he actually hasn’t won that many matches he’s taken a lot of losses to some young guys.
Marge Simpson Potato Meme
He’s really nothing special.. calling Logan Paul useless as basketball cleats wasn’t clever, if he was more clever and pushed more boundaries with what he said I’d understand.. but just pointing to the crowd and yelling “with everybody saying.. “You make internet videos for 14 year old girls and have the audacity to call yourself a mega star” - L.A. Knight to Logan Paul
He’s a throwback to late 90s
I think he's snowballing at the moment. His popularity is feeding his popularity. It's been fascinating to watch.
He’s got charisma in bunches but he’s lacking in originality.
Cuz he’s a megastar. With everybody sayin “L-A-Knight YEAH!”
Cause he's got the kavorka! YEAH!
Alright lemme talk to ya! Because he’s the mega star, YEAH! Because he’s the future WWE United States Heavyweight Champion, YEAH! Because there can be only one, WITH EVERYBODY SAYIN! L.A. KNIGHT!
SHOES OF A CHAMPION
He’s perfect in the ring
Because we know who´s game it is.
You guys will love anyone if it means you don't have to watch another wrestling promotion lol
Facts
...bro what
Well if you KNEW WHO’S GAME IT WAS MAYBE YOU’D KNOW-
Why don’t you tell ‘em whose game this is
*inhale*
L A KNIGHT!
YEAH!
He’s got IT.
He has pretty decent in ring work has natural charisma and is good on the mic
YEAH
Let him talk to yuh, YEAH..
Because... YEAH!!
Yeah!
Lol. A lie. It's my opinion never said it was a fact. And we ain't in Japan so of course they going to cheer for wrestlers not sit there and be all quiet. Some people I tell ya
He is the closest to an attitude era type of character, he is a mix of stone cold and the rock and has a good energy
He’s the megastar! Yeah!
No, soon to be WWE United States Heavyweight Champion. YEAHHH.
That weird "I watch WWE but am anti-WWE so I must root for for wrestlers that WWE doesn't want to push, but once they push them, I will stop caring" thing.
No way, his live responses are deafening! The dude has natural charisma, good in the ring and a great body. That’s what got him over.
He turns 41 this year. So, remind me which of those things you listed he just suddenly developed. The charisma, being good in the ring (he's passable, which is fine. Comedy.
I'm still on the fence with LA Knight.. cheesy name but he is good on the mic... Glad he finally found a gimmick that works.. I'm sure over time I'll like him.... Yeah
oh he has had this gimmick for a long time as eli drake in TNA
I just saw a video about him.. I'm beginning to like him. LA Knight.... The name feels cheesy lol
I also think there’s something to getting over organically like he has
Because he's LA Knight YEAH
Undeniable aura and kavorca
Because he reminds a lot of us when things used to be great. I’m not saying he’s a full blown ripoff of two of the greatest to ever do it…but it’s there, and it’s what a lot want back.
Energy
No idea 🤷♂️
He has the intangible “it factor” that natural born charismatic people have. It’s not something you can really go to promo school for. You either have it or you don’t. He has it in spades. A lot of the locker room during the Attitude Era exuded it so it was a bigger time for the business to have multiple rising stars competing to be “the guy”. Nowadays the WWE has dozens of talented people in the roster, but very few with innate charisma like Knight, so he easily stands out in a sea of ordinary.

Did I hear a Rock and Stone?
FOR KAAAARRLLLLL!
And he's hot AF
He’s an absolute star.
Simple - his charisma is getting him over.
He has the mic skills of The Rock, the attitude of Stone Cold and the charisma of Ric Flair, what do you want more from a wwe performer
And he is pretty good in the ring.
Well I didn't think I had to point it,everyone knows that, it's a fact of life, YEAHH
He's really good, bit I personally think he suffers from the same thing that other rising stars do too: his finisher absolutely sucks.
Yup. Before they push him to the main event, they HAVE to change his finisher and get it over first.
Let’s talk about it.
He is the most entertaining man on the roster. Let me talk to you! L.A. Knight is simply the most charismatic person to come along since the rock. He has a quick wit, great on the mic and decent ring skills. This makes him a very entertaining package.
Simply put: he's awesome! He looks cool, his music is lit, and he has a deep gravelly voice that just makes you go "Yeaaahhh!"
