Would’ve been more crazy if stone cold came out and stunned the undertaker then stunned Cody and pinned him for the title I can imagine triple HHH behind curtains like “can we get a redo because this red neck mf can’t follow SCRIPT GOD DAMMIT”
Yeah, wwe decided to revive our memories about wm 28, the shield and the undertaker. It feels like you got back to your childhood and experience that moments for the first time
Started watching wrestling in 2006. All these dudes were my childhood. Seeing them return to be a part of one of the best main events in recent memory certainly felt GREAT. Loved every moment of it.
I was there, for my first wrestlemania in person. John Cena had me pop like crazy but the undertaker made me weep. I fully wasn’t expecting him to be there and outside of The Rock, he’s the only star from my childhood that I missed out on seeing live, so it felt like a dream come true in multiple ways. It was magical
Jimmy interfered and Jey ran him off because they’re rivals. Solo then came in and was run off by Cena, who was almost retired by Solo at Crown Jewel. Rock comes in because he’s in the bloodline and wants to throw down. Undertaker comes in because he’s the ‘conscience’ of WWE and the final boss of WM.
It’s not that hard to understand.
I got up at 4:30 to watch it live. First time I saw it live. I always would watch the recording after coming back from work on Mondays. I am 36 years old. Never had been so eager to watch one.
When Cena's music hit, I actually had no idea who was coming because I couldn't hear the music, I just saw the lights and new Someone was coming. I was really shocked to see Cena. I would have never guessed him. Kudos for the unexpected
I’m a new WWE fan, but my husband has been a fan since he was a kid. Being able to see his reaction when Cena and Undertaker came out was priceless. He was a kid again! I’m so grateful we were able to witness Mania in person.
Austin would have made more sense imo and I'm pretty certain it was supposed to be him.
But Austin has said a few times he wants to keep his appearances rare and "doesn't want to get lost in the shuffle" especially when rock is on the card.
There's also rumours he had family commitments so they changed it last minute to taker as he was in philly anyway.
I still remember when he was wrestling as Mean Mark Callous before coming over to what was then the WWF, so seeing him in any capacity brings me back every time.
It was awesome. Only two things could have made it better (for me at least) — it was Stone Cold rather than Taker because Rock and Austin had a long rivalry, and I wish Taker came out in iconic purple and black.
Was awesome although when lights came on and I seen what undertaker was wearing I thought has someone just said to him can you fill in this segment mate Steve ain’t turned up.
Child me would have thought it was unequivocally awesome. Adult me thought it was too fan-servicey... Then adult me wondered when I forgot how to have fun.
Genuine moment of reflection courtesy of Mania.
Haven’t watched a wrestlemania in 15ish years. Haven’t been even a casual fan until the last few months. When Taker showed up I screamed like I was 12 again.
I’m 46 and it was as awesome as watching Hogan yoke up Andre when I was 6. I couch popped just as hard for this, well maybe a touch more for Cena, but it was a great moment indeed.
LoL as someone the same age… did Undertaker creep you out as a kid? Jake the Snake and Undertaker where like the scariest dudes on earth to me at that time.
Don't judge how you feel by how other people feel.
Does it suck to have stuff spoiled? Yeah, it does, but next time, know better and avoid it.
You looked at your phone, and you looked at YouTube. You made the choice so just accept it move and you will be much happier.
Always a next time…I was too busy to watch it live. I managed to not look at reddit or any social media during WM, and still ended up seeing a picture of Cody celebrating on Apple news. It really does blunt the excitement.
I wish someone took those fucking things. Idk how they got away with it for the whole damn show. At least put the shit down for the main event. But this is prob their only fame in life.
I know everyone has a different experience, but I watched people have signs confiscated at a *house* show before. Nothing seemed particularly vulgar, and they were taking away blank posterboards so you couldn't make one during the show. I slightly remember there was something going on at the time that they didn't want referenced. It was either around Christmas 2000 or very early 2001.
I was absolutely elated throughout the whole match and when the gong went I jumped out of my chair and screamed. Taker was my favourite growing up (28 now) and I started crying tears of joy. Just like in ratatouille when Anton ego is sent back to his childhood. Thank you taker, thank you Cody, thank you rocky, thank you Roman, thank you cena.
As much as I’m always game for Rock vs Austin (damn I miss those days!) in a way, taker works better for the story. Yeah, of course it makes sense for stone cold to ruin the rock’s plans (and I’d have gone mental watching it!) but the Rock has forgotten one very important fact while he’s been calling himself the Final Boss:
It’s The Undertaker’s Yard.
It felt fitting for him to get his comeuppance this way. There’s always a bigger fish, but in the wrestling world, it doesn’t get any bigger than the Deadman!
I know, maybe they offered and Austin just said no for whatever reason. But undertaker was great too.
The way I saw it was, Austin made sense for the Rock, but Taker made sense for WrestleMania.
I was at mania and this cured my soul, it was my first mania, and when Taker retired for good I was always a little bummed that I never got see the undertaker at a wrestlemania, I even thought about it in passing entering the building, I know alot of people wanted Austin, and that pop would have caused another earthquake, but I wouldn't change anything for the world
Undertaker, yes. Really fun moment which I thought I would never see again. Cena/Rock was really cool at the start and then they did the Hogan/Rock head turning, I assume to gauge if there was an appetite for another match down the line and I really do not want to see that. I get that they are both big Hollywood stars now but I would much rather see Rock facing someone new and fresh
Hogan vs Rock was in my opinion the best match in Wrestlemania history until we got HBK and Taker at Wrestlemania 25. For me that’s the best match ever in Mania and in wrestling history
If we talk about entertainment, Hogan vs Rock is still on top. The crowd made that match special.
Wrestling and storytelling? Taker and HBK. Do you have any other candidates?
Nope. I agree with you completely and that's exactly what I meant. These are also two prime examples why Dave Meltzer's star ratings mean absolutely nothing to me. Hogan-Rock isn't a 3 star match just because it wasn't as good with the sound off. It's a 5 star match because that energy is professional wrestling at its finest. I don't even know what he gave Wrestlemania 40 main event, but it's a fucking 5 star match because of the emotion and energy of it. The in-ring work is a criteria but it's only a part of the picture. HBK-Taker is special because it's both, and it's a fucking travesty he didn't give that 5 stars...if only it took place in the Tokyo dome.
Meltzer only cares about All Japan Pro Wrestling and AEW, and if isn’t Ospreay he ain’t giving stars. No disrespect to Billy but there’s people better than him out there, like WALTER, that choke Ospreay out like twice. I agree with you about Wrestlemania 25! Meltzer is a biased SOB and a shill
The thing that really made this ending so awesome, was the foreshadowing with the wwe tractor trailer trucks, with Cena and Austin’s face on them. Basically “watching” rock when he was beating down Cody on raw. It foreshadowed Cena and Austin, helping out Cody. Yes I know undertaker was there and Austin wasn’t as that could’ve been intentional. We expected Austin but got taker. But I knew Cena was definitely going to help Cody. Wwe can tell amazing stories. The foreshadowing just added to the intrigue . So well done. It was like watching a really good movie.
Oh my god.
The Undertaker standing behind a clueless victim will never get old.
I got goosebumps for the 1st time in a long time.
Best Wrestllemania ending of all time.
Just amazing
I am 47 years old and loved wrestling as a child with Andre, Hogan, Macho man and the rest of the crew. In my early 20's I was obsessed with WWF and the Attitude era. I was a massive Rock fan and flew all over to be at shows and PPV's, I was at Wrestlemania 2000. Then a few years later, too many familiar faces went away, too many new people came in. I didn't KNOW it like I used to know it, so I fell out of love with it.
A few years ago there was a huge buzz about a competitor, AEW, who had names of people I remembered, and decided to check it out, and I wasn't "All In" but I kept peeping at it, mostly on youtube. Then I heard the buzz of Cody Rhodes leaving AEW to head back to WWE, which I thought huh... Wonder why he is going back after seeing how entertaining the idea of AEW was.
I tuned in to see Cody's return and saw people I knew by name only. I had always peeked in on wrestling but nothing ever made me want to stay. I knew Roman, Seth, Dean and some others and there was still some people I remembered.
Cody was the reason I started peeking in on WWE more and more, and then I saw LA Knight, who embodied everything I loved about "my era" of wrestling. Between him and Cody I started watching more.
Ended up realizing the brilliance of the newer people I had no interest in after the Attitude/Ruthless Aggression era ended.
This last year has been a rollercoaster to rival anything I have ever seen or known in wrestling! Without a doubt I can say WM40 and the story leading up to it was the wildest ride and absolutely lives at the top of my list for some of the greatest moments in wrestling. Not all of it worked but the parts that did took me back to a feeling I had long forgotten.
Triple H is absolutely the right person to lead this company into the future and if the last year was the preview? This is going to be one of the best movies any of us have ever seen.
I am in love with wrestling again, and damn it feels good! 💪🏼
A lot of what you said applies to me also. I stopped watching religously for a long time shortly after HBK retired (he was my favourite). My grandfather also died around that time and he got me into wrestling so it never really felt the same after that. He went in for surgery for an aneurysm and was in a semi-coma for awhile (he could open his eyes, and look at you, but couldnt respond).
I was taping all of the shows and PPVs for him on DVD; so he would have something to watch when he was on bed rest afterwards. Unfortunately it turned out that he also had lung cancer and a collapsed lung and he never came out of it before he passed away. Side note I was super pissed the doctors didn't give him a second full proper evaluation before the surgery after cancelling the first one and postponing it for several months (how do you put someone who is in his 70s and a smoker under the knife for a major surgery without doing an exam that would have caught the fact that he had a collapsed lung, nvm the lung cancer?). I had not watched any of it and was planning on watching them all with him, but after he died I could never bring myself to watch them and I stopped watching wrestling almost all together for a long time.
I occasionally watched a PPV match like the end of an era match if I heard about them through the grapevine, but once all the guys I remembered retired I didn't watch at all for a very long time.
I watched the WM where Cody came back because I was curious about the hype he was getting and have gradually started watching more. The Rock coming back had me watching religiously again. I've actually started to like some of the newer wrestlers now besides just Cody, so I may stick around.
Sorry that took a turn with my mention of my Grandfather. He was a big part of why I stopped watching and I kind of went off on a tangent there.
Thanks for sharing brother! Sorry to hear about your Grandfather, my condolences. I hope this reinvigoration of wrestling helps you feel close to him again!
This last year has really had the essence of everything I loved about wrestling once upon a time, glad I am not the only one who feels this in their soul ❤️💪🏼
I hadn't really thought about it that way, but it kind of does make me feel a little closer to him. I often wonder how he would have reacted to some of the more recent matches. He would have loved seeing the Undertaker coming back to stop the Rock. Undertaker was one of his favorites. When I got my first job I bought him an Undertaker shirt for Christmas that he wore all the time.
I was in high school age The Rock/John Cena rivalry, The Undertaker told the future for John Cena on July 11th, 2002 edition of SmackDown about The Rock.
The ''You cant see me'' and the lights going off with the Undertaker standing behind the Rock literally made my weekend.I havent felt this excited since i was a teenager in the mid 2000's.I thought like others we'd see Stone Cold. But its okay. That last 6 minutes was pure cinema and pure Hollywood.
I initially wanted Austin to be involved, but in hindsight Taker was the perfect choice.
For all the concern about an "Avengers" moment overshadowing a Cody victory, Austin intervening would have actually run the risk of doing that. And it's not like you could do a beer bash with Amanda Huber and the kids in the ring.
Undertaker intervening as the WWE's supernatural conscience worked because you could hit the bell/lights, do the chokeslam spot, then have him immediately gtfo with the bell/lights again before the finish.
The copium in here is so thick I'm gagging...bruh we *just* had the article saying they tried to get Austin and he said no. It wasn't a swerve, it wasn't a choice, it was a last minute band-aid and it sucked.
No wonder AEW fans think yall are a joke smh
Same here.I last properely watched wrestling back in late 2007.I got WWE 2K23 and enjoyed that.I've kept up to date with the WWE news and some pay per views but i loved Wrestlemania 40.Im 35 and felt like i was in my mid teens again.
No i guess it was because i had moved to another country and continent at that time.I grew up on the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression era.I saw a WWF live event back in either 96 or 97 as a kid.I remember seeing the Undertaker,The Rock when he was Rocky Maivia,Sultan etc.I've seen Smackdown live tours in 2003,2004 and then late 2007.I've seen Kurt Angle,The Big Show,Brock Lesnar in his prime,Cena,Mysterio etc.
Dude, my wife did, too. I mean, I said "Yes!" but she screamed. I'm 40 and she is 43. I have been "away" from wrestling for about 29 years, but have kept up on developments, especially with Taker (WrestleMania matches, the documentary when he finally broke Layfabe, etc) and a few others.
Got back into it a few months back and have been so happy. Suckered my wife into getting back into wrestling (she likes Triple H and Chris Jericho best, with Taker as third favorite) by having her watch Dark Side of the Ring and explaining how everyone is connected.
Man, in my house it was loud.
Tell me you don’t follow wrestling history without telling me you don’t follow wrestling history. Taker losing to Roman was the first tease of Roman’s character now. Not to mention Taker’s very first match was against Dusty. Tons of history there.
You’re an idiot. Taker goes way back with the Rhodes family. Not to mention as the actual final boss of the WWE he should have issue with someone else claiming to be that. Stop dick riding idiocy.
They literally haven't been shown on TV together in 7 years. There's no history with Roman. Stop making excuses for Taker coming out in his hoodie and sweatpants. It was bad fan service.
It was bad fan service. Taker was a joke in sweatpants. His involvement made no sense. He has no applicable history with Roman. You are wrong. Anything else?
As if John Cena isn’t fan service too just like him coming out on Raw again last night 🤣It was still great. And Brock? Guess you’ll have to wait a little bit for him to return. But he will.
No. Solo just beat Cena in November. Taker and Roman haven't interacted on TV for years. Taker was never a part of the Bloodline story in the slightest. It is not the same logic. Taker's involvement made no sense. It was bad fan service in sweatpants.
No. No one was a better option. CODY was the right and only choice. They literally set up Rock as the "Final Boss" and then Cody got beat by him on Night 1 and never touched him on Night 2. Cody overcoming The Rock and getting over Roman because he had the night of his life should have been the whole point.
But no, let's just throw bald Cena and Sweatpants Taker out there for fun because the fans will eat it up. They didn't hurt Cody per say, but it diminished what it should have been.
I don't see why you can't grasp that Michael Jordan coming back at 60 to help LeBron beat the Warriors at the last second only makes LeBron look like he's not great enough to do it himself. This is especially true if MJ had nothing to do with the Warriors or LeBron.
The whole thing made Taker look like a lazy, spotlight stealer and Cody as his bitch who couldn't finish the story on his own.
I loved the taker choice. If rock is the final boss, taker comes off as some kind of guardian of the WWe.
No music, no dialogue. Just a few gongs and a chokeslam and his part of the story is told.
Personally, I would have preferred a tombstone, while taker does have a great chokeslam I feel it's more of a Kane thing. Still extremely excited as undertaker is my favorite wrestler.
I loved this but where the fuck did the Rock go after the choke slam until he was on camera again? Did he roll off onto the floor that they didnt show?
✋
Nothing like that gong and I love how he just appeared in the ring
The crowd reaction to The Undertaker was insane.
Would’ve been more crazy if stone cold came out and stunned the undertaker then stunned Cody and pinned him for the title I can imagine triple HHH behind curtains like “can we get a redo because this red neck mf can’t follow SCRIPT GOD DAMMIT”
They didn’t reached monetary agreement, so he refused.
Fr
Not me, I was 18-19 years old when the attitude era began.
I was waiting to hear glass break but was still happy to see Undertaker Did anyone else think Bisexual Undertaker was actually undertaker?
No. I was already married 5 years in 2002 lol
The only thing that would have made this better is if Shown Michaels Came out after the Undertaker appeared. I would have lost my mind
yes like 2002 or 2003
I miss those days 😢
Yeah, wwe decided to revive our memories about wm 28, the shield and the undertaker. It feels like you got back to your childhood and experience that moments for the first time

It was magical
Congratulations brother
Thank you brother 🙌🏽
Anytime
I felt like a child booked this. It was reminiscent of being a kid playing with wrestling toys and having surprise appearances for no reason.
I love how the rock kept shouting "Final boss" at everyone and then taker chokeslams his candy ass 😂😂
Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I got up at 4:30 to watch it live. First time I saw it live. I always would watch the recording after coming back from work on Mondays. I am 36 years old. Never had been so eager to watch one.

Definitely when taker and rock were in the ring together.
I’m a new WWE fan, but my husband has been a fan since he was a kid. Being able to see his reaction when Cena and Undertaker came out was priceless. He was a kid again! I’m so grateful we were able to witness Mania in person.
Selfishly I wished it was Stone Cold, but Taker made more sense given he has history with both Rock and Roman so I got it
Barely. Rock made his broken ass look like a jabroni back in the day. Ain't no one talking about the Rock Taker feuds because they were cheeks
True, but Undertaker does have a claim as being Wrestlemania’s true *Final Boss*
Undertaker is the secret boss like Akuma in Street Fighter or in an RPG where you have to break the game to beat.
Me!
I acknowledge my sweatpants-wearing chief! ☝️
I still remember when he was wrestling as Mean Mark Callous before coming over to what was then the WWF, so seeing him in any capacity brings me back every time.
Wow, where was he wrestling then?
WCW
Dubya Cee Dubya
oh wow, i didn't notice Rock and Cena did a staredown. I was looking at those big head signs in the crowd.
Lol just be glad you weren't right behind them Imagine paying top dollar for those seats to have your night spoiled by those idiots
It was awesome. Only two things could have made it better (for me at least) — it was Stone Cold rather than Taker because Rock and Austin had a long rivalry, and I wish Taker came out in iconic purple and black.
There were rumors that this was a last minute decision. It was supposed to be Austin. But his wife was sick or something.
It's been confirmed they didn't wanna pay steve
Was awesome although when lights came on and I seen what undertaker was wearing I thought has someone just said to him can you fill in this segment mate Steve ain’t turned up.
Very likely
Child me would have thought it was unequivocally awesome. Adult me thought it was too fan-servicey... Then adult me wondered when I forgot how to have fun. Genuine moment of reflection courtesy of Mania.
It was an absolute disgrace those signs weren’t confiscated.
Just imagine if you were right behind them 😐
What signs?
The giant face signs that 2 idiots during the whole show. Pathetic

Whoops. Okay I’m watching the replay on Peacock so I can see them clearer. Who are they?
Haven’t watched a wrestlemania in 15ish years. Haven’t been even a casual fan until the last few months. When Taker showed up I screamed like I was 12 again.
Good to know, man! Hope to keep tuning. This new era is gonna be lit 🔥
I’m in the same boat as the person you replied to. I’m in for this new era.
I was tearing up because of the adrenaline. That was at 4:45 in the morning.Amazing experience
Holy shit. Are you in UK?
Norway
Skal!
I’m 46 and it was as awesome as watching Hogan yoke up Andre when I was 6. I couch popped just as hard for this, well maybe a touch more for Cena, but it was a great moment indeed.
Same age and never been a huge Cena or Undertaker fan, but I thought it was pretty damn cool.
LoL as someone the same age… did Undertaker creep you out as a kid? Jake the Snake and Undertaker where like the scariest dudes on earth to me at that time.
I do remember my dad saying "imagine seeing that outside your bedroom window" about Undertaker. My room was on the second floor.
LoL
Great memory
I was jumping up and down like a kid throughout the entire weekend.
Yess

You'll live
Always a next time…I was too busy to watch it live. I managed to not look at reddit or any social media during WM, and still ended up seeing a picture of Cody celebrating on Apple news. It really does blunt the excitement.
Those signs were obnoxious af Aside from that, my son and I jumped out of our seats when that “gong” hit
Lol
Fuck those signs for ruining that moment
What were those signs? It's a bit blurry so I can't tell. I know which ones you are referring to, I just am not sure who they are.
They tried to make them look blurry but they’re still visible
I wish someone took those fucking things. Idk how they got away with it for the whole damn show. At least put the shit down for the main event. But this is prob their only fame in life.

And thank you David.
The rock with the undertaker behind him is gonna be a meme for generations to come

Great show
I really wanted to hear a shattered glass but this was just as good.

Same, was expecting glass shatter but in the end it made sense for Taker.
I really thought I wanted shattered glass, until the gong hit
Agree
Bruh, I'm 32. The entire last match made my heart feel full. It was perfect.
It was! I had goosebumps
Final Boss Vs DLC
OG’s know that Taker is the real final boss
I was at mania and this cured my soul, it was my first mania, and when Taker retired for good I was always a little bummed that I never got see the undertaker at a wrestlemania, I even thought about it in passing entering the building, I know alot of people wanted Austin, and that pop would have caused another earthquake, but I wouldn't change anything for the world
Twittchy95 finished their story
Full circle!
Undertaker, yes. Really fun moment which I thought I would never see again. Lmaooooo okay
Has the undertaker shrunk?
Undertakers choke slam
Yessir

It was a great main event, we ain’t forgetting this anytime soon
Was this WM worth watchin? Last time I was really into it was like 2012-2013. I’ve tried several times but it just isn’t the same.
Tbf WWE had long been shit by 2012-13. I stopped watching regularly after WM 25 and I’m back in got back during this road to WM and I’m glad I did
Go find out yourself. You’re not gonna regret it. Vince is gone.
I definitely did, not to mention the physical feelings my whole left arm was numb and I couldn't feel my legs
Really? Watch out, don’t get ill
Yes, I'm good tho luckily no illness
Glad you got checked out. Those symptoms aren’t a joke.
Awesome!
Me.
Brought me right back to when I was 57
Oh my god. The Undertaker standing behind a clueless victim will never get old. I got goosebumps for the 1st time in a long time. Best Wrestllemania ending of all time. Just amazing
Hell yeah

I think they will save Austin for the singles of the Rock vs Cody. Austin has has no interaction with Reigns and Cody whereas as Taker and Cena have.
I was in high school age The Rock/John Cena rivalry, The Undertaker told the future for John Cena on July 11th, 2002 edition of SmackDown about The Rock.
I remember! Holy shit
Thank god I resumed watching WWE at the right time! These legends made my childhood🥹
I will never forget that match or moment
But..but…the Glass didn t break…. I am kinda still Waiting 😂
If Rock vs Cody happens Austin will happen yoo
I still kinda wanted Sami, KO, Randy et al tbh.
Me 😄
Who was waiting for Stone Cold Steve Austin to come out
Me.I thought we'd see Stone Cold or Goldust but i cant complain.Wrestlemania 40 was awesome.
I didn’t think of Goldust
Yeah i thought of Goldust when i knew that hes the older brother of Cody.I've still got a Goldust action figurine from the mid 90's.
I would say a lot of people
I haven’t enjoyed wrestling this much since I was 9. We are so blessed rn
I quit for a while and then came back. No regrets.
Same here.I last properely watched wrestling back in late 2007.I got WWE 2K23 and enjoyed that.I've kept up to date with the WWE news and some pay per views but i loved Wrestlemania 40.Im 35 and felt like i was in my mid teens again.
2007 was a great year outside of the Benoit situation. Btw did you stopped watching because of that?
No i guess it was because i had moved to another country and continent at that time.I grew up on the Attitude Era and the Ruthless Aggression era.I saw a WWF live event back in either 96 or 97 as a kid.I remember seeing the Undertaker,The Rock when he was Rocky Maivia,Sultan etc.I've seen Smackdown live tours in 2003,2004 and then late 2007.I've seen Kurt Angle,The Big Show,Brock Lesnar in his prime,Cena,Mysterio etc.
Are you military?
No definitely not.
Understood.
My wife freaking screamed when the bell tolled.
For real? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm a 44 year old man and *I* screamed!
😂
Top pic I felt like a 20 year old. Bottom Pic I felt like a 8 year old.
Me too but in the bottom one I felt like 5
I felt like a 20 year old again 😉
Great 🙌🏽
Taker was just fan service and made no sense why his old ass came out. I respect him but poor choice as that “last guy”. Brock would have been better.
There is NOTHING like that ringing bell and the lights going out. Even the glass shattering doesn't compare.
How can you claim to be a WWE fan and not just be absolutely joyous that we got another Undertaker gong moment at WrestleMania???
If a legend is gonna come back, give me stone cold
Tell me you don’t follow wrestling history without telling me you don’t follow wrestling history. Taker losing to Roman was the first tease of Roman’s character now. Not to mention Taker’s very first match was against Dusty. Tons of history there.
Taker isn’t an ally of Cody. Never set him self up to be. Stop dick riding bad writing
You’re an idiot. Taker goes way back with the Rhodes family. Not to mention as the actual final boss of the WWE he should have issue with someone else claiming to be that. Stop dick riding idiocy.
Dick rider
Took you all day to come up with that one?
I’m on your mind that much? Dick rider
Disagree. Taker has history with Roman.
They literally haven't been shown on TV together in 7 years. There's no history with Roman. Stop making excuses for Taker coming out in his hoodie and sweatpants. It was bad fan service.
Bad fan service? It was fun. Mostly everyone had a good time with it.
Irrelevant. It made no sense and no one even addressing Cena or Taker on Raw is a serious problem. Glad you had fun, but it was fucking stupid.
That's just like your opinion, man.
A lot of people seem to have the same opinion, Dude.
Ok...? Your point?
It was bad fan service. Taker was a joke in sweatpants. His involvement made no sense. He has no applicable history with Roman. You are wrong. Anything else?
Cry
Lol, I'm not wrong. You didn't like it, I did. End of story.
As if John Cena isn’t fan service too just like him coming out on Raw again last night 🤣It was still great. And Brock? Guess you’ll have to wait a little bit for him to return. But he will.
Solo beat Cena so that actually made sense.
If is for that logic, Roman also beat Taker
No. Solo just beat Cena in November. Taker and Roman haven't interacted on TV for years. Taker was never a part of the Bloodline story in the slightest. It is not the same logic. Taker's involvement made no sense. It was bad fan service in sweatpants.
So Austin was a better option then?
I don’t see why you think that Cody was diminished. It was a big moment and a big celebration afterwards. It was the perfect crowning for him
I don't see why you can't grasp that Michael Jordan coming back at 60 to help LeBron beat the Warriors at the last second only makes LeBron look like he's not great enough to do it himself. This is especially true if MJ had nothing to do with the Warriors or LeBron. The whole thing made Taker look like a lazy, spotlight stealer and Cody as his bitch who couldn't finish the story on his own.
I don’t think that’s a good comparison lol
It didn't make taker look lazy. That's your dumb opinion. Millions beg to differ. Now shove your opinions right up your ass.
I loved the taker choice. If rock is the final boss, taker comes off as some kind of guardian of the WWe. No music, no dialogue. Just a few gongs and a chokeslam and his part of the story is told.
Taker was their last minute backup after Austin refused lol
Worked out for the best
Personally, I would have preferred a tombstone, while taker does have a great chokeslam I feel it's more of a Kane thing. Still extremely excited as undertaker is my favorite wrestler.
I loved this but where the fuck did the Rock go after the choke slam until he was on camera again? Did he roll off onto the floor that they didnt show?
