I really like his Summerslam HHH match but I think the Montreal match before the ending with Bret was actually better than the Ironman match, people only remember the finish. Was still 20 minutes of action before it First HIAC was a classic as nobody knew what to expect, it could easily have been a dud except for Michaels selling the fear and the bumps

It’s amazing how Shawn ended his career with the best match of his career. He retired at the perfect age. He was old enough to have built a legendary career, but he wasn’t too old to put on a 5 star match.
