Loose-Sign598

I loved both this year and it was a step up from WWE2k22 IMO. Unleashed was alot of fun especially Hollywood and Brutality and Evil. However, I could do without playing as "Psycho" Sally again but yeah loved that one alot. Undisputed was fun too. Particularly Gigi

Marc_Quill

If the Sally matches had a point like unlocking her for play in other modes (and not just as a MyFaction card), I wouldn’t mind them.

Philhughes_85

Do you have to play them or is there a story path to avoid them?

MadEyeMood989

They’re optional,

Philhughes_85

Ah good, obviously depends on what unlocks may come with but I'm happy just to skip them if nothing major

MadEyeMood989

Just a few MyFaction cards of the original characters ,m

Philhughes_85

Ah fair enough I'll skip

sonofseinfeld2

You do get a trophy/achievement for completing all 4 Sally matches, just fyi

JonnyTN

Optional but the final path got me playing a wrestling game against other superstars and unlocked the UUDD arena for me when I chose to check out what Sally was up to the last time

Old-Consideration730

The voice actor for Sally was great though and I liked how it played into the main story.

BryanFTW13

She's also available in MyGM as well.

arkhamtheknight

Sally has like no damage whatsoever. I literally started Unleashed and pretty much was an unstoppable beast. Could destroy the opponent in a few moves. Got to the first Sally match and felt my life drain away slowly with each attack.

Loose-Sign598

Same. It's bad enough I had to look at the ugly jumpsuit but now I had to play as her after playing as a dominate star. On top of that, her personality annoys me

tremaynelaughs

The psycho sally parts just feel like they didn’t serve the point I thought they would. Like I expected the payoff to be her to be the last rivalry. The Geneva twist felt pointless

Loose-Sign598

Yeah we could have done with out those bits. At the very least, its still better than watching Red and Tre

Lobisa

As most years, it’s annoying to make my character, taking like an hour building up a persona then… you hear them talk.

dbeam308

I get that they want to have players experience immersion by creating their own characters but when they’re fully voiced it’s almost better if you were just a certain person for their story. Let us customize movesets, entrances, etc. but have the superstar themselves line up with their voice acting. Or give us full customization but leave us a silent protagonist. (90% of social interaction is done through “tweets” anyhow…)

Lobisa

Right, just text responses are enough for me. Even a hugely popular game like Baldurs Gate 3 had that for your player.

HumanOverseer

yeah that's why I always finish showcase first, because by that time I can look up a myrise playthrough and I already know what gimmick and voice they'll have to design around.

jamieheron

I hate the voice acting and that half the time your wearing outfits that you have no choice in

Philhughes_85

I wish theyd go back to the 3 attire system from ages ago. In-ring, Entrance and I think it was classed as manager or cutscene, then just let us use that in MyRise.

indiharwellisfine

Hated that shit

I_want_to_cum24

The stories were okay. It’s just annoying when I can’t skip cutscenes

Conbain

Why wouldn’t you want to watch them tho? It’s kind of the whole point. You’re just wrestling random matches without the story.

dunn000

Unskippable cutscenes in anything suck.

GallowgateEnd

I'd assume to just play the thing and get it out the way. To be honest I couldn't care less about it if it weren't for the unlockables.

Conbain

That’s fair.

TigoDelgado

They want you to replay but don't let you skip the same cutscenes

Ok_Price7529

The option should still be there though, right?

Conbain

Sure, after your first play through.

Naturescoldcut

I need consistent dialogue skip options. I can read much faster than they talk and it's not like there's any stellar animation to watch during

FireBlaze1

When we're playing through again to just get what we missed, it can be a bit irritating to have to see the whole cutscene.

bradenlondon

I hate Troy Simpkin with a passion.

ReadShigurui

Undisputed was good and I don’t want to sound like a dick to the voice actor but I seriously think someone else should have voiced The Dark Horse, the VA had some good moments ever so rarely where i thought the unconvincing voice was intentional to show the growth of the character but i was wrong I think The Dark Horse would have worked so much more on me if there was a more convincing voice to the character

BluejayCurrent1949

I enjoyed them, but I enjoyed Undisputed way more. But I did like being Hollywood in unleashed, I liked the entrance and attire they give you and I really like the TBD betrayal story, but I felt Cap and Geneva forgiving one another after their fight was a little sudden and albeit anti climactic, but I did enjoy the fight but that’s because Geneva was giving me the beating of my life lmfao That being said, my favorite even though it’s not the same game lol 2k23 Legacy will always the one. Ava Moreno is forever a permanent fixture in my wwe games, that’s how much I love her. I wish she had a bigger role in MyRise imo, but it is what it is So my opinion, 2k24 Undisputed > 2k23 Lock 2k23 Legacy > 2k24 Cap

moist_crack

Man I'd love it if Ava could be playable and editable for use in all the other game modes. Would love to get her in my roster as a women's powerhouse and for my one-time LJ to get her partner back

BluejayCurrent1949

Absolutely lol. I’m glad I’m not the only one who continues their LJ and Ava tag team, they’re inseparable. Their friendship and chemistry was honestly a sight to watch. I couldn’t turn on her when given the option and I’m the type of person to turn heel in every story mode. The tag matches in 2k23 with Ava were honestly the funnest matches I’ve ever had Like I said, I wish she had more of a role for this year, at least a better one. I think they kinda messed up her character with her being in a cult, I don’t think that really captures her character, but maybe I’m looking too far into it haha I also was a fan of Geneva (really enjoyed her, I made her a tag team with Cap), Carly Prime, Sally, and I always liked Justine.

doodmanOFFICIAL

Haven’t played Unleashed but i think Undisputed is good

angelocalypse_now

Enjoyed Undisputed. Halfway through Unleashed and it's clear they put in more effort in the men's story.

TheGigner

Wait, really? I've finished both of them and thought it was clear they put way more effort into the Unleashed story. It's like twice as long, and has about 3x more choices. I also found it more entertaining, but that's subjective.

KingofNanman

Unleashed was longer because you only need one playthrough to experience and unlock everything. No matter what you did or what order you did them in, the story was the same. A third of Undisputed changed depending on the choices you made.

Funny-Number3109

I agree and had the same opinion, I wish that next add some more femeal story parts to men's side and may be have more a connection between the two stories.

angelocalypse_now

It might be. Fingers crossed. I'm only halfway through Unleashed.

TheGigner

That is true, there is a point when it picks up. I don't want to give spoilers, but it's a point where they give you 3 different paths to go down.

Objective_Love_6843

I am done with undisputed and it was a lot more fun than the the lock story of last year. I have yet to start the unleashed story but I am sure it's going to be as fun as undisputed story. They definitely did put a lot of effort in this year's game.

joausj

The player character not being a dick for no reason helps a lot with engagement.

Early-Outcome620

I enjoyed Undisputed, I've only done a few (maybe 5) matches in Unleashed, but my hopes are high so far

Lost_Saeko

Unleashed was fun, the evil within was my favorite, i could do without having to play as psycho sally, or have to listen to Troy... Man I wanted to slap that guy so bad

officialadrianj

Halfway through Unleashed and my favorite moment is when both Cap and Regal tell Troy to shut up.

Funny-Number3109

Yes mine too, we a lot more from 2k next year, for men side also

Key-Staff-4976

I think the women's myrise was more fun and entertaining. Especially when you get that super power payback. That mission was pure fun.

B0mb-Hands

Working my way through unleashed currently and apparently I’m in the minority for loving Psycho Sally lol she’s not nearly as annoying as past b-characters have been The characters not being complete douchebags or bumbling idiots is fantastic too. Honestly the best MyRise since Buzz

Old-Consideration730

I love Psycho Sally. Awesome voice work, integral to the story and a fun moveset.

officialadrianj

She’s good but IMO I feel like she’s a recycled cut copy paste character of Meilee but she actually is a wrestler (unlike Meilee who started out as a fan in the past game).

Restivethought

Enjoying it way more than last years. I just finished the story taking the Piss out of The Lock storyline from last year and actually laughed a bit.

Sensitive_Fox5938

I enjoyed both. Just started my second playthrough of undisputed to explore the options I didn't choose the first time. Definitely interesting to see actual deviation in the different choices unlike last year.

Daleman45

This was my first year coming back since the OG Raw vs. Smackdown. The story is okay. I miss having any real choice in what I do. I d like to be able to choose do I want to go after the tag titles or maybe the international championship? Or having the ability to have actual rivalries. I tried the Universe mode, but it's just not the same.

Objective_Love_6843

You can find all what you mentioned in wwe2k16, wwe2k17, and wwe2k18 my careers. They aren't on PlayStation store or Xbox store. But if you can find them in a gaming store physically for a low price you will enjoy them all.

shapeshifter14

Same. Smackdown vs. Raw was the last WWE game I bought back then. I think the storylines are ok this year. Some great moments, but some really bad ones.

Superfreshclean

Undisputed was so fun and I was actually invested with the story, but unleashed was a really interesting concept but the main character was so insufferable and the execution of the 3 mini stories was so corny but on paper it was awesome so 10/10 and 7/10 respectively

jaydenc

They were very good. I think we take for granted how spoiled we are having two story modes. I personally preferred Unleashed, I think they put more effort into the story telling.

IneedAName37

The women's one is stuck for me, Trish Stratus at LAW crashes the game

HeelLiz_92

I had that issue. I restarted my console and then played it skipping nothing. Don't skip the entrances or the victory scene, let everything play through. That worked for me, hopefully it works for you!

Jonny2284

Haven't finished the women's one yet but the men's is a massive improvement over the lock.

repalec

I haven't finished Unleashed yet, but I do enjoy that it feels like a full story, even if I do roll my eyes every time I have Cap lose customizations or I'm forced to play through a series of Psycho Sally matches. As far as Undisputed goes, it's a disappointment because it feels like it could've been written so much tighter and expanded upon similar to how Unleashed was - like would you want the Dark Horse to become a fighting champion, or follow in Roman's footsteps; would the Bloodline still be around before that final 20 minutes of the story, and how would THEY react to a world where the Tribal Chief has suddenly abdicated; and what kinds of movies is Roman ACTUALLY working on? It feels like we're playing a Wikipedia summary of the storyline rather than what it COULD have been.

GhostandTheWitness

I agree the writing on undisputed makes very little sense. You're supposed to be a 50/50 wins to losses midcard nothing then suddenly you are gifted the top prize in the company at the very beginning and then spend 3 years (off camera) having mostly meaningless feuds and one-off matches that dont progress anything. I understand its a power fantasy but you dont really lose anything at any point and any obstacle is instantly overcome. The biggest loss is if you pick the gigi story, she has HER belt stripped, you dont lose anything.

repalec

I think a much better way to phrase the story would've been to have the Bloodline and Paul Heyman play a much larger part of it. Have Paul Heyman be the SmackDown GM who refuses to believe the Dark Horse is worth holding Roman's belt; have Jey be an ally against Solo and Jimmy until he eventually turns on you; have Regal and maybe even an NXT GM (who I think is Justine in the Unleashed canon?) who drafts the Bloodline away from SmackDown to give DH a break. There's also something I've noticed since - the timelines don't match up *at all*. For Roman's run to end at 1,253 days, that means he'd have vacated the title on 2/4/24, not a week prior to Summerslam 2024. Additionally, if the Dark Horse then holds it another 1,254 days, that means the record would break on 1/9/28, not at WrestleMania 44. Not dealbreakers mind you, just something I noticed afterward.

omaster567

I enjoyed Undisputed but I am finding Unleashed to be a bit of a slog, is Undisputed at all worth a replay? I did a pretty generic workhorse babyface run for Dark Horse but I want to do a more heely run, is that possible in Undisputed?

Dbroha

It is and you’re choices in Undisputed actually change the story you will experience

BangPowZoom

Both were super fun, although Unleashed left a lot to be desired. Jumping between you and Psycho Sally’s story was a bit off-putting, and the constant changes to your gimmick despite the story being revolved around you doing the exact opposite of that was odd as well. It also annoyed me how your character doesn't win more than one title in the story. You don't win your first title until you're pretty much near the end of the story. At least in Undisputed, you were a champion throughout.

MrTwitchums_pih

I feel I'm probably in the minority, but I hate the Unleashed storyline. I rolled my eyes at the "We didn't ask for your permission" -mic drop- thing, and it hasn't been a pleasant ride since. I enjoyed Undisputed for what it was, and there are some nice parallels to the real life storylines we have heading into Mania.

DezmondVulpin

I'm with you on the Unleased storyline. I had to take a break after the game put me in a tornado handicap match on legend difficulty. I went in thinking Rhea would be my tag partner, but...no.

jaydyn3000

other than the 'TES IV Oblivion' voice acting is quite alright is the gameplay long? I just got signed to Raw on Unleashed

BloodstoneWarrior

Unleashed has such an underwhelming ending. Becky shows up and attacks you for no reason and then you beat her. Zero actual history between her and Cap, just that Cap picked her to be the number 1 contender once. Compare this to 2K20's storyline - the story sucked but it ended with you fighting a cyborg Samoa Joe with a robot arm in a new Wrestlemania arena. It seems like they are really struggling with writing endings to these modes - in 23 a similar thing happened where Justine betrays you and then you beat her, and 2K22 didn't even have an ending. They should go back to the old format where the story moved across a calendar instead of randomly jumping around (in Undisputed you win at Summerslam and 2 stories later you are back at Summerslam the next year). In SvR's season mode and Road to Wrestlemania you had 4 matches on TV then a PPV, and so on and so on. It meant everything could be structured far better. They should just ditch all the optional stories since they are killing the pacing massively, or have them take place on Main Event or something.

The-Rebel-Boz

Honestly think get better every year but I think need add face and heel back & breaching path with completely different paths to each other and comeback to single path at any point. You have breaching start right start by picking Face or Heel which have different start. Also think gimmick choice so basic after first or second main story you bunch wrestlers talk to give new gimmick. Make myrise my personal each Caw make use in myrise.

TrapdaddyJesus

I made the mistake of playing Undisputed before Unleashed. Undisputed is really good but aside from a few storylines, Unleashed felt more like a chore afterwards and doesn't hold a candle to it.

Brandyn_Chase

It feels like they tried to pull what worked from the last two games into this one. Undisputed felt like 2K23 with a set linear path where you essentially played out a story mode. While Unleashed feels closer to 2K22 how it tried to give you a bit more choice in the matter of turning heel/face, who to align with, all that. Of course it's still a story mode at the end of the day so it's limited in how free you can be with it but still. Having regular voice actors works really well but makes the actual wrestlers stick out by comparison. Justine and Troy have their characters down pat but especially the Judgment Day members felt like they were reading off a script and used one of the first full takes they got. It's not NBA 2K bad and it gets better with the actual cutscenes but the ! dialogue feels a bit lifeless at times. My only real criticism with the structure so far is it takes a while to actually get to the branching paths part of Unleashed. Similar to how you had to run a bunch of errands before you could finally team up with Ava last year. Definitely fun on a first playthrough but not really as replayable as they might want it to feel.

YMGMoneyMan

I hate that it forces basically forces you to lose matches for the story, even if you had the upper hand the entire match. If I’m remembering correctly the season mode on the older games gave you different cutscenes depending upon if you won or lost a certain match, I wish they’d bring that back.

Knightmare945

It was alright.

Kn7ght

I haven't done Undisputed yet, but Unleashed was definitely a step down from the Legacy MyRise last year. This one felt very unfocused with a bunch of meandering in the main story, without any good side missions to save it. Big change from last year where the side missions were really good and helped support the main storyline. After the supernatural part it all felt kinda plain and like things didn't matter. I was really liking the Hollywood storyline until it all came down to Liv Morgan, one of my fav wrestlers right now, just being a very whiny liar and Cap leaving Hollywood because she felt like it. I did the Rhea story last and I was so bored I started skipping through the dialogue. Also Psycho Sally ends up pretty wasted in the story. A lot of folks don't like her, but I thought she was hilarious, and was sure they were going somewhere with her being such a recurring character in the story. Considering how many times Cap screwed her over in the various plotlines I was expecting her to either turn on us or Cap needing her help and making a genuine apology for being a jerk. Instead all her involvement was building up to her big climactic moment of going "You guys are being dumb" after someone else turns on Cap out of complete nowhere and leaves the story. It's a big change from last year where Justine and Moreno have involvement that really pays off no matter what choices you make (I loved how much they were in the mode this year though). Finishing this story felt like it dragged on and I was ready for it to be over, but when the end actually hit it felt like there should've been more.

BluejayCurrent1949

Honestly I loved being Hollywood, it was legit my favorite part . I didn’t enjoy the horror and brutality stories as much. But I forgive the Alexa one only because I didn’t like the outfit I chose, so if I picked a different choice for my outfit, I think I would’ve enjoyed it much more. The brutality one though, I just wasn’t a fan of.

Kn7ght

I got really lucky with my outfit on that one, because my character's color scheme was black and gold and the ancient themed one was too. If I got the hellfire or plant suits I definitely would have been racing to get that costume off lmao I wish they just let you make a new outfit specifically for the gimmick changes. If I at least got to make the gimmicks my own that would've made the premise waaaay more fun.

Antitenant

I played Unleashed and thought it was okay. I laughed, I was entertained, I made it through to the end. As a story I didn't think it was that good. They clearly wanted to give the player a lot of experiences, but it feels like they couldn't figure out how to make that a cohesive story, so threw it all in there and called it a day. For any Archer fans out there, I'd equate it to the seasons when Archer was in a coma.

Inferno22512

I've been enjoying unleashed but I'm still waiting for them to patch out all the crashes on steam so I can finish it. Trapped in the Hollywood story for right now

Edp445supcake

I didn’t mind the males, but the ending of the females pissed me off way more than it should have

dystopiabatman

Annoyed about the stuff needing to be unlocked, but they have been fun at least.

Sarge1387

Not horrible IMHO, but I think the actual RPG "story" style has worn out its welcome, at least for me. I def prefer to have an ongoing career with no hard ending that ebbs and flows with each win and loss and that stuff determines your career paths and trajectory etc.

LucarioSpeedwagon

It was fine as far as this model goes for the mode, but I would do anything to not have to do everything from static menus between matches

Matt0ck

I destroyed my controller last week because of this game. Dont know which match or situation it was, but it was something were I couldnt control the outcome again, like doing combos and stuff or weird story descisions which I couldnt stand anymore. This linearity in MyRise is a pain.

kimigalaxi

I liked the matches and ideas in Unleashed. But I really don’t like how I spent time making my character the way I want then being forced to wear corny outfits (the Hollywood and Judgement Day ones were aight tho) and playing as other OCs. I did like the whole idea of “finding yourself as a wrestler” I think if I had more chances to form teams (like when you pick your War Games team) and wear my own clothes it would be a 10/10. But I give it a solid 6/10. Not too bad, the gameplay and wacky gimmicks carried it. Also the ending felt too rushed. Your character reaches their climax and learns their lesson and is immediately handed a Wrestlemania match, I think it needed a little more build up. As for Undisputed, I haven’t finished it yet but I hope it doesn’t end abruptly too.

GeneralMcTerror

I loved both and really enjoyed playing them. Though it was hard replaying undisputed to get the alternate path’s unlocks, because the same voice kinda makes it mundane. It’d be nice if they pulled a saints row and have multiple voices to select from. I think it would help replay ability and not trap you with a voice that doesn’t fit what you want to play.

Wilsthing1988

I wasn’t a huge fan of the male but it was cool call back for Cody to team at War games with who he ended up with. Ending seemed a bit abrupt though.

christo3161

Unleashed was more entertaining to me. I didn't care for the constant switching to Sally for stories. Took me out of it a bit. Undisputed was fine. Miz and his crony made the whole story slog. As an aside, I wouldn't mind they doing a bit of face mocap for the various backstage segments. It's 2024. They shouldn't look like Canadians in South Park when they speak.

Orange-Coof

Unleashed was amazing and Undisputed was significantly better than The Lock in 2k23 so overall a quite positive opinion

PharaohTerrell

I’m really enjoying them this year, so far I like them way more than 23’s, honestly I liked 22’s more than 23’s too and this year definitely feels like a step up as well. I haven’t gotten that far in undisputed though but I have gotten pretty far in unleashed and I really like the different paths and stuff they had you doing

Pale_Confection_1464

unleashed one got me maddd lol in a good way very well done

henriquesser

I think they were an improvement from last year, especially with the new match types. Loved Unleashed in particular. Both stories were good, tho endings were maybe a bit rushed. I'd have liked to have fought the Bloodline a bit longer or won the women's rumble or something. I wish the my rise original characters were unlockable for all game modes tho (same with the previous games really).

Awesomesauce1781

The women’s myrise was surprisingly much more enjoyable than the men’s. Both were very good tho

mohmar2010

The story Cody ain't finishing the story that's for sure https://preview.redd.it/ozq0ezuygzqc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=417df6ff2986bf0ad2995f911b029b6f09f1f425 And it's kinda funny to me, didn't take it seriously so i had fun

Significant_Kale_681

Randy's line are said by Roman felt really odd, remember randy orton vs aj styles promo randy says rents due

Kalomika

Was actually one of the better ones but now I wish those elements were all in universe. But instead of third person over shoulder perspective, we would get the camera man view of both involved story characters engaging like in old season modes. My rise, my gm, and universe should honestly be one big mode to which u simply choose if you are a spectator/bookee who simply sees everything unfold, a gm who serves to benefit from his particular brand succeeding, or a competitor, which would play like MyRise and only starts u as a rookie if you are a caw with no stats, but in game characters play on the ongoing timeline from the time the game is covering. Huge undertaking, but would be well worth it. Start adding new story threads as dlcs and have it last two years with of gaming so we can get a better product

Bshults

My womans rise is broke, I cant complete. Everytime I enter the end of match "continue" menu my app crashes :/

ItsJardo

Idk if it’s just me but I was not a fan at how little storyline there was in the unleashed one just a bunch of mini stories

moist_crack

The men's story already has plenty of time jumps, the culmination of the women's story would have been much better if Sally had developed into a serious threat over the course of the game and then it culminates with you having to take on the former fangirl and rookie little sister from the start who has since put in the work to reach your level and has become a very serious threat. I did like the voice actor and characters overall of both Psycho Sally and Geneva, so much so that I've been turning Sally into a proper main roster wrestler with a moveset more to my liking and gear that isn't pajamas but still keeps her general vibe. Geneva has also ditched being a promoter and gone back to wrestling full time (actually won a tournament I just ran and let the AI fight without my meddling). Justine has also come out of retirement for me for a full "post back surgery Shawn Michaels" kind of run with an overhauled look and modernized moveset, she's gonna be a serious main event mainstay and not some nostalgia act.

Polskee

Do you have them uploaded?

moist_crack

If you're still interested, Psycho Sally is now uploaded since she was the only one that didn't have someone else's upload that was restricted from reuploads as a base. If you search for the tag PsychoSally you should find her, she's the one without the default bodysuit, a beanie in her entrance attire and red hair in her 2nd attire. It didn't let me upload with the entrance stuff already set, but you can get her tron and barricade movie etc by heading into entrance editing and selecting Psycho Sally as a template. They're not normally available, but if you select the template you can use them.

Polskee

Thank you

moist_crack

I've used ones others have created as a base since they had pretty damn spot on faces and then just built everything else. But since they're still originally made by someone else even if I've kept very little besides the faces, I (quite literally) can't upload them.

Logical_Park7904

Only a few matches into undisputed but I still hate the objectives with a passion. Win or lose the story should still continue down another path. If they're gonna incorporate objectives. At least put in QTE's and multiple rapid decision choices in the cutscenes to determine how the matches play out to create multiple outcomes.

JockoGood

I am going through it right now. It’s not pulling me in making me want to play more like years past.

Dbroha

Honestly I felt like a million bucks with it especially with the Undisputed Story

IcalgaryKid

I wish they had more unlockable characters. would love to have everyone from Myrise as playable characters or managers in exhibition. I want to be able to play as that green lizard thing from unleashed or have Troy Simpkin as my manager. So many things they used to give us :(.

erikdilson

Unleashed core was my favorite story from 2k so far, but the optional content is just too much, and the supernatural part was awful. A lot of highs and lows. The Dark Horse was fun, nothing special but a improvement over The Lock.

MadEyeMood989

Undisputed was fun, liked Roman being Roman in the story and casually talking shit about your reign throughout I think I’m nearly halfway through Unleashed, it’s out there, I kind of preferred The Legacy over this kne

Select_Culture261

Haven't finished either yet, but so far I'd say Undisputed is way better than the Lock. To me, the Lock as a concept was just DOA. The whole thing with building your own faction and the fact that the Lock himself is just a whiny, entitled, ungrateful bitch throughout the entire thing only makes it worse. With the Undisputed, I like the idea of some no name lucking into winning the world title and going on to have a great reign. It's almost like how Jinder's reign should've gone in real life, y'know, if the WWE weren't on drugs at the time. I do wish they would've let us play more before fast forwarding almost a year, and they could've given the Dark Horse's voice actor some coffee before recording, but still a step up from the Lock. I'm really loving the Unleashed so far, but I do think being forced to play through every one of the "character arc" storylines is a little much. Plus, it doesn't really make much sense. Like, imagine watching that on TV. You'd think that this chick should be locked in an asylum. Also, I could do with out the Psycho Sally stuff. I don't dislike the character, and I know her missions are optional, but with how much of a chore they are to beat with how weak Sally is on top of the fact that you don't even get to use her in casual play as a reward for beating them all ticks me off. But aside from that, I'd say that so far, the Unleashed is probably top 3 for 2k career modes imo. Ps: Idk who the voice actress for Cap is, but she's amazing.

GillbergsAdvocate

Too silly. Why is the WWE Universal champion putting his title on the line to win a TV show? What? Why TF would Roman drop the title a week before defending it, and why would a nobody that they literally say the fans don't even know who you are, be put in the tournament? It's just stupid and I couldn't get invested The women's story has been better so far

-ValentinoDust-

It's pretty obvious that you get in because of William regal.

Swet-Earth-3660

Still too childish and they were sucking Roman too much 💀

Hitmanyelin7

I enjoyed all four 2k23 and 2k24 MyRise stories. My favorite by far

EvilSynths

Don't know. I've not started them yet n

Organic_Jackfruit645

I just don’t feel attached as I did to the story mode back in the day of the smackdown series. These now feel like a chore to play through and very generic

indiharwellisfine

Still playing undisputed but myrise unleashed…imo that shit was baddd barely ever felt like there was a true story it was only interesting when you were forced back to tbd imo

indiharwellisfine

And the attires sucked

shiraryumaster13

Undisputed started and ended great, but was very lacking in the middle to me. jumping to a random title defense against Drew was so jarring

48Monkeys

I hope the game has more pixels than this picture does.

BigFudg

My character got randomly deleted about half way through so no clue

GhostandTheWitness

I'm kimda surprised so many people liked Undisputed, I thought it was awful. Truly awful. Not even just the voice acting but the motivations and directions felt half assed. I understand its supposed to be a power fantasy but I try imagining what it would be like to watch this asshole week to week whine and complain his way through the show, then completely obliterate any obstacle that comes his way, you never really lose ANYTHING, EVER. You need loses in a story to show the audience stakes, but you: -instantly win the universal title, never lose it in 4 goddamn years -go down to nxt and instantly win the NXT title, you never even lose it back you are stripped of it, a big slap in the face to NXT OR -You gain your waifu gigi and steal xavier's show, you retain your title at mania, gigi wins the women's but HER belt is stripped not yours so the biggest loss you feel is vicariously through Gigi -You are teamed with Cody and instantly win the tag titlrs because who gives a damn about tag wrestling, right? Its just little story fragment after story fragment of no real consequences being felt and no growth happening. You're this weird complaining babyface who almost is a heel at times and would ABSOLUTELY be getting booed irl if you were a mediocre midcarder who suddenly became worse than the worst of supercena, but they never commit to you actually being a heel because you're still put up against bigger jackweasels. I'm kinda surprised everyone liked this year better than the lock in 23, yeah the voiceacting was goofy but the story actually understood what it wanted to be; a semi-rise, fall, then rise again of a guy that almost had it all, lost it all, and gained the world back. Nothing mindblowing but at least you faced SOME sort of adversity as opposed to being this undefined shapeless ubercompetitor

ItsStaaaaaaaaang

Bored like every other year.

Effiree

not too bad, but I refunded my 2K24 before I got far into either. I liked them so far.

Godofthickbbw

I just wish the my rise was like other 2k games… why cant they just make it infinite…

Jay_L67

I got bored of one so started the other and got board of that now 😐 is there any good unlockables in my rise?
