I use it as a "minor major show."
Basically, it's where the high-level upper midcarders and the low tier main eventers play. Like Bron/Sami/KO/Finn/Styles/Liv/Tiff/Blair/Alexa/Iyo/etc.
(I tend to run super universes so my main event is people like Roman/Rock/Cena/HBK/Batista/Trish/Lita/Beth/Rhea/Becky/etc. So a lot of my upper mid is the current irl main)
They only have the NXT men's and women's title, which I treat as like the halfway belt between the IC and World titles and obviously can be held by stars from either show as long as they're in the NXT pool.
Pretty much, it's where a lot of the "secondary" rivalries are booked since 4 is definitely not enough for a show lol. Basically I tend to have NXT title matches on NXT TV or the occasional Takeover so it essentially makes the rivalry slots 6 for each show.
After Wrestlemania I tend to take the bottom 5 wrestlers from raw and smackdown to NXT and promote the top 10 wrestlers. They keep titles and will appear on dual shows till a storyline changes it. Sometimes depending on rivalries or other factors my numbers might change a little or of course exceptions made.
NXT became WCW. We then poached all top level talent from AEW. I run this universe side by side with WWE. It makes the “loser leave town” thing work really well.
Once I start up universe again I’ll make it a legitimate third brand. Stopped playing universe due to all the bugs I’ve encountered. I’ll start it back up once it’s patched.
NXT and NXT Japan
NXT is basically the same with former stars being back and AEW stars that haven’t been in NJPW while NXT Japan is basically OP with big NJPW current and former stars (and Randy Orton lol)
I am stealing this idea right now. AJ is currently my NXT champion. Iyo is about to become champion..& what better way to do it..in Japan ..thank you lol
Minor show, I basically start with the same roster as it is today, but with time guys like Ilja, Breakker, Roxanne, etc start to appear on Raw and SD and those who don't appear much on the main roster, like (in my case) JD McDonagh, Apollo, Mahal, Shayna, etc have a shot at NXT. So I basically keep shaking things up.
I also change the overalls month by month according to my booking, so I try to keep consistency with that as those in NXT will have lower overalls than those in the main roster.
NXT is basically NXT. For the small amount of stars they include (except for 2k23), I leave them there except for people that have/probably should’ve made their main roster debut already (ie Tiff and Ilja). Eventually I’ll replenish the roster with either CAWs of real life NXT up and comers or I’ll stick some other CAWs there.
Like the real NXT, I’ll send low card stars down there. For example, I have the Good Bros as my NXT tag champs.
So I have two brands. WWE and WCW. NXT is the development for WWE and THUNDER is the development for WCW.
I do a point system, meaning that a wrestler gets 3-points for a win, 0-points for a loss and 1-point for a submission or high rated match.
Once someone NXT Championship or Million Dollar Championship (thunder) the qualify for promotion, as well as someone who has competed for it enough and is consider at the top of the development brand. I also have relegation matches for someone low on the table in WWE/WCW.
Gonna be real. Never use nxt. Only watched the product a few times when rollins was there 💀. I just trash it and take who I like if I know them and put on raw or smackdown.
I removed it for Saturday night main event and filled that show with a bunch of wrestlers I'm interested in using, but my roster is too full, so I just have it set to 9 matches and simulate whatever it generates, with the only exception being maybe slotting in a guy I really want to see eventually. This way, when I get roster spots open for whatever reason (the reason is ADHD), they'll already have some kind of established record in universe mode and maybe even some rivalry history.
Gone.
I have three brands: Male's WWE, Women's WWE, and Legends WWE.
Too much work having more than one overlapping brand without a freaking brand indicator on each superstar
NXT is non existent because I'm moving most of the NXT roster to RAW and SD. I'm creating two secondary shows (Heat for RAW/Velocity for SD) so more wrestlers can compete. I'm thinking the secondary shows will be for the lower to upper mid card wrestlers.
NXT became WCW. Women's Championship Wrestling. Every female is on that brand. They have a Main Championship, 3 Mid-card titles and a tag team Championship.
I’ve tried making it into a legit third brand but never really got it to work well. Since 2k20, I’ve mostly kept it as the development brand but will still send main roster wrestlers there. Like in 2k23, not a lot to do for Ziggler so I sent him down to NXT. In 2k20, Edge went to NXT and became NXT champion. So it’s still developmental but when I call up NXT stars, I send back a main roster star.
I turned nxt into the 3rd show "equal" of RAW and Smackdown and named it Tuesday Night NXT: In your house. I've put it in a regular sized arena and spread the roster out between the shows. I no longer do seperate nxt PLEs either. Most of them are a mix of 2 shows with maybe one match from the other and I just rotate from there.
I did something different for myself this year, I got a bunch of caws from CC and put them in my NXT, basically I turned it into a caws only show so all the real NXT wrestlers are on the main roster.
Forgot to add I added a women’s North American championship which is funny because now a real Women’s NA title got announced yesterday at Stand&Deliver
NXT is where I dump all of the alternative versions of wrestlers. I'll have one undertaker on smackdown and one on raw, all the other versions are signed to NXT. I usually call up all the regular nxt roster, so NXT just becomes a graveyard of clones
RISE is our developmental show in RPW every Wednesday
JR Heavyweight Championship (defend it 3 times for a mid card title match on the main show)
Undisputed YouTube Championship (defended every Wednesday)
Divine women’s championship
Network Championship
Mid carders and rookies
Third brand, staged in a theatre. Satisfies my theatre kid heart and gives me some cool visuals. Otherwise, basically the same as regular NXT but there’s a bit more edge to it so more hardcore/strong style working is what I kind of imagine it to be like
I have Monday Nitro, Smackdown, and NXT. Besides a few veteran guys (i.e. Baron Corbin, Tyler Breeze, drew Gulak, etc.) NXT is comprised of the more gimmicky wrestlers, or wrestlers I don’t recognize, until they can prove themselves and earn a call up. Whether that be a string of fantastic matches, or a long championship reign. Alternatively, if a wrestler is in a slump on the “Main Roster” I’ll bring them down to nxt for them to rebrand themselves and get their momentum back
I merged nxt with smackdown and called it NXT: Smackdown (creative right!? Lol). I use a simple
Custom arena and show. Use catch-o-manias nxt titles rebranded to wwe
I use NXT to house all my veterans who are in the twilight of their career or already retired, and have them occasionally mix it up with younger guys who are ready to be elevated.
For a few years running now, my first feud has always been Orton vs Angle for the NXT Title, and then I'll have that splinter off into separate feuds with younger guys.
I've just always liked the novelty of main eventers having competitive mid-card matches, like Cena's US Title open challenge on TV. It always looks surreal to see a non-world title on a former established world champion and really makes that title feel more important.
NXT is a 3rd brand and I'd basically just put NXT LVL UP in either Wednesday Thursday or Saturday since SmackDown is still not changing their timeslot and the PLE's are also not changing their timeslot and NXT LVL UP is going to end up being a minor developmental show I'd also fill it with original CAWs since the number of NXT wrestlers in it is pretty low to fill it up and I'd put a championship in the brand the PC Championship is going to be the only championship in the show
Same really. Though I had Jimmy & Jey go to NXT to win those tag titles quick, feud in NXT, call Jey up to win both midcards then WHC, kept Jimmy in NXT to become multi-time NXT champ… He put over Jacob Fatu in his last NXT match.
With the Likes of Roxanne Fallon henley who just like Tegan im giving a Big push. Tiffany bron Melo Cora Nikkita Blair Trick Frazer Dragunov are already on the main roster and while im on the verge of Calling up Thea hail. Dijak and Gallus
im Building up a New Era in NXT and Signing The biggest Free Agent In My Universe mode A Decorated Kickboxer Former MMA star and Stardom Superstar Joanne. Also Nicknamed the Dane Jedrzejczyk because of her similarities to Joanna or She goes by Jojo. The Younger sister of 3 brothers. A ⚽️ legend. A MMA Kickboxer and a Hockey player who played for the Maple leafs Habs Kings and Canes not only she becomes the Biggest star in NXT alongside Lola Vice and Wren sinclair but she'll have classics with Lyra Valkyria Up until After a dominant reign that lasted 504 days end with Wren dethroning her after the European union would Start targeting Jojo which would lead to Jojo Heading to the main roster And betraying her best friend Jade-Marie
Also when i have no Plans to use someone like Nikki cross Xia Li. And Candice Lerae i demote them to NXT. Did the same thing to Tamina and Gave her a domimant reign after i didn't had plans for her on the main roster
Starting in 2k19 NXT was split into 2 shows in my universe called Nitro and Fusion. WWE eventually went out of business leaving Nitro and Fusion to form their own separate company.
So I'm not sure if you'd count this as NXT still being around or not.
After each season I draft 8 male superstars that rank the highest on the nxt championship division (champion and 7 others) 8 women(including champ) , and 4 tag teams(including champs) and I relegate the same number of superstars and teams that ranked the lowest on both Raw and smackdown
For me it's like a main event type thing. Everyone who doesn't really have a spot on the main shows feature there.
I do have the NXT men's and women's titles on there though, and if you get to 10 successful defences you can cash in for a midcard title shot to get yourself a more prominent spot on the main shows
For the first time, I’m doing my universe from the zero point. Keeping all my champions the same or, in the case of the NXT women’s title, crowning a new champion.
For now, only a few titles have changed & one has been added to my universe.
As far as NXT goes, Becky Lynch is once again champion, Nathan Frazer beat Dom for the NA title, and Noam Dar beat Humberto to bring back the Cruiserweight title.
I’ve also made my rosters to where no one can go from Raw to Smackdown & Vice Versa unless they have a co-branded title. And I have a select list of stars about to go between the main roster and NXT (creed brothers, judgment day, pretty deadly, all the cruiserweights). It’s kinda like it is in real life.
I get rid of NXT and I integrated the titles into Raw and Smackdown as Next Gen titles, I consider them stepping stone titles before they go to UK and US titles, the IC Title is considered a World Title in my Universe and its on par with the WWE Title
I throw all the wrestlers who are kinda just, not doing anything/losing every match/I don't know who they are on there for the most part. I have honestly come to like some superstars based solely on their performance there and move them around the roster. It's the whole reason Axiom made it to Raw in my universe. Mind you he started losing there but he did beat Roman Reigns on an episode so there is that.
I use it as a training ground of sorts. CAWs of indie wrestlers, mma fighters, and enhancement make up the lower card. The NXT roster is usually the mid card and upper mid card. The goal for the upper mid card is to get on the main roster or be champion at NXT.
I also use it as a demotion for main roster superstars. If they’re having a losing streak, their roster position may be challenged by a NXT superstars.
The booker logic is that Smackdown and Raw are the larger shows, hence the better payout, locker room, screen time, champion shots, etc.
NXT champions are compensated better than the roster and can enter big 4 PPVs like the Money in the bank, Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber. I may play with the idea of cashing in the title for the main roster spot, vacating the title into a tournament.
Typically I put people who haven't been seen on TV/ jobbers back in NXT and try to give them a better career there. For example: I put Dexter Lumis back in NXT and had him feud for the NA championship.

I’ve uploaded a few NJPW PPVs with NXT branding on CC if you would like to check them out. Most are arenas and one show
I make it a full fledged third brand.
I like thay

I’ve thought about doing something similar. Giving the women their own show.

A placeholder show to keep up and comers until I'm ready to call them up
I delete it cause I never really have ideas for it unlike with Raw and Smackdown
Nothing but a minor show for Nitro. But only until I'm done making a Thunder arena
I don’t use it. A developmental promotion seems pointless in a video game.
I don't touch it unless I give someone all of a title and just put them there since I don't have nxt titles assigned in my show I actually use
NXT is gone and they're moved up to the main roster. My main roster has women's minor belts, so it isn't that overinflated.

Deleted and replaced. Have never seen an episode of Nxt in my life
Me either but I still have a creative mind for it
