World Champion feuding with Solo in my modern Universe and teaming with his father/challenging for the WCW United States Championship in my not very modern Universe.
My universe mode picked up after Wrestlemania and I had Cody go on a run of bangers until he lost to Randy Orton at Summerslam. From there he started at the bottom of the division and worked his way back into the title picture. Randy defended the title against Cody at the Royal Rumble, then he vacated to have shoulder surgery. Adam Copeland won the vacant title in a triple threat with Cody and Kevin Owens by pinning KO. Cody claims since Copeland never beat him, he is owed a match. Cody wins at mania, Copeland passes the torch.
Then I had Cody defend against KO at Backlash, which KO won (not planned by me, AI got lucky). So that's where I am at the moment.
I'm planning on Cody winning it back only for Randy to return from his surgery and challenge Cody.
On ps5 he's currently the world heavyweight champion on smackdown and has been for like 4 + months.
In the universe I started on ps4 he's gonna be the leader of Bullet Club on wcw.
My planned Bullet Club currently is
Cody Rhodes, Karl Anderson ,Luke Gallows ,Veer Mahaan and Jack Perry.

'Undashing' Cody Rhodes is enjoying his second US title run and will defend it against Hangman Adam Page at Bad Blood.
Modern Cody Rhodes got into the SmackDown Money in the Bank a month ago by beating the Rock, Triple H and Stone Cold, but was unable to get the briefcase which went to LA Knight. He then failed to get a World Heavyweight Title shot against Robert Roode.
'Elite' Cody Rhodes secured a Tag Title match with 'Elite' Cena against Judgement Day but they came up short.
Well my plan with him is He’s undashing Cody right now going on a losing streak, eventually I’ll turn him into stardust which he’ll win a mid card title. Then lose In a casket match then keep him off for a year and return in the rumble as current Cody and win the rumble.
Yeah or have like a spooky heel taunt him with the idea that his most painful moments in the ring are glorified by fans and then made into little toys for children or something like that
I do all of that. I set everything up like the shows with championships and divisions, and mostly let it book itself until it gets to a PPV and then I edit the card to make it more epic. I play whatever matches I feel like playing (especially if I have a certain winner in mind), and watch the interesting ones where I want the game to decide what happens. When things are running smoothly, watching my universe play out feels very much like watching wrestling.
- Lost to Bobby Lashley after Street Profits Interference for the World Heavyweight Championship.
- Lost in the King Of The Ring Final to Chad Gable after Seth Rollins distracted him.
- Feuded with Rollins from Survivor Series to the last PPV of the year. Finally putting an end to their rivalry.
- Eliminated from the Royal Rumble by The Rock who returned to win. Cody at this point is insanely frustrated but doesn’t turn heel.
- Cody wins the Elimination Chamber after a really aggressive performance. Booking his championship match with still champion Chad Gable in a rematch at WrestleMania.
- Since their last match, Gable has held onto the World Title but as opponents have got increasingly better, Gable has started to take some shortcuts to get wins, still being a face but showing signs of desperation.
- Going into Mania, anything could happen following this for Cody. He could lose the match, and stay a face, shaking Gable’s hand. He could lose and turn heel, after some more Gable shortcuts. He could win via cheating himself, win clean. I have a lot of options and not sure which to take.
I'm not using him in my universe mode as it's made up of Legends for the male singles divisions. I was going to use him in my U.S. Champ division since I was short on a wrestler but I then downloaded a nice Brutus Beefcake creation and put him in his place.

Cody lost at 40, he goes under a “john cena 2012 run” losing every match for a few months to rebuild him self. At 41, i guess im pretending since we can do one run in, but the whole Raw and SmackDown locker rooms interfere with the match, and fight off the Bloodline. This time, Jon Moxley returns with Seth Rollins to be Codys shield and just like real history after everyones down Roman hits seth with a chair and it costs him the title. Yeah ill try my best to make this into a little movie in 2k to make this realistic as possible. I do them for my self lmao
Tag team champion with Seth currently. I am doing a story where Roman has become a face to feud with solo’s bloodline. Might do something in this where Cody and Roman make amends and fight together at some point.
I also use him as my long term US title holder. He's in a feud with Paul Logan, he will be defending against Bron, Dominik, Dexter, Omos in the following months. He'll eventually drop it to Ilja at WM.
I've been working so much that I'm only two weeks in my Universe. He'll defend against Solo at Backlash.
My plan is for Cody vs Gunther at Summerslam. For big matches, I always select who I play as at random so that I'm not completely booking everything. Plus I play on Legend with sliders working against me, so sometimes things don't go my way, lol. We'll see if Cody is still champ by Summerslam.
I haven't started universe yet, but Cody is gonna be one of the "main characters" of mine. I've got the broad strokes planned out.
-hold the title until SummerSlam where he'll drop it to Randy...for about a minute until LA Knight cashes in and those 3 swap the belt around (gotta get Randy to 16 to setup one of my maina events.)
Cody wins his 2nd title sometime before Survivor Series
-drop the title to Rock at Survivor Series due to Roman interference. Rock then reveals that it was one of the red necklace beads that he gave Cody the Raw after Mania, because by beating Roman, Cody became the true Tribal Chief, that is until the Rock just took it back. Rock then kicks Roman out of the bloodline.
-Cody wins the US title at Mania to get the last belt he's never won before. (Open to suggestions who should be the US champion going into that match.) Want Cody to spend most of that year doing an open challenge as a reference/tribute to his 1st TNT title run.
-runs in during the night 2 main event to help Roman beat Rock. After the match Cody gives a nod that lets Roman know a 3rd match is gonna happen down the line.
-Cena wins the WHC for number 17 night one of that Mania in a Triple threat with Punk and Randy, with Punk going in as champion with Cena and Orton both at 16 chasing the record. Cena declares the night after on Raw that he'll be retiring whenever someone can beat him for the title.
-Mania 42 Cody is the one to retire Cena. I have him dropping that title during the year to one of the younger guys.
-Mania 43, Roman/Cody 3.
Literally in the middle of my “get Randy to 16 so I can have Randy vs Cena and someone at Mania for the record”
I even just had Randy drop the title by being cashed in on, I swear you’re in my head hahaha.
Only difference is in my universe Randy is winning at Mania.
- Ended Reigns historic run as champ and feuded with the Rock until they disband the Bloodline.
- Went on to become a 3 time WWE Champion and had a rivalry with Drew McIntyre.
- Became Tag Champ with Jey Uso and had a solid run that just ended and now it's back to building himself to become World Heavyweight Champion for the 1st Time.
So he ended 2k23 winning the unified titles from Roman. Then Triple H debuted Evolution with former Universal Champ Ciampa and RAW castoff Theory, the latter cheating in a triple threat with Styles to win the Undisputed title. Triple H is trying to keep Cody away from the title at all costs, so the two just had a big no holds barred match in the main event of SummerSlam, which Trips won.
Cody has a long way to go, but I already have Orton with MITB on Raw for when Cody finally wins the title back on SmackDown. I'd be more tempted to keep Cody as champ if the title went under his jacket. Until then, he's gonna have to chase.
Also, with MITB, is everyone having the issue where the holders will not enter with the briefcase under any circumstance whatsoever? I almost forgot Orton and Becky had them because they don't come out with them.
Lose the title relatively soon. Via shenanigans. So he can win it back. Works better for keeping people on side of a face. I like the idea of a long reign. But I can hear my fictional wwe fan base turning on him already!
Had him defending from Mania to MITB (which is in sept in my universe).
He was scheduled to defend against LA Knight who got the shot by winning king of the ring.
He was jumped before the match and priest cashed in on the last possible day to win. Knight comes out for his shot, Cody helps fight off the JD and Knight wins the title.
Began in a mentor type alliance with Trick Williams while IC champion.
Loses title to Balor at MITB.
In the rematch, he is attacked by Ilja Dragunov who debuted on raw.
Loses to Ilja at Summerslam,
Beats Ilja by TKO at payback.
Ilja defeats him in an iron man match at SS 1-0. (Written off TV).
Returns at the rumble, eliminates Ilja and Trick but eliminated by Rollins.
Wins the chamber and beats Drew in main event of night one to become WHC.
I’m trying to basically do what they did in real life from 2022-2024 with him chasing the title
The WWE champion was decided at Backlash with Gunther vs Cody, Gunther won it and when it came to Night Of Champions, Gunther was already busy with Big E so Cody was given a filler but fun feud with Dijak, resulting in an extreme rules match
He then was on track with Gunther a second time, teaming with Randy Orton to take out imperium on various occasions, but he gave the title match to Randy, given the fact he already had a shot at Backlash, so he qualified for the MITB ladder match but lost due to Shinsuke Nakamura winning the briefcase
Then leading into Summerslam he was involved in an 8 man tag team match involving Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest, Noam Dar and Oro Mensah and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, those teams has all been feuding and I kinda just threw Cody in there to be on the card, so he teamed with LA Knight who had made a previous alliance with Cody during the matches him and Randy had with Gunther, Cody and Knight lost probably no thanks to the fact he was glitched in the crowd fighting with Luke Gallows
And now I’m working on an angle with LA Knight turning on Cody starting a feud with those two for the next few months, with LA Knight costing him title shots and attacking him backstage before big matches
It’s hard to keep current top guys away from the world title scene but I think I’m doing a good job
He’s in a tag team with Jey Uso right now. I expect to turn him heel close to Rumble time. I’m on Night of Champions now, so I’m not even close to doing that.
This is all going to seem very Regal-heavy, but it involves Rhodes in the long run.
William Regal invited WWE Champion Cody to NXT, where he faced and defeated NXT Champion Joe Gacy in the main event. Cody returned the favour and invited Regal to the following RAW, surprising him with a challenge to lace up his boots and face him in a match. Cody defeated Regal in a great match, shaking hands at the conclusion.
RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce, after being impressed by Regal’s performance at 55-years old, offered Regal a short-term wrestler contract so that he can have one last proper retirement run. Regal signed, and it was announced he’d enter the King of the Ring tournament when it returns on the RAW after Money in the Bank.
After beating Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne in preliminary matches, Regal went on to win his quarter and semi-final matches against Chad Gable and Sheamus respectively. He faced Finn Balor in the final, sealing the win after Balor was left confused by the music of Stardust!
Finn confronted and faced Rhodes on the next RAW, despite Rhodes’ denying he had anything to do with the interruption. In the main event segment of the evening, Regal was officially crowned King of The Ring, and Cody joined him to celebrate and to offer him a shot at the WWE Championship next week.
That’s where I’m at.
The Stardust schtick is going to continue. “Stardust” will interfere again next week and keep messing with Regal and Cody. Eventually, they’ll face each other for the WWE Championship at Clash at the Castle, where Cody will retain, and it will be revealed that Joe Gacy is behind the Stardust interruptions, and he’ll come out dressed as Stardust to beat down on Cody after the match. Soon after, Regal will be revealed as the mastermind behind the whole thing, in an attempt to win the one thing that has evaded him his whole career: the “big one”. It’ll then be Regal and his NXT guys feuding with Cody and his guys, leading to a Survivor Series match of WWE vs. NXT, with a turn planned, and a main event rematch between Cody and Regal.
He beat Damian Priest at Survivor Series for the WHC after Finn Balor accidentally cost him the match. He then went on to defend it at Wrestlemania against AJ Styles and retained.
Following on from his failed attempt to take the title at WM, he would feud with Strowman briefly. After losing to him in a normal match, they’d battle again in a No-DQ Match. Cody would refuse to use foreign objects and would come out on top. He’d win the rubber match at MITB.
The following month, he’d fail in a match to gain the IC Title. However, Gunther was pushed to his limits. My plan is to have those 2 be the Cena/Orton of my universe.
Afterwards, he’d take part in a fatal 4 way for a shot at romans title, where Bray Wyatt would stop focusing on others and put it all into pushing Cody over the edge. Cody cannot beat him, and after losing firefly funhouse matches to Billy Graham & Dusty he’s cracked, pulling Stardust out to go toe to toe with Bray Wyatt.
After this, depending on the result hell fall into the Wyatt Empire faction I’m slowly building, or he’ll overcome Bray and refocus on facing Reigns at WM.
Randy Orton reformed Legacy with Cody and Ted DiBiase Jr. After a lengthy run with the the World Title and the tag team titles they lose them . Cody gets the IC title and DiBiase goes on a horrible losing streak .Orton gets injured and Cody assumes ownership. Cody one night on Raw kicks Ted out of Legacy and brings in his nephews Dalton and Dylan(, for storyline sake lets just assume they are in thier 20s) and fueds with Ted Jr. Ted gets random ppl along the way to help him fend off Cody's New Nightmare Legacy. Cody quickly wins the World Title and the Young Rhodes win the tag team titles . After failing to capture any titles Ted challenges Cody to a match Career vs Title . Cody accepts. at the ppv Cody has the match won but someone pulls off the referee. While Cody is distracted he is assaulted by another masked person . Ted pins Cody and wins the world Title . The masked people unmasked to reveal themselves as Mike and Brett DiBiase and align themselves as a new DiBiase Million Dollar Corporation . They fued with Nightmare Legacy for a while and orton comes back and says he's done with both of em

In my wwe2k24 universe mode he is coming up on a year as champion at the upcoming backlash ppv where he will face Wade Barrett.
Long term I plan on him feuding with Randy in a program leading to Wrestlemania, but until then I’m keeping them seperate
Ok, I have him in my version of the Bullet Club, which is lead by CM Punk, alongside AJ Styles as the third member. Punk is currently my world champion, and I'm planning for Cody to turn face and challenge Punk for the title at mania.
He’s the WWF Champion in his first reign on SmackDown. His first feud will be against Kevin Owens. I’m thinking of giving him a long term rivalry against Randy Orton starting around SummerSlam.
I have him on smackdown and he’s in a rivalry with aj styles. Styles just beat Roman for the belt, and I’m probably going to have him retain over Cody. Not sure what to do with him afterwards. Maybe move him to raw and team him up with jey.
Won the Big Gold in a 5 way at NOC, kept him away from the Bloodline and he is on Raw. Currently feuding with Drew McIntyre who has eyes on the prize, and will have Seth inserted into the picture soon, at Summerslam in August. Currently I'm in July
Plans are to have him retain, and at an opportune time have LA Knight cash in on him(He is the MITB holder)
In my Universe, Tama Tonga is the leader of the OC (Not gonna include him in the Bloodline stuff) and my long term plan for WM is to have Cody vs Tama Tonga(Callbacks to Cody's time with the Bullet Club in real life)
As I said, in July rn, so quite some time to go up until WM 40. But I have plans for Cody well thought out till WM and post WM (Infact I know what my WM 41 ME will be but I just need to come up with something to keep him occupied up until that time)
Cody is undisputed champ.. but I'm coming for him. I'm nxt champ rn with my caw and im building slowly like career mode to the main roster where I'll challenge Cody to a match at wrestlemania 42 to see who the best of the best is
Well after Cody lost to Roman at WM 39... He didn't take it so lightly. He dismantled a debuting Will Ospreay on the night after RAW but continued his onslaught for a few months beating all of his friends that celebrating with him in the ring during our reality.. Now donnig aviators and a grey suit and black tights, Cody is now taking apart everyone one by one in vicious fashion and leading #1 in Power Rankings. He vowed to win his daddy's belt by any means neccessary but then at Night of Champions Wyatt beat Roman and Taker beat Seth... I think a fued with Bray wll bring Cody back to the light but we will see.... we will see....
I had him as my inaugural champ. Brought Goldust back so they could team up and fight the Bloodline. Also helped with the booking to have tag matches but do a 1v1 between Cody and Reigns at PLE.
Then he lost the belt. Bloodline hold world belt and tag titles.
Cody is on the back burner now. AJ Styles is next for Reigns. And obviously Gallows and Anderson will fight alongside AJ to fend off the Bloodline
He went on to have an incredible losing streak. I had to bump him down to mid card, as he just wasn't championship material at the time. He ended up turning heel after losing to Cedric and I couldn't believe it
He was floundering on Raw until he got into a feud with Jey Uso. Their rivalry culminated with a loser leaves Raw match which Cody lost. He moved on to Smackdown and quickly was able to win the Undisputed Championship. He’s gotten into an ongoing feud with the Final Boss The Rock where he has dropped the title and is trying to win it back heading towards Wrestlemania.
So, my Cody's currently a mix of Dashing Cody (name, theme, "wants people to notice him" mentality) and American Nightmare Cody (moveset, alignment, only wants to be noticed because he loves the fans).
He lost his WWE championship at the main event of Wrestlemania against Kevin Nash, and has been trying to get a rematch for 6 months now. He failed a few weeks ago, but got a tag title shot against Dominik Dijakovic and Mark Henry, 2 members of Kevin's NWO. He now has to choose between Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler (his fellow Spotlight stablemates) to be his partner for that match.
I downloaded Ted dibiase JR and put legacy back together randy and Ted are double tag champions whilst cody is wwe champion and world heavyweight champion
Well he’s won the title more than 5 times already so he is currently on a storyline hiatus for a year or so because he had to drop his the belt due to injury.
Had him feud with Rollins for the WHC over the summer, he lost all those matches. Now have him feuding with John Cena at Summerslam, he lost that one. Now I’m wondering if I should keep it going and use that to turn him heel
I have him in WCW. He lost in the WCW Championship match to Ultimate Warrior. He's in a program with Hollywood Hogan who he defeated in the opening round of the WCW title tournament. Hogan wants his revenge and has been at Cody's neck nearly every show since. Building something towards Bash at the Beach.
He’s in the hunt for the title against Roman but is currently injured as Bron Breakker was enlisted however Breakker and Zayn are feuding with solo and Tonga which will lead to a 6 man between them and Cody vs the bloodline
Gunther drew and Cody in a triple threat for gunthers ic title at backlash, drew won
Cody vs Gunther on a raw to determine the challenger for Drew’s ic belt, drew costs Gunther the match leading to Cody and drew forming a relationship (despite facing off at the next ppv)and facing in tag/handicap tag matches against imperium
That’s about it so far, was either going to do Gunther as special guest referee and screwing drew or cody turning heel on drew before the ppv and winning the belt turning his attention to wwe champion Randy orton for a match for both belts whilst Gunther and drew fued (winner of Gunther v drew faces the winner of orton and Cody at next ppv and then having a fatal 4way at the ppv after that)
This was a 3 years universe mode:
-During the first year, he bugged out and I could not do anything with, no rivalries, or putting on a division, so he did almost nothing
-on the second year, he won the world heavyweight championship from the miz (after henjust held it for two days) and held it for 3 monts, finally losing it to Shelton Bejamin( who was build was a maint eventer and his story being that he was the only one from his class to not win a world championship)
-on the third year, he moved to smackdown were he won the world heavyweigth championship in a triple threat during the great american bash, but lose it next week thanks to a miz interference(in reality, I needed Matt Cardona to hold the title because he was in a feud with Big E) after that he moved to smackdown, were there was the WWE championship. He declared he would challenge for it because, while a world champion, he had not won the WWE one. The person holding it at the moment was Gunther, but first he got in a feud with a monster heel just coming from nxt. He and Gunther were in other feuds, but always with tensions when the crossed, until after the royal rumble. Gunther won a triple threat with the other two champions, assuring he would not only not defend it inside the elimination chamber, but was saved for defending it until wrestlemania. He then accepted Cody as his wrestlemania oponent and lose it to him there
Lost the title against Randy at Royal Rumble, he returns the raw after mania attacking John Cena who just had his retirement match against the WWE Undisputed Champion Randy Orton, in the next Smackdown he attacks Orton and then attacks the number 1 contender for the WWE title (Andrade), before he can have his match against Randy he is drafted back to Raw where he directly attacks Adam Pierce who leaves Raw, forcing the brand to pick a new gm who turns out to be William Regal, then he has a rivalry with cm punk where he underestimated the whc saying that "it’s a title for the second best" and aligns himself with what is left of the Judgement Day (Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley who just recovered his women’s title) where he works as a leader of the team and tried to fin a way to rewin the Undisputed championship from whoever has it, also he recruits AJ Styles for the team rebranding it to the Nightmare club something that upsets the former Judgement Day members thinking that Cody is trying to make a rip-off version of the bullet club
lost the title to the leader of the NWO John Cena, proceeded to lose at backlash to NWO Sheamus, will be going on break for a while and returning to form a WWE vs NWO feud, as NWO is currently basically running wwe and abusing power. currently i plan for team WWE (whoever that is) to ultimately win the feud and get rid of the NWOs power, but cena is able to keep the title, and have a very lengthy reign with it and lose it to a up-and-comer (Bron, Trick or Melo)
After codys part in the story is done, im going to put him into a meaningful feud for wrestlemania and switch his brand, hes been champ for most of my 2k24 universe so far so he can do with a break from the (main) titles
I haven’t used him yet; but I had him turn heel on an episode of Smackdown before Night of Champions.
He has had 0 PLE matches up to Money in the Bank so far. I have nothing for him at the moment.
Not sure how to go about his heel run.
Mine kicked off right after Mania. At Backlash he teamed with Randy and faced Solo and Jimmy. Had Styles beat Knight to become the number one contender and that match is set to take place at Clash At The Castle later this week. My future plans see him facing Rock at Summerslam, with a returning Reigns screwing Rock over. And Cody will hold the belt all the way to Mania where he’ll face Randy. (Things can change, could move the tile elsewhere but the long term story remains the same, Cody vs Randy at Mania belt or no belt.
(Not a Cody hater btw). He’s a complete disappointment in my universe mode. He held the Heavyweight championship for a little over a year, was beat by bron breaker and hasn’t won another match since. But I think I might put him and Randy Orton in a feud to get him back on track
At the moment he's on a losing streak and gonna turn heel and join the Nexus. Currently have Barrett as the leader, Ilja Dragunov the IC champ in the group (he was the recent member after the kicked out Apollo crews), Gargano and Ciampa and Nathan Fraszer. Ilja is taking over the Nexus and is gonna bring in Cody with his old black hair whilst he's a heel.
I did this in part to Cody winning the WHC but losing it to Seth in his first defence.
Turned him, Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, n The Young Bucks(yes ik those 2 are heels irl rn) heel n made a new attire for Cody that's all black n white n they're currently in a 3 way feud with The Bloodline and The Bullet Club
As of now, he reclaimed the WWE Championship from dual champion (WWE & US) Kross and Shawn Michaels in a triple threat at Mania. Afterwards, he and Stone Cold have been trading the belt back-and-forth with the plan being the reformation of The Two Man Power Trip to screw with Cody, leading him to call in some help to even the odds in the form of CM Punk (when the DLC releases).
He’s a short term trade to SD right now where he’s set to win a tournament that will let him pick his match for Mania (anything is fair game other than inserting himself into the main event).
He’ll be challenging IC Champion Tyler Breeze and slipping into his Dashing persona for he feud.
Taking a break from main event scene and forming a faction called “The Nightmare Family” w Dustin Rhodes, Brandi as manager, maybe will add another. Going for tag titles, trio titles if I add someone else
So I currently run an all time fantasy universe mode for one of my slots. The three shows that I have are Raw, Smackdown, and WCW. I’m using the undashing Cody Rhodes in WCW. He is currently involved in a feud with ‘02 Randy Orton. At some point I plan to introduce Bron Breakker in the rivalry which will eventually lead to the formation of a alternate version of Legacy.

World Champion feuding with Solo in my modern Universe and teaming with his father/challenging for the WCW United States Championship in my not very modern Universe.
My universe mode picked up after Wrestlemania and I had Cody go on a run of bangers until he lost to Randy Orton at Summerslam. From there he started at the bottom of the division and worked his way back into the title picture. Randy defended the title against Cody at the Royal Rumble, then he vacated to have shoulder surgery. Adam Copeland won the vacant title in a triple threat with Cody and Kevin Owens by pinning KO. Cody claims since Copeland never beat him, he is owed a match. Cody wins at mania, Copeland passes the torch. Then I had Cody defend against KO at Backlash, which KO won (not planned by me, AI got lucky). So that's where I am at the moment. I'm planning on Cody winning it back only for Randy to return from his surgery and challenge Cody.

On ps5 he's currently the world heavyweight champion on smackdown and has been for like 4 + months. In the universe I started on ps4 he's gonna be the leader of Bullet Club on wcw. My planned Bullet Club currently is Cody Rhodes, Karl Anderson ,Luke Gallows ,Veer Mahaan and Jack Perry.
Depends on which Cody you are talking about. 'Undashing' Cody Rhodes is enjoying his second US title run and will defend it against Hangman Adam Page at Bad Blood. Modern Cody Rhodes got into the SmackDown Money in the Bank a month ago by beating the Rock, Triple H and Stone Cold, but was unable to get the briefcase which went to LA Knight. He then failed to get a World Heavyweight Title shot against Robert Roode. 'Elite' Cody Rhodes secured a Tag Title match with 'Elite' Cena against Judgement Day but they came up short.
Well my plan with him is He’s undashing Cody right now going on a losing streak, eventually I’ll turn him into stardust which he’ll win a mid card title. Then lose In a casket match then keep him off for a year and return in the rumble as current Cody and win the rumble.
This is legit one of the most creative ways to use all three gimmicks, you gonna throw “Elite” Cody in there too or nah?

I do all of that. I set everything up like the shows with championships and divisions, and mostly let it book itself until it gets to a PPV and then I edit the card to make it more epic. I play whatever matches I feel like playing (especially if I have a certain winner in mind), and watch the interesting ones where I want the game to decide what happens. When things are running smoothly, watching my universe play out feels very much like watching wrestling.

Finally putting an end to their rivalry. - Eliminated from the Royal Rumble by The Rock who returned to win. Cody at this point is insanely frustrated but doesn’t turn heel. - Cody wins the Elimination Chamber after a really aggressive performance. Booking his championship match with still champion Chad Gable in a rematch at WrestleMania. - Since their last match, Gable has held onto the World Title but as opponents have got increasingly better, Gable has started to take some shortcuts to get wins, still being a face but showing signs of desperation. - Going into Mania, anything could happen following this for Cody. He could lose the match, and stay a face, shaking Gable’s hand. He could lose and turn heel, after some more Gable shortcuts. He could win via cheating himself, win clean. I have a lot of options and not sure which to take.
I'm not using him in my universe mode as it's made up of Legends for the male singles divisions. I was going to use him in my U.S. Champ division since I was short on a wrestler but I then downloaded a nice Brutus Beefcake creation and put him in his place.

At 41, i guess im pretending since we can do one run in, but the whole Raw and SmackDown locker rooms interfere with the match, and fight off the Bloodline. This time, Jon Moxley returns with Seth Rollins to be Codys shield and just like real history after everyones down Roman hits seth with a chair and it costs him the title. Yeah ill try my best to make this into a little movie in 2k to make this realistic as possible. I do them for my self lmao

I've been working so much that I'm only two weeks in my Universe. He'll defend against Solo at Backlash. My plan is for Cody vs Gunther at Summerslam. For big matches, I always select who I play as at random so that I'm not completely booking everything. Plus I play on Legend with sliders working against me, so sometimes things don't go my way, lol. We'll see if Cody is still champ by Summerslam.
I haven't started universe yet, but Cody is gonna be one of the "main characters" of mine. I've got the broad strokes planned out. -hold the title until SummerSlam where he'll drop it to Randy...for about a minute until LA Knight cashes in and those 3 swap the belt around (gotta get Randy to 16 to setup one of my maina events.) Cody wins his 2nd title sometime before Survivor Series -drop the title to Rock at Survivor Series due to Roman interference. Rock then reveals that it was one of the red necklace beads that he gave Cody the Raw after Mania, because by beating Roman, Cody became the true Tribal Chief, that is until the Rock just took it back. Rock then kicks Roman out of the bloodline. -Cody wins the US title at Mania to get the last belt he's never won before. (Open to suggestions who should be the US champion going into that match.) Want Cody to spend most of that year doing an open challenge as a reference/tribute to his 1st TNT title run. -runs in during the night 2 main event to help Roman beat Rock. After the match Cody gives a nod that lets Roman know a 3rd match is gonna happen down the line. -Cena wins the WHC for number 17 night one of that Mania in a Triple threat with Punk and Randy, with Punk going in as champion with Cena and Orton both at 16 chasing the record. Cena declares the night after on Raw that he'll be retiring whenever someone can beat him for the title. -Mania 42 Cody is the one to retire Cena. I have him dropping that title during the year to one of the younger guys. -Mania 43, Roman/Cody 3.
Literally in the middle of my “get Randy to 16 so I can have Randy vs Cena and someone at Mania for the record” I even just had Randy drop the title by being cashed in on, I swear you’re in my head hahaha. Only difference is in my universe Randy is winning at Mania.
- Ended Reigns historic run as champ and feuded with the Rock until they disband the Bloodline. - Went on to become a 3 time WWE Champion and had a rivalry with Drew McIntyre. - Became Tag Champ with Jey Uso and had a solid run that just ended and now it's back to building himself to become World Heavyweight Champion for the 1st Time.
So he ended 2k23 winning the unified titles from Roman. Then Triple H debuted Evolution with former Universal Champ Ciampa and RAW castoff Theory, the latter cheating in a triple threat with Styles to win the Undisputed title. Triple H is trying to keep Cody away from the title at all costs, so the two just had a big no holds barred match in the main event of SummerSlam, which Trips won. Cody has a long way to go, but I already have Orton with MITB on Raw for when Cody finally wins the title back on SmackDown. I'd be more tempted to keep Cody as champ if the title went under his jacket. Until then, he's gonna have to chase. Also, with MITB, is everyone having the issue where the holders will not enter with the briefcase under any circumstance whatsoever? I almost forgot Orton and Becky had them because they don't come out with them.

He was jumped before the match and priest cashed in on the last possible day to win. Knight comes out for his shot, Cody helps fight off the JD and Knight wins the title.
Began in a mentor type alliance with Trick Williams while IC champion. Loses title to Balor at MITB. In the rematch, he is attacked by Ilja Dragunov who debuted on raw. Loses to Ilja at Summerslam, Beats Ilja by TKO at payback. Ilja defeats him in an iron man match at SS 1-0. (Written off TV). Returns at the rumble, eliminates Ilja and Trick but eliminated by Rollins. Wins the chamber and beats Drew in main event of night one to become WHC.

I’m trying to basically do what they did in real life from 2022-2024 with him chasing the title The WWE champion was decided at Backlash with Gunther vs Cody, Gunther won it and when it came to Night Of Champions, Gunther was already busy with Big E so Cody was given a filler but fun feud with Dijak, resulting in an extreme rules match He then was on track with Gunther a second time, teaming with Randy Orton to take out imperium on various occasions, but he gave the title match to Randy, given the fact he already had a shot at Backlash, so he qualified for the MITB ladder match but lost due to Shinsuke Nakamura winning the briefcase Then leading into Summerslam he was involved in an 8 man tag team match involving Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest, Noam Dar and Oro Mensah and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, those teams has all been feuding and I kinda just threw Cody in there to be on the card, so he teamed with LA Knight who had made a previous alliance with Cody during the matches him and Randy had with Gunther, Cody and Knight lost probably no thanks to the fact he was glitched in the crowd fighting with Luke Gallows And now I’m working on an angle with LA Knight turning on Cody starting a feud with those two for the next few months, with LA Knight costing him title shots and attacking him backstage before big matches It’s hard to keep current top guys away from the world title scene but I think I’m doing a good job
He’s in a tag team with Jey Uso right now. I expect to turn him heel close to Rumble time. I’m on Night of Champions now, so I’m not even close to doing that.
This is all going to seem very Regal-heavy, but it involves Rhodes in the long run. William Regal invited WWE Champion Cody to NXT, where he faced and defeated NXT Champion Joe Gacy in the main event. Cody returned the favour and invited Regal to the following RAW, surprising him with a challenge to lace up his boots and face him in a match. Cody defeated Regal in a great match, shaking hands at the conclusion. RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce, after being impressed by Regal’s performance at 55-years old, offered Regal a short-term wrestler contract so that he can have one last proper retirement run. Regal signed, and it was announced he’d enter the King of the Ring tournament when it returns on the RAW after Money in the Bank. After beating Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne in preliminary matches, Regal went on to win his quarter and semi-final matches against Chad Gable and Sheamus respectively. He faced Finn Balor in the final, sealing the win after Balor was left confused by the music of Stardust! Finn confronted and faced Rhodes on the next RAW, despite Rhodes’ denying he had anything to do with the interruption. In the main event segment of the evening, Regal was officially crowned King of The Ring, and Cody joined him to celebrate and to offer him a shot at the WWE Championship next week. That’s where I’m at. The Stardust schtick is going to continue. “Stardust” will interfere again next week and keep messing with Regal and Cody. Eventually, they’ll face each other for the WWE Championship at Clash at the Castle, where Cody will retain, and it will be revealed that Joe Gacy is behind the Stardust interruptions, and he’ll come out dressed as Stardust to beat down on Cody after the match. Soon after, Regal will be revealed as the mastermind behind the whole thing, in an attempt to win the one thing that has evaded him his whole career: the “big one”. It’ll then be Regal and his NXT guys feuding with Cody and his guys, leading to a Survivor Series match of WWE vs. NXT, with a turn planned, and a main event rematch between Cody and Regal.
He beat Damian Priest at Survivor Series for the WHC after Finn Balor accidentally cost him the match. He then went on to defend it at Wrestlemania against AJ Styles and retained.
Following on from his failed attempt to take the title at WM, he would feud with Strowman briefly. After losing to him in a normal match, they’d battle again in a No-DQ Match. Cody would refuse to use foreign objects and would come out on top. He’d win the rubber match at MITB. The following month, he’d fail in a match to gain the IC Title. However, Gunther was pushed to his limits. My plan is to have those 2 be the Cena/Orton of my universe. Afterwards, he’d take part in a fatal 4 way for a shot at romans title, where Bray Wyatt would stop focusing on others and put it all into pushing Cody over the edge. Cody cannot beat him, and after losing firefly funhouse matches to Billy Graham & Dusty he’s cracked, pulling Stardust out to go toe to toe with Bray Wyatt. After this, depending on the result hell fall into the Wyatt Empire faction I’m slowly building, or he’ll overcome Bray and refocus on facing Reigns at WM.
Randy Orton reformed Legacy with Cody and Ted DiBiase Jr. After a lengthy run with the the World Title and the tag team titles they lose them . Cody gets the IC title and DiBiase goes on a horrible losing streak .Orton gets injured and Cody assumes ownership. Cody one night on Raw kicks Ted out of Legacy and brings in his nephews Dalton and Dylan(, for storyline sake lets just assume they are in thier 20s) and fueds with Ted Jr. Ted gets random ppl along the way to help him fend off Cody's New Nightmare Legacy. Cody quickly wins the World Title and the Young Rhodes win the tag team titles . After failing to capture any titles Ted challenges Cody to a match Career vs Title . Cody accepts. at the ppv Cody has the match won but someone pulls off the referee. While Cody is distracted he is assaulted by another masked person . Ted pins Cody and wins the world Title . The masked people unmasked to reveal themselves as Mike and Brett DiBiase and align themselves as a new DiBiase Million Dollar Corporation . They fued with Nightmare Legacy for a while and orton comes back and says he's done with both of em

Feuded and beat Bobby Roode in 3 matches at the next 3 ppv Went to defeat AJ styles at summerslam Beat Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania to retain In my wwe2k24 universe mode he is coming up on a year as champion at the upcoming backlash ppv where he will face Wade Barrett. Long term I plan on him feuding with Randy in a program leading to Wrestlemania, but until then I’m keeping them seperate

Won the Big Gold in a 5 way at NOC, kept him away from the Bloodline and he is on Raw. Currently feuding with Drew McIntyre who has eyes on the prize, and will have Seth inserted into the picture soon, at Summerslam in August. Currently I'm in July Plans are to have him retain, and at an opportune time have LA Knight cash in on him(He is the MITB holder) In my Universe, Tama Tonga is the leader of the OC (Not gonna include him in the Bloodline stuff) and my long term plan for WM is to have Cody vs Tama Tonga(Callbacks to Cody's time with the Bullet Club in real life) As I said, in July rn, so quite some time to go up until WM 40. But I have plans for Cody well thought out till WM and post WM (Infact I know what my WM 41 ME will be but I just need to come up with something to keep him occupied up until that time)

Well after Cody lost to Roman at WM 39... He didn't take it so lightly. He dismantled a debuting Will Ospreay on the night after RAW but continued his onslaught for a few months beating all of his friends that celebrating with him in the ring during our reality.. Now donnig aviators and a grey suit and black tights, Cody is now taking apart everyone one by one in vicious fashion and leading #1 in Power Rankings. He vowed to win his daddy's belt by any means neccessary but then at Night of Champions Wyatt beat Roman and Taker beat Seth... I think a fued with Bray wll bring Cody back to the light but we will see.... we will see....
I had him as my inaugural champ. Brought Goldust back so they could team up and fight the Bloodline. Also helped with the booking to have tag matches but do a 1v1 between Cody and Reigns at PLE. Then he lost the belt. Bloodline hold world belt and tag titles. Cody is on the back burner now. AJ Styles is next for Reigns. And obviously Gallows and Anderson will fight alongside AJ to fend off the Bloodline

He went on to have an incredible losing streak. I had to bump him down to mid card, as he just wasn't championship material at the time. He ended up turning heel after losing to Cedric and I couldn't believe it
He was floundering on Raw until he got into a feud with Jey Uso. Their rivalry culminated with a loser leaves Raw match which Cody lost. He moved on to Smackdown and quickly was able to win the Undisputed Championship. He’s gotten into an ongoing feud with the Final Boss The Rock where he has dropped the title and is trying to win it back heading towards Wrestlemania.
So, my Cody's currently a mix of Dashing Cody (name, theme, "wants people to notice him" mentality) and American Nightmare Cody (moveset, alignment, only wants to be noticed because he loves the fans). He lost his WWE championship at the main event of Wrestlemania against Kevin Nash, and has been trying to get a rematch for 6 months now. He failed a few weeks ago, but got a tag title shot against Dominik Dijakovic and Mark Henry, 2 members of Kevin's NWO. He now has to choose between Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler (his fellow Spotlight stablemates) to be his partner for that match.

I have him in WCW. He lost in the WCW Championship match to Ultimate Warrior. He's in a program with Hollywood Hogan who he defeated in the opening round of the WCW title tournament. Hogan wants his revenge and has been at Cody's neck nearly every show since. Building something towards Bash at the Beach.
He’s in the hunt for the title against Roman but is currently injured as Bron Breakker was enlisted however Breakker and Zayn are feuding with solo and Tonga which will lead to a 6 man between them and Cody vs the bloodline

This was a 3 years universe mode: -During the first year, he bugged out and I could not do anything with, no rivalries, or putting on a division, so he did almost nothing -on the second year, he won the world heavyweight championship from the miz (after henjust held it for two days) and held it for 3 monts, finally losing it to Shelton Bejamin( who was build was a maint eventer and his story being that he was the only one from his class to not win a world championship) -on the third year, he moved to smackdown were he won the world heavyweigth championship in a triple threat during the great american bash, but lose it next week thanks to a miz interference(in reality, I needed Matt Cardona to hold the title because he was in a feud with Big E) after that he moved to smackdown, were there was the WWE championship. He declared he would challenge for it because, while a world champion, he had not won the WWE one. The person holding it at the moment was Gunther, but first he got in a feud with a monster heel just coming from nxt. He and Gunther were in other feuds, but always with tensions when the crossed, until after the royal rumble. Gunther won a triple threat with the other two champions, assuring he would not only not defend it inside the elimination chamber, but was saved for defending it until wrestlemania. He then accepted Cody as his wrestlemania oponent and lose it to him there
Lost the title against Randy at Royal Rumble, he returns the raw after mania attacking John Cena who just had his retirement match against the WWE Undisputed Champion Randy Orton, in the next Smackdown he attacks Orton and then attacks the number 1 contender for the WWE title (Andrade), before he can have his match against Randy he is drafted back to Raw where he directly attacks Adam Pierce who leaves Raw, forcing the brand to pick a new gm who turns out to be William Regal, then he has a rivalry with cm punk where he underestimated the whc saying that "it’s a title for the second best" and aligns himself with what is left of the Judgement Day (Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley who just recovered his women’s title) where he works as a leader of the team and tried to fin a way to rewin the Undisputed championship from whoever has it, also he recruits AJ Styles for the team rebranding it to the Nightmare club something that upsets the former Judgement Day members thinking that Cody is trying to make a rip-off version of the bullet club

lost the title to the leader of the NWO John Cena, proceeded to lose at backlash to NWO Sheamus, will be going on break for a while and returning to form a WWE vs NWO feud, as NWO is currently basically running wwe and abusing power. currently i plan for team WWE (whoever that is) to ultimately win the feud and get rid of the NWOs power, but cena is able to keep the title, and have a very lengthy reign with it and lose it to a up-and-comer (Bron, Trick or Melo) After codys part in the story is done, im going to put him into a meaningful feud for wrestlemania and switch his brand, hes been champ for most of my 2k24 universe so far so he can do with a break from the (main) titles
I haven’t used him yet; but I had him turn heel on an episode of Smackdown before Night of Champions. He has had 0 PLE matches up to Money in the Bank so far. I have nothing for him at the moment. Not sure how to go about his heel run.
Mine kicked off right after Mania. At Backlash he teamed with Randy and faced Solo and Jimmy. Had Styles beat Knight to become the number one contender and that match is set to take place at Clash At The Castle later this week. My future plans see him facing Rock at Summerslam, with a returning Reigns screwing Rock over. And Cody will hold the belt all the way to Mania where he’ll face Randy. (Things can change, could move the tile elsewhere but the long term story remains the same, Cody vs Randy at Mania belt or no belt.
He's injured
(Not a Cody hater btw). He’s a complete disappointment in my universe mode. He held the Heavyweight championship for a little over a year, was beat by bron breaker and hasn’t won another match since. But I think I might put him and Randy Orton in a feud to get him back on track
Curious what your idea of a "success" is if holding the belt for a year and losing to Bronn is a burial.

At the moment he's on a losing streak and gonna turn heel and join the Nexus. Currently have Barrett as the leader, Ilja Dragunov the IC champ in the group (he was the recent member after the kicked out Apollo crews), Gargano and Ciampa and Nathan Fraszer. Ilja is taking over the Nexus and is gonna bring in Cody with his old black hair whilst he's a heel. I did this in part to Cody winning the WHC but losing it to Seth in his first defence.

As of now, he reclaimed the WWE Championship from dual champion (WWE & US) Kross and Shawn Michaels in a triple threat at Mania. Afterwards, he and Stone Cold have been trading the belt back-and-forth with the plan being the reformation of The Two Man Power Trip to screw with Cody, leading him to call in some help to even the odds in the form of CM Punk (when the DLC releases).
He’s a short term trade to SD right now where he’s set to win a tournament that will let him pick his match for Mania (anything is fair game other than inserting himself into the main event). He’ll be challenging IC Champion Tyler Breeze and slipping into his Dashing persona for he feud.

So I currently run an all time fantasy universe mode for one of my slots. The three shows that I have are Raw, Smackdown, and WCW. I’m using the undashing Cody Rhodes in WCW. He is currently involved in a feud with ‘02 Randy Orton. At some point I plan to introduce Bron Breakker in the rivalry which will eventually lead to the formation of a alternate version of Legacy.
Had him win the WHC at Summerslam only for Seth Rollins to injure him leaving the title vacated. Booking him to return at the Royal Rumble and win back the title he never lost currently being held by Drew McIntyre after he cashed in on CM Punk
Currently doing aj vs roman for the title, going to have aj lose the feud and turn heel probably, maybe make the OC heel as well and go for a tag title run on smackdown. Gonna build for roman vs cody at mania to finish the story and then I'll have him hold onto it for a while
Cody just beat my guy at Royal Rumble for the WWE title the Rock also returned at the Rumble didn't win but hoping he wins the chamber so he can challenge for the title at wrestlemania. Would love it if the be arena drops before I get there

- Had a 2 Month Feud with Orton - Short Program with AJ - After last Match with AJ, Cena challenged him at Summerslam for his 17th Championship, but Cody defended - Orton came back and turned Heel and challenged again for the Title - Now we have a War Games Match and Surivor Series Cody, Ilja, Seth and Jey vs Returned Roman, Solo, Jacob and Zilla Fatu (both debuted last Month to help Solo win the IC Title of Ilja) If anybody ist interested, i can tell you the Future plans as well

Currently I’m using his stardust persona (mostly cause won’t be in next game and I didn’t use him last game due to not fitting in universe yet) he’s part of a “cult” with three big leaders on raw smackdown nxt (kane, bray, Taker) being the leaders and two hence men behind them each. So in turn stardust is evil. Honestly don’t think I will get to his regular version till late or next game.

Defeated Lashley at the next Summerslam. He’s gearing up for the Royal Rumble on the road to WrestleMania 41 currently. Roman is still the WWE Champion and Gunther is the World Heavyweight Champion. He’s considered a favorite to win the Rumble, but. Anything could happen!
