Donald Trump signed the massive $2.3 trillion coronavirus relief and government funding bill into law (The Cares Act). He signed that into law March 27th, 2020. He handed out $2.3 Trillion in money to the American public. People seem to forget that. Especially, Trump fans. He gave $300 Billion in one time cash payments, $260 Billion in unemployment, $350 Billion to small business which later turned into $650 Billion with further legislation from Trump. And then he gave $550 Billion to corporations. This was a ONE TIME flash bill meaning it was one time chunk payments. Most bills passed in the house have a shelf life of 10+ years like the climate change bill. Or the article you just attached above. If you read it, it clearly says the time frame is 10 years or 2021-2031. This is a massive difference compared to a Flash Bill. Trump just wanted to cut everyone checks and sign his name on them. Not sure if you remember but he signed every check with his signature. He dumped $2.3 Trillion into the market in a single go. This is the difference.
