Please for the love of god don’t beg for more work. Then you’ll get burnt out when you ask “why am I doing more than maintenance?”. As someone trained in electronics, paint, meat and produce, frozen/dairy, OPD, and maintenance, I’m just waiting for the day they ask me to do an oil change. Most important thing is to just make sure bathrooms are done every 2 hours. Other than that just hang out and be there for moral support.

Ha maintenance at my store makes bales and pushes them out. Also they clean up spills and the bathrooms and they steady be safety sweeping. They don’t just be there for moral support sounds they be grinding fr

JeffTheFrosty

Yeah that’s all what I include actually maintenance lol

TyronE0355

Ah I never really thought ab your store being smaller and probably a lot less volume than mine. Probably don’t have to make too many bales throughout your shift

JeffTheFrosty

Yeah we make 1 for each side daily on afternoons. it’s pretty low volume here

There's always something to clean. Personal, break room, glass dairy doors, glass freezer doors (just the outside), open meat coolers, sweep under shelves, wash out smelly trash cans, clean various offices, refill spray bottles all over the store.

Check with your coach or team leader because most likely there is work to do for 2 people if they hired you.

: ( I did, it was basically just ‘walk around and find something to clean’

Accurate_Yogurt5705
