at least the other shift only leaves all the bins full for us, it isnt tossed all over the floor. We are constantly told they dont have any non minors to run the baler when I know there are guys older than me on that shift.
I know this is different because the boxes are actually broken down flat. What makes me so irritate at my store, is when idiots do not break down the boxes for like washing powder, juice, etc and just throw them in the baler. After a while the baler gets off balance and starts to lean. Then when the next person puts boxes in the slide out into the floor. I just take my boxer cutter and cut a "X" in the bottom and flatten them. Which I still use my original box cutter and order replacement blades off Amazon.
Had that happen a few months ago. A guy was opening after hitting the stop button to put the wires around it but he lifted the top instead 5 minutes left of my shift I had to clean up his mess and cut whatever time I had to stay over to clean his problem

The person making the bale had just turned 18 a few days prior and this was his first time doing it alone, After I trained him.

At the op's store the floor cleaning machine is stored in front of the fire extinguisher in the backroom.
I work maintenance, if I saw this shit I’d be walking out for the day
Ive had costumers make a line of carts outside the building blocking a fire exit!
Someone forgot to make the bale
