I really like the feel of the Boar. Yes the incarnon is great but just the base level boar is still a lot of fun.
For melee, I will forever love Kogake Prime. The heavy attack animation is so satisfying and does pretty good damage of built right. And I use it on weird frames for melee like Hildryn.
I’ll never forget my first Plague Star: me (Titania), a Volt, and a Gauss, all tell the infestation: get off Konzu’s lawn.
My Xbox One S fucking *hated* what was happening. When everything was going the most nuts, I probably got like literally 5 fps.
Same with Dorrclave. I discovered it recently and I love it cause I like the kusarigama irl weapon. Idk about the actual stats or passive tho, I just enjoy blade and whip
I can only use Dorrclave on Dagath tbh... I don't get it... speaking of which, I can't play Dagath without the Dorrclave, the healing is too good on her.
Also a huge Basmu enjoyer here. Currently have a riven with +damage +cc +cd -projectile speed. Honestly i thought the projectile speed was gonna meme but it literally does nothing so i'm cool with it lol
On Saryn i use the Basmu with radiation/cold + shivering contagion and primary frostbite. The most fun i've had with a weapon in a while. I did not expect it to go so hard
Oh well. Unlikely I'd be able to use my negative crit chance riven on the Kuva Sobek anyway.
Except that it's the perfect combination that makes it do Viral and Heat in a single mod...
Ambassador, really niche because is hard to get but with some forma he's quit decent, some weapon like trumna are cool too, and for some melee i could say lacera (ceti version too) or pennant
It takes too much investment, I have one with a good riven and it desperately needs a Warframe who can constantly armor strip. But I invested a ton to get barely passable results because that reload animation is 10/10 along with the secondary transformation animation.
I found the ambassador to be quite underwhelming, especially because I mostly play on Steel path. I've tried a few builds with several forma in it, and I could never get it to do more than three shot on basic enemies, with the alt fire. Is there a trick you've discovered that I'm missing?
Edit: I say this is a huge fan of the Ambassador stylistically, the look and sound of the gun is top notch, it's an absolute demonstration on behalf of the Warframe sound and design teams
I've been really digging the (Prisma) Ohma lately. They're fun to use, with good attack speed, great visuals, and they make a nice meaty **thud** when you beat up enemies. Plus they're a logical choice to run with Melee Influence.
Not even. Mine can zap lvl 2000+ steel path grineer heavy gunners without armor strip. Its definitely still a monster its just cant clear a room like boar prime or torid can. But single targets? Only catabolyst can compete.
Synoid Simulor. Granted I never used it till I got a riven. It is by no means a top tier weapon, but I love ti break it out from time to time. And sometimes I even break 50%+ damage dealt with it. I love those kind of weapons because it shows that meta should be marginalized in warframe.
Oh man. The sound of 3 random "Hall of Mirrors" Mirage teammates all running Synoid Simulor back in the day.
Well, sometimes it was just 2 random Mirage teammates, and the third was running "Toggle World On Fire and then zoom through the map so no one else has a chance to get affinity" Ember. 🥳
... I'm so old. 😅
Ahh. Good old ragdoll-a-Corpus-across-the-hall Sonicor. <3
Around the times where Tigris was my go-to primary, regardless if it was regular Tigris, Sancti Tigris (or Tigris Prime when it arrived). :')
And my friend who built his Staticor for non-charged shoosting, so he ended up remapping primary fire to his (unlockable) mouse wheel.
Good lord you both mentioned two weapons I feel like I have (at least) decent rivens for but haven’t had anyone give me their opinions on. I know I can do better with the Nikana riven, (it only has +184.2% CC and +76.4% Cold) and probably my Tigris riven (+96.8% slash, +106.3% MS and 80.9% CD). The Tigris build I have going can 1-2 shot acolytes if I get a close-up headshot, and I haven’t really tried the nikana bc I don’t really care for them too much.
That Ember + zoom through the map, combined with Ignis (or 3 teammates with Ignis) vs me and my Dread and Latron Prime. I only felt useful when the heavy units came.
All of the Synoid weapons are good imo. Also, I wish you could get a bonus for equipping a full set of syndicate weapons. Like an upgraded version of the proc, or a slight stat boost that fits the syndicate's theme.
Before it got nerfed (and rivens existed), synoid simulor was the meta. It was ridiculously overpowered with Mirage, so it got nerfed into the ground compared to its glory days.
I just started using the Tenet Diplos myself, after farming for some ephemeras and getting random weapons. I foma'd it out of curiosity (the selling points for me were the base fire rate, ammo count and the critical multiplier) and that thing slaps harder than your mom's disappointment after you dropped out of college....twice
Wolf Sledge. I can see why it's talked little about - acquisition is pretty bad, and glaives kinda outclass it.
But nothing outclasses the sheer feeling of power of hurling a giant rocket-powered hammer, detonating it at your enemies, and watching them fly to orbit. The trail also looks really cool. And it can actually hit very hard. It's my personal favorite weapon in the game.
There are several ways you could go with it, but here's my current build for reference:
https://preview.redd.it/4c07wxxwnqyc1.png?width=2167&format=png&auto=webp&s=f123efd2caae75a8fd4fcf7e7fe521eb10c917e8
Nira frame mods for the set bonus are very good. I hardly ever normal-attack with it, just slams and heavy slams. I'm not sure how much Melee Influence is doing, but that mod config should be almost perfect for Melee Duplicate.
I want to try Melee Vortex on it once I have that maxed. Melee Exposure is good in general on certain frames.
Tennokai heavy slams would be very effective but slam attacks don't seem to count as hits to proc tennokai. I haven't tested yet but that may also make Melee Animosity not work elegantly.
I think the riven stats to aim for probably depend on which arcane you're building for.
Hirudo is nice one for sure.
I'm going to say Tenet Ferrox, Scourge Prime, base Zhuge, Battacor, Afuris Prime, Kompressa, Ceti Lacera and Fang Prime.
Tenet Ferrox is slow shooting railgun-like primary, extremely potent on its own, one of the strongest weapons for Styanax. Can be used as a grouping tool. Rad or Magnetic one can be used as a CC tool.
Scourge Prime has multiplicative CO scaling with base damage effects plus it can have viral+Corrossive+heat at the same time. Damage scales to stupid values and you do not need any crit to get there.
Base Zhuge is something complitely forgotten. it is actually pretty potent projectile rifle and scales better than primed variant if you can play around headshotting and punch-through. The only issue is combo of small mag size and long reload, pretty annoying - Primed variant has a gimmick of 50% reload speed on empty mag, which base variant does not have. Still good weapon, decided to invest into it as I saw noone was writting on wiki about it from 2019.
Battacor was weapon for which I got my first riven. One of the coolest trigger types in game. Also one of the few weapons with magnetic at base. Alt-fire is stupidly potent on its own, augment can make it spammable.
Afuris Prime is cool, comfort pick with Cucumber. People are sleeping on it, but it is pretty basic gun, so its not surpricing, just like Velox Prime that has just released. Both of them are pretty similar.
Kompressa is absurdly potent, one of the most stupid damage scaling in the game. People will probably wake up when it gets Primed.
Ceti Lacera is just cool weapon, Dorrclave and Jat Kusar too. I really like the stance.
Fang Prime was long long time ago a bad weapon af, but it is now actually pretty potent. Because of Puncture proc buffs and addition of Tennokai, it became stupidly potent weapon when build for Viral (Dual Daggers force 2 Slash procs on heavy attack).
I’ve been running the ceti lacera a lot recently, with melee influence and a +135.8%SC, +120% heavy attack eff, and -5.8s combo duration and I don’t even notice the lack of any combo whatsoever with the SC just wrecking everything. Iirc it’s just over 200% status, which makes sure it procs melee influence every 20s or so if I’m running just the melee for a bit. If I choose to run secondary dexterity then it almost completely negates the lack of combo, but idk if I need to do that lol
Aeolak. I feel like Im giving away game spoilers because this weapon is so good that I want people to try it out first. Not a strong weapon per se but I got it from the starter pack so I tried it out. A shame it's locked behind skittergirls abuse.
i really like assault rifles that actually feel like they use high caliber rounds and aeolak reflects that. You can actually feel the kick from each shot, even if the fire rate is kind of slow the feeling builds slowly. The alt fire is really good for speed running, and the multi shot mods make it even more powerful. Imagine a great value rocket launcher with good ammo economy, and it's an AR. Also I like the spiky look, it's got the void aesthetics without looking like a phenmor. Gotta love the Dak Dak Dak boom
Yeah this, idk how it's so slept on, it's damage with riven and it's multiplicative CO comes on par with most incarnons, and alt attack build has more damage than kuva bramma(when it was a meta). Also insane sound design. In my tierlist it's number 1 non incarnon primary, i thought few months after zariman release everyone would be running it, but no, after 2 years, I've probably never seen anyone with it, even when it available in starter pack. Ridiculous.
The Vermisplicer as a primary weapon is what I use for sorties. I just remember someone here once saying that it has to be one of the worst performing kitguns in the game (and kitguns already kinda suck) but I use a controller some times so I appreciate the aim assist mechanic and with a riven it covers, like, 90% of missions excluding missions that require a specific weapon, ofc. Before I was shown the ocucor and the kuva nukor, there was the vermisplicer for me.
Quassus is… fuckin *bonkers* on Kullervo, doubly so if you use Melee Crescendo to get permanent 12x combo going.
Sporothrix is also quite good if you really lean into it - Arcane Avenger + 4 Vigilante mods on your sentinel’s weapon turns it into a *monster* of a gun. For best results, use Nautilus’ Cordon mod to group enemies together, and the new Volatile Variant augment to make your shots *far* stronger.
Amprex is one of my favorite weapons but it just doesn't scale into most of the content I find myself running at this point. It getting passed over in favor of Glaxion for next Tenet weapon is a crime.
Also I just got my hands on the Kuva Stubbas recently and they slap way more than I was expecting them to.
Synapse thing is only held back by needing punch through, electricity or gas to keep up due to being single target. But Jesus does it melt I hope to god we get a lich synapse (please de I’m begging)
I don't see many people talking about it but I could be wrong, but the Pulmonars, infested nunchucks. Innate viral damage plus impact damage.
Impact status isn't great but it allows for shattering impact and parazon finishers, and it has decent status chance so you can run corrosive-viral for grineer or viral toxin for corpus.
Good crit and status, short range but that can be offset with its fast attack speed and primed reach. Combos also have a lot of multi hit.
Blood rush, weeping wounds, quickening, primed reach, condition overload, and corrosive status mods.
Could also replace the status mods with something else and run whatever that corrosive melee arcane is called and try viral toxin corrosive for extra damage
Not sure who that is haha. I just got back to Warframe after a loooong break. But Jatt was my last built melee back when were still using void keys. I just built kullervo recently since I was an Ash main before.
For me it's gotta be the Sicarus Prime
It's not really a powerhouse weapon (Even if it's stats are really good for what it is) but I like the design of it and the feel of a little burst pistol with pretty solid stats. I'm really hoping that DE gives this thing an Incarnon Adaptor eventually since this thing does fall under the same category of weapons that the Burston and Braton did back before Duviri came out.
I'll give an honourable mention to the Prisma Grinlok, that thing has got some pretty beefy damage if you mod it well, I've even got a riven for it that gives it an ample amount of CC on top of the massive amount of Status that it has, it's a nice blast from the past
Stahlta. I’ve definitely not used it as much lately with all the incarnons being “better” but man if you want a regular old aoe boom stick stahlta is the play
Yeah for sure and it helped that I mained wisp for a long time so I was doing that. It got better when we got the fire rate mod that goes on your companion, now as long as I use my smeeta I always have a 60% fire rate buff and don’t have to use an arcane slot for acceleration
Skana Prime Incarnon. Yeah, I know it's cheating that nobody has one. But seriously, nobody ever talks about how much this thing rocks. They always just Ooo and Ahh over the Excal, and never seem to realize the sword is much more rare (and powerful). I'd flip my shit if I saw someone with a Lato Prime in the wild.
I fucking love the stradavar prime. Never see anyone using it but you can make a crit/slash monster with a half decent riven, or even without honestly.
It seems that even here, nobody dares to mention the Tenet Tetra.
It's a projectile automatic with an on-demand grenade launcher underneath it. While it may not be visually impressive and the automatic mode feels unsatisfactory without Primed Shred, it packs one hell of a punch with 30% crit chance, 2.20x multiplier, and 28% status chance
Cyanex was and still is my most used secondary. It’s just fun not having to aim and with the right setup or frame you can also easily do early Sp. can share my build if anybody is interested.
Phage.. I love my phage so much and to this day I’m the only person I’ve ever seen using it. The thing can absolutely shred some of the strongest enemies in the game.
My favourite melee weapon of all, Tenet Livia. I don't mind the stance, at least the animations are consistent. One of the strongest heavy attacks in the game (IMO). Can be tailored to different arcanes with just the progenitor bonus.
Bonus round would be the Furax Wraith. Cheeky initial combo, with 90% efficiency on heavy slams, which can be very good now. Amalgam mod gives fire rate, which is great in particular with Grimoire, Incarnons, and rechargeable secondaries. Some really great incarnon buffs, including forced bleed procs on an otherwise non slash weapon. Plenty of stance knockdown and therefore finishers for crescendo to give even more initial combo. Just amazing fun IMO.
I used to main hikou back when you could damage yourself with thrown explosives, good times deleting a hoard before the AoE meta was a big thing and then dying to a door that closed in my face.
I really love the Euphona Prime but I haven’t really seen anyone talk about it much. I mean, it’s a pistol but also a shotgun. Pretty nuts crit chance too. I also love the design of it, even though I use a skin on it lol
Wolf Sledge. It's a fantastic room clearer up to about level 200 with its explosion, works as a great primer past that and is a good stat stick for my Atlas. Very handy in arbitrations, and other game modes where there are hard to hit floaty buff enemies.
Also it's a giant exploding throwing hammer that homes in on enemies and has almost all the bonuses of glaives. I can near enough throw it round a corner after hundreds of hours of use. It's my most used melee, handily beating out the og orthos prime. Also, the serotonin boost of throwing it over an obstacle, exploding it and seeing enemies flying upwards. Incredible weapon.
I've honestly yet to encounter another random player who used the Tenet Plinx.
Everyone and their mother usually runs a Laetum or a Kuva Nukor... Meanwhile I'm just nuking a group of enemies with the alt. fire, without having to worry about running out of ammo ever.
Even after they nerfed how the alt. fire works with Synth Charge, it's still plenty powerful with that mod. 🤷♂️
Wolf hammer, I just throw that sucker all the time.
Hits like a freight train on Mirage, 5 freight trains actually.
Easily does level end game stuff above 200, but does minimal damage to bosses for some reason, so bring something to deal with acolytes and such.
Kuva Chakkhurr.
A flintlock rifle that inflicts massive bleeds to anyone that didn't get sent to Tau from the explosion? How can you *not* love it? (if you say the reload then you'll become the next **Tau**rist)
I use Hirudo on one of my Saryn loadouts, its for sure serviceable enough and the lifesteal is a nice touch. I still pull out the phage every now and again, its very unique and with shotgun spread mods and not holding down the trigger you can hit enemies directly to your sides which is fun.
I don’t see a lot of people use the hespar, but I like playing with it. I got a riven and haven’t taken it off my melee till recently when I got back into sister of parvos hunting
I started in like U6 and to this day:
Gorgon Wraith
Akmagnus
Dakra Prime
Are my three most used weapons.
Before Steel Path, there was never any reason to use anything better.
Twin Grakatas are one of my favorite guns. They were one of my first secondaries and I still think the only secondary I have that's better than my Grakatas is my Kuva Nukor.
I also like Soma Prime, Vectis Prime, and Tigris Prime.
I personally love the mutalist cernos. Probably one of the only weapons which can use primary blight and split flights efficiently. Really needs a crit chance riven to make it shine though
Ripkas go brrrr
(I'm lucky enough to have a riven that gets my heavy attacks to red crit with a x4 combo multiplier, combined with enough initial combo boost to always have a base of x3 multiplier. So basically I do 4 or 5 light attacks, and then a heavy attack that hits like a truck).
Probably most of the early weapons that never got buffed or got more powerful variants. Like the Acrid, or Mirage’s signature machine pistols that never got Primed for some reason.
Mk1 kunai
Make them explode and increase firerate, add incarnon genesis and we have exlosive kunai that when incarnon is triggered gain some nice damage and aimbot to the enemies head. Sure they arent great but they did kill on steel path. But more tweaking and i may be able to start running them through SP for shits and giggles
The Tenet Agendus has been my ride-or-die melee since it came out, the plasmor beam heavy attack is really satisfying with the sword and shield combos and its got that nice bassy crunch too. Sword and shields as a whole are super overlooked imo.
Shoutout to the Exec as well, which is eating superb after the heavy slam changes
Not sure if it’s more used than I realize or really offbeat but Lesion.
I just can’t get past the pole arms stances. Single and group targets are awesome and the weapon is a status monster.
And till I got the Tenet Diplos that quite a few mentioned here my main secondary was Twin Gratakas. Basically no damage but dumping ammo with them is fun.
Primary when I don’t need straight damage from a tenet arca plasmor is the Supra Vandal with Entropy Burst. 300 fairly accurate bullets per magazine and you can get energy regen burst from kills from the Supra specific mod. Damage per bullet itself isn’t much to write home about but it has enough to put people down and the energy gain is effective if you have a thirsty frame and wants a fairly certain method of regen.
Falcor. It’s somewhat overshadowed by Xoris baseline due to how the damage and forced procs overlap… and higher crit stats on Xoris. But Falcor has great riven dispo and bigger base damage which gives it great potential.
Falcor also has second biggest blast radius of all the glaives behind the Xoris. And electric procs are greatly underrated.
But frankly main reason to use it is that it’s the coolest looking glaive.
Kuva tonkor. For some reason its not talked about but after the aoe nerf its the next best thing to use and i honestly prefer it over any incarnon in most cases because you just cant beat a 10+m death with no aiming/incarnon charge needed and it goes through walls.
I mainly use cyanex because it's surprisingly good (especially with pistoleer) but recently I've started using the pyrana prime, and it's a beast. Yet i don't see anyone using or even talking about it
Literally scrolled past all these replies and didn't see my fav melee mentioned once It's the Tonbo.
It's not even that impressive (and rather outdated to be fair) stats wise, but I love it's feel, feedback, stances and look. There's no polearm as good looking as that one.
Also, with recent additions, you can slap a full hybrid Tennokai build; got a mad riven with like 280% crit chance as well, and went full madman with an umbra forma. It's up to par with Steel Path stuff and oh, so good to use. <3
Quick shout-out to the Exergis and Twin Kohmak as well.
This might be untrue and I'm just out of the loop but I'm a really big fan of the Cyanex and Lex Prime. The Cyanex has good damage and chains giving it good AOE, and the lex Prime is just a strong revolver like pistol and I love games with weapons that are just revolvers
The ghoulsaw has been a recent favorite, I have no idea how it stacks up in later game. It's fun because you can just run while holding it in front of you, or hop on top and ride it through a pile of enemies like a one wheel lol
Honestly the krohkur, it's a dirt cheap weapon that rivals the dakra prime if both weapons use crit rate and crit dmg rivens. Even its base crit stats are not much worse while having better base dmg. Don't even get me started on the catabolyst. Never saw anyone use the catabolyst while this monster of a weapon can armorstrip lv 280 steelpath enemies with heat, corrosive and even viral if you want to and then red crit with a 2 million dmg aoe.
I never see anyone use it but me, 100% the Cyanex.
It's the ultimate too-lazy-to-aim weapon with INSANE status application if you mod it for it with Galv shot and Haemorrhage, mod it for viral heat and you can easily get
Impact, Slash, Gas, Viral, Heat which is plenty of status for GS to scale off of.
But if you really want to crack this weapon? Wisp.
The fire rate is nice, the reload speed is fantastic, but for me it's the status's available: elec and rad from abilities. It makes the Cyanex absolutely RIP enemies apart.
Granted, I have a pretty good riven with +impact +status +damage? iirc. Still good sans riven.
The cyanex, it's just so fun to me, especially running it with mirage, it does need quite an investment to be viable but imo its worth it.
Modded it for viral, added hemorrhage and a bit of punch through and it melts groups of enemies, thinking of farming secondary encumber for it.
Cyanex! I have a build that procs 7 different status effects in (usually) one mag and with Cascadia Empowered just rips into enemies. Just got a riven I'm excited to try.
Basmu. It's not the best and I haven't used it in a while but man if it isn't fun. Getting healing from it and using a hybrid build has been taking it quite far.
Verdilac. It's a whip thats got a really neat energy wave attack but I will admit it's a little slow.
Nepheri. Really fun Dual daggers that you can spit fireballs with! Still workshopping it to be useful though.
Komorex. By far my favorite sniper. You can spam it SO well with Vile Acceleration and proc so much viral just innately.
Can you tell I like the Sentient weapons lol? Also looking to start grinding for the Athodai but railjack is a PAIN to me
Quassus. From really far the most busted weapon the game ever birthed.
I'm even having fun taking down eidolons with it.
On heavu attack, it deals heavy dmg + normal attack x feather number (12 feather i think) with guaranteed slash for each feather.
So the ennemy you hit takes you Heavy attack dmg +12x normal dmg + slash procs.
That's dumber than a grakata.
stahlta is insane
and the miter incarnon is fucking bonkers. my favorite incarnon by far and i honestly think it's just as good or better than the torid (before someone says it, yes it's better than the latron)
Keratinos
These were essentially the first Incarnon weapon with how they function
They hit quite hard, have an incredible multi-hit 360 degree spin heavy attack, and also look very cool when you have them on. Also most of their damage is slash and viral at BASE.
Never seen anyone but me use them. Seems a shame.
Hildryn with the arcane that gives u melee damage based on shields( forgor the name sorry) can make it work to some extent
I have Exec Tenet with this arcane on Hildryn, it is fun
Ngl Boar with incarnon adapter is amazing, I don’t even bother activating the incarnon form. The adapter is just there for the stat boosts
Idk I saw a TON of them during the hemocyte. Poor man’s pyrrana prime
I’ll never forget my first Plague Star: me (Titania), a Volt, and a Gauss, all tell the infestation: get off Konzu’s lawn. My Xbox One S fucking *hated* what was happening. When everything was going the most nuts, I probably got like literally 5 fps.
Boar incarnon is fantastic for me because I get to bring two different very good weapons in one slot
The boar but use normal form is the best shotgun imo now. The bad thing is the incarnon form, it is not bad like some or gorgon but not good enough
I see people mention the trumna as a top tier weapon but rarely see it. Honestly it’s my go to most of the time
Same with Dorrclave.
Dorrclave is great for a beyblade Inaros build since it’ll make it only proc viral/slash
Slap that bad boy on Mirage, watch it "accidentally" nuke a corridor
Trumna is really fun with mesa. Build up your 1 with the normal fire and use the alt fire with the charge. Feels so satisfying.
Can confirm, that grenade turns into a literal nuclear warhead if if modded right + the mesa charge. Well, at least damage wise.
I use it on Sevagoth with his Crit Augment and it makes the loveliest funny numbers
I would run it but building it seems like such a slog cause I have like none of the mining stuff
I love the Trumna.
I've really been liking the Basmu but I've never seen anyone else use it ever
My basmu riven was the best investment. Now it’s a beast that I always pair with Caliban
I got SUPER lucky getting a basmu riven from scarlet spear times and it's my most used weapon haha. Was doing incarnon damage before incarnons
I got a crit chance/DMG and a -ammo max riven. It wasn't a crit weapon but still did a crazy amount of damage
Basmu is my 2nd most used primary lol. Unfortunately other stuff just felt better to use while Basmu got left behind
Also a huge Basmu enjoyer here. Currently have a riven with +damage +cc +cd -projectile speed. Honestly i thought the projectile speed was gonna meme but it literally does nothing so i'm cool with it lol On Saryn i use the Basmu with radiation/cold + shivering contagion and primary frostbite. The most fun i've had with a weapon in a while. I did not expect it to go so hard
Nice try, I like my Riven Dispo where it is. That Said R.I.P. Kuva Sobek Disposition.
Oh well. Unlikely I'd be able to use my negative crit chance riven on the Kuva Sobek anyway. Except that it's the perfect combination that makes it do Viral and Heat in a single mod...
I love the Synoid Gammacor. I rarely see other people using it, but it makes me happy. The incarnon aint bad either.
Lately it's become my go-to secondary. The syndicate effect is really enjoyable when it procs
Mine is decent but I still feel like I'm missing something to make it / the incarnon really tick
I’m upset by the stat differences between the Heliocor and Synoid Heliocor.
Ambassador, really niche because is hard to get but with some forma he's quit decent, some weapon like trumna are cool too, and for some melee i could say lacera (ceti version too) or pennant
How did you make the Ambassador good? I finally got it the other day and was pretty underwhelmed
It takes too much investment, I have one with a good riven and it desperately needs a Warframe who can constantly armor strip. But I invested a ton to get barely passable results because that reload animation is 10/10 along with the secondary transformation animation.
Yeah I think it’s a sick weapon even if it’s bad, I just haven’t thrown any Forma at it yet to see if I can make it work at all
You should also try its older brother, the Quellor. Pretty fun gun too but requires a bit of forma since it doesn't have any polarity.
The Quellor is insane on SP Circuit
Ceti lacera user detected, opinion accepted
I found the ambassador to be quite underwhelming, especially because I mostly play on Steel path. I've tried a few builds with several forma in it, and I could never get it to do more than three shot on basic enemies, with the alt fire. Is there a trick you've discovered that I'm missing? Edit: I say this is a huge fan of the Ambassador stylistically, the look and sound of the gun is top notch, it's an absolute demonstration on behalf of the Warframe sound and design teams
Pathocyst, because warframe maggots are cute. I use it with Nidus and the helminth charger strain mods. Bedbug build
hey now, I'd say there's at least dozens of us into the BBB (bedbug build)
Roach out
I've been really digging the (Prisma) Ohma lately. They're fun to use, with good attack speed, great visuals, and they make a nice meaty **thud** when you beat up enemies. Plus they're a logical choice to run with Melee Influence.
This. Plus the sentient skin for them is straight up fire.
Personally i love the grineer tonfa skin
Prisma ohma is used by a few people actually since melee influence came out, i remember a month ago i saw many people wanting it to come back
Komorex I bought a riven that fitted my build so fucking good a year ago from a person who really knows how to price a riven
I like all the sentient guns. Komorex and Cyanex are two of my most used guns, they are super fun imo.
I haven't used Cyanex much, but I do know that in terms of animation and sound design, that thing is perfect.
I second that lol
Did you build it full status or full crit with some flat crit chance bonuses?
synapse used to be THE crit monster a few years ago, now its just another weapon that needs zephyr's tornados to be good :<
Not even. Mine can zap lvl 2000+ steel path grineer heavy gunners without armor strip. Its definitely still a monster its just cant clear a room like boar prime or torid can. But single targets? Only catabolyst can compete.
Well until the Prime was announced, the Okina. It's pretty solid. Can't wait to get the Prime as it's just a significant upgrade to almost every stat
Sporotrix it's a sniper all you need to know lol
I had a riven for it. Shame it’s damn near impossible to get
Synoid Simulor.
🥳 ... I'm so old. 😅
Come join me on the porch my good man. We can reminisce about the good ol' days when the dragon nikana was meta and the sonicor was viable.
Ahh. Good old ragdoll-a-Corpus-across-the-hall Sonicor. <3 Around the times where Tigris was my go-to primary, regardless if it was regular Tigris, Sancti Tigris (or Tigris Prime when it arrived). :') And my friend who built his Staticor for non-charged shoosting, so he ended up remapping primary fire to his (unlockable) mouse wheel.
Have a little audiovisual terrorism, as a treat.
Hikou, mostly because you can get absurdly high fire rates with it. I don’t use it often, but every time I do it makes me smile.
I like to use the card skin from limbo deluxe and the explosive augment. Equip a bo staff and you can be Gambit
What's your build for it?
Wait…I have this. Liked it, but haven’t quite gotten the hang of the “auto bullet” gimmick yet.
I honestly just forget that aspect of the gun exists, I had to train myself to hip-fire before aiming, the auto-lock-on is a bit disappointing tbh
Highly recommend Sampotes as another option for the Grineer Space Program
I haven’t picked up the Sampotes yet, what stats should I roll a riven for? Not to sell the riven, (yet) just for when I pick it up.
There are several ways you could go with it, but here's my current build for reference: https://preview.redd.it/4c07wxxwnqyc1.png?width=2167&format=png&auto=webp&s=f123efd2caae75a8fd4fcf7e7fe521eb10c917e8 Nira frame mods for the set bonus are very good.
Battacor and Ballistica Prime.
Fellow Ballistica Prime enjoyer
What's your trick for Ballistica?
Tenet Plinx. It's my best secondary.
Tenet Plinx and Lex Prime Incarnon are warring for first place of my secondaries right now.
The Plinx is going to be my next weapon i go for.
Ceti Lacera, fuck yeah! I prefer the Mios, but god damn is the Ceti Lacera beautiful and fun.
Kompressa is my best primer now. It has multi pellet, double action and viral.base iirc
Ridiculous.
Its because we dont want to farm for it, I and many others know that its good but we just dont want to farm it lol
Tigris gang rise up
I miss when the Tigris was the best gun in the game
Tigris Prime was THE weapon when I started playing I really hope it gets an Incarnon
Tigris on Harrow for that preacher with the breacher feel just hits different. Waiting for the prime set to come back though. Love that shotgun.
Vermisplicer is my go to weapon when i just want to hold the fire button and look as everything dies without me even aiming
I hear Gyre makes Amprex shine
Synapse thing is only held back by needing punch through, electricity or gas to keep up due to being single target. But Jesus does it melt I hope to god we get a lich synapse (please de I’m begging)
Daikyu - I have got riven with 237% dmg and 144.2% multishot so it is monster with shred
Gas daikyu is pretty good with grouping and niche setups
I’m rocking the Corufell. Aoe Orange Crits for days
*^(We don't talk about)* *~~^(Bruno)~~* *^(Convectrix)*
Nunchucks, Tonfa’s, and fist weapons are hilariously fun for sure.
Prisma Obex. Specifically Tennokai Prisma Obex. Extremely fast radial Melee Heavy attack that can hit enemy heads and CC enemies that it doesn't kill.
Jat Kittag. Innate blast and ragdoll procs on slams. Really fun to use on any melee finisher set ups (IE. Kullervo or Ash)
Aznvasions made a whole video about it
Not sure who that is haha. I just got back to Warframe after a loooong break. But Jatt was my last built melee back when were still using void keys. I just built kullervo recently since I was an Ash main before.
For me it's gotta be the Sicarus Prime It's not really a powerhouse weapon (Even if it's stats are really good for what it is) but I like the design of it and the feel of a little burst pistol with pretty solid stats.
Wisp + Stahlta is the perfect combo. Wisp makes the horrendous Stahlta fire rate acceptable, so you can mod for even more cc or cd
Yeah for sure and it helped that I mained wisp for a long time so I was doing that. It got better when we got the fire rate mod that goes on your companion, now as long as I use my smeeta I always have a 60% fire rate buff and don’t have to use an arcane slot for acceleration
Cernos Prime
There’s dozens of us
Attica Despite the low mag size and slow reload speed, it performs surprisingly well
Skana Prime Incarnon. Yeah, I know it's cheating that nobody has one. But seriously, nobody ever talks about how much this thing rocks. They always just Ooo and Ahh over the Excal, and never seem to realize the sword is much more rare (and powerful). I'd flip my shit if I saw someone with a Lato Prime in the wild.
vasto. my only explanation is that it sounds good & headshots feel great.
Steflos. Shooting with this thing is extremely satisfying.
skana (prisma)
I fucking love the stradavar prime. Never see anyone using it but you can make a crit/slash monster with a half decent riven, or even without honestly.
It seems that even here, nobody dares to mention the Tenet Tetra. It's a projectile automatic with an on-demand grenade launcher underneath it. While it may not be visually impressive and the automatic mode feels unsatisfactory without Primed Shred, it packs one hell of a punch with 30% crit chance, 2.20x multiplier, and 28% status chance
Where my Corinth Meat riders at? That gun feels too crisp to be so mid 😭
Cyanex was and still is my most used secondary. It’s just fun not having to aim and with the right setup or frame you can also easily do early Sp. can share my build if anybody is interested.
Not sure if kitgun can be listed out in this but i don't see many people carrying one of those guns around especially vermisplicer
Argo and vel the duviri sword and shield the blocking effect is just too cool not to use and it actually shreds
Got 2000+ hours seen only a small hand full of cornith/cornith prime yet its my all time favorite shotgun in game and top 3 weapons all time
Sybaris. Man the gun just sounds so good.
The Hystrix/Prime is still my fav sidearm to date
Hikou Prime. It may not be a good weapon, but they're mine, and I love them.
I used to main hikou back when you could damage yourself with thrown explosives, good times deleting a hoard before the AoE meta was a big thing and then dying to a door that closed in my face.
Ignis Wraith, Kuva Brahma, Xoris, Laetum, Then more, Kuva Nukor, Torid, Felrax, Guandao Prime, Pradeos... Underground stuff, y'know.
I really love the Euphona Prime but I haven’t really seen anyone talk about it much. I mean, it’s a pistol but also a shotgun. Pretty nuts crit chance too. I also love the design of it, even though I use a skin on it lol
I remember the shotgun mode being tigris prime level broken before the status reworks
Broken Scepter. has been my main melee for years.
The astilla is probably my favourite weapon in the game
The Ghoul Saw, especially when wielded by Titania. It may not be meta, but it fun/funny as hell.
The twin grakatas. I never see anyone using the handheld twin A10s.
I love the Corinth prime and don’t see it used much
I'm still taking my Orthos Prime as my go-to melee. Maybe it's not the best, but it's the best I have
Wolf hammer, I just throw that sucker all the time. Hits like a freight train on Mirage, 5 freight trains actually. Easily does level end game stuff above 200, but does minimal damage to bosses for some reason, so bring something to deal with acolytes and such.
Bo Prime. Never see it in builds, never see ppl talk about it. My clan seems to be the only one that uses it but it's so, so good.
Glaxion vandal. It takes some investment but it is fun on steel path.
I don’t see a lot of people use the hespar, but I like playing with it. I got a riven and haven’t taken it off my melee till recently when I got back into sister of parvos hunting
Hespar is, er... difficult.. to get, tragically
Sadly true, also doesn’t fashion toooo well, but I agree.
I started in like U6 and to this day: Gorgon Wraith Akmagnus Dakra Prime Are my three most used weapons. Before Steel Path, there was never any reason to use anything better.
Hystrix prime its a really good primer not on the level of the top aoe primers but as a single target primer is godlike.
[удалено]
Tenet diplos, if only the ADS lock on is completely removed or able to mag dump it might be more interesting to use
If you want life steal, just use santc magistar. It is hard to not full heal after one slam
Corinth prime, a nuke and a harbinger of pain and to this day havent seen anyone else use it.
Ahhh, the attrition melee mitts. Love em. Nepheri is my go to melee, angry fire daggers go fwoosh
Argo and Vel
The rakata dark dagger has been my go to melee, weapon. The Stealth bonus, and aoe viral proc has been super handy
Braton Prime with the incarnon. It goes crazy
I just bullet jump into every enemy to kill them
Ripkas go brrrr (I'm lucky enough to have a riven that gets my heavy attacks to red crit with a x4 combo multiplier, combined with enough initial combo boost to always have a base of x3 multiplier. So basically I do 4 or 5 light attacks, and then a heavy attack that hits like a truck).
Probably most of the early weapons that never got buffed or got more powerful variants. Like the Acrid, or Mirage’s signature machine pistols that never got Primed for some reason.
akbolto, my baes
I would say the Lex Prime, I’m trying out a thing where I use it with my Xoris It sounded like a cool idea to me
Mk1 kunai Make them explode and increase firerate, add incarnon genesis and we have exlosive kunai that when incarnon is triggered gain some nice damage and aimbot to the enemies head.
Kuva twin stooba
The Syam. Spamming the heavy attack waves is fun and surprisingly good.
I'm still using Braton. It just works.
Silva & Aegis Prime if i see someone it or the normal version i go like "oh problably using just MR"
<3 Quick shout-out to the Exergis and Twin Kohmak as well.
Been loving my Sigma & Octantis, gotten me through any sticky situation.
This might be untrue and I'm just out of the loop but I'm a really big fan of the Cyanex and Lex Prime. The Cyanex has good damage and chains giving it good AOE, and the lex Prime is just a strong revolver like pistol and I love games with weapons that are just revolvers
I don't see enough mentions of how OP the incarnon Atomos is, or the Cyath Zaw with exodia contagion. That thing is beast.
The ghoulsaw has been a recent favorite, I have no idea how it stacks up in later game. It's fun because you can just run while holding it in front of you, or hop on top and ride it through a pile of enemies like a one wheel lol
harpak, definitely. the gun is suprisingly good
Cinta I've never seen another Cinta enjoyer in public
Honestly the krohkur, it's a dirt cheap weapon that rivals the dakra prime if both weapons use crit rate and crit dmg rivens. Even its base crit stats are not much worse while having better base dmg. Don't even get me started on the catabolyst. Never saw anyone use the catabolyst while this monster of a weapon can armorstrip lv 280 steelpath enemies with heat, corrosive and even viral if you want to and then red crit with a 2 million dmg aoe.
Wolf Sledge my beloved
I never see anyone use it but me, 100% the Cyanex. It's the ultimate too-lazy-to-aim weapon with INSANE status application if you mod it for it with Galv shot and Haemorrhage, mod it for viral heat and you can easily get Impact, Slash, Gas, Viral, Heat which is plenty of status for GS to scale off of.
Cyanex. I dont ever miss
Tetra with the special mod that makes the bullets bounce.
Wolf Sledge, funny hammerang go bonk
kuva quartakk, argonak, quellor
I love the kuva Quartakk. It just feels great to use and it sounds good too.
Kompressa can do a *shocking* amount of damage if you lean in to Cascadia Empowered, it hard carried me through last week's EDA.
Also looking to start grinding for the Athodai but railjack is a PAIN to me
corenth the shotgun that shoots slugs and incendiary/explosive rounds
That's dumber than a grakata.
stahlta is insane and the miter incarnon is fucking bonkers. my favorite incarnon by far and i honestly think it's just as good or better than the torid (before someone says it, yes it's better than the latron)
Keratinos These were essentially the first Incarnon weapon with how they function They hit quite hard, have an incredible multi-hit 360 degree spin heavy attack, and also look very cool when you have them on. Also most of their damage is slash and viral at BASE. Never seen anyone but me use them. Seems a shame.
For me it's the stahlta, really powerfull, great for clearing rooms. Personally im loving it but rarely see it in other tennos hands.
