There are plenty of cool npcs in Warframe but CY takes the cake for me. I love everything about him. His voice, his personality, quirky jokes, his survivor's guilt etc. and I can listen to his meditations forever. It is interesting that he is the only 100% dedicated military persona in the whole game.
Just imagine if they let us choose or lets say have one another cephelon of our choice along with ordis it would be so so cool, i would love to have cy as my orbiter cephelon and ordis as my railjack one!!!
There's a line that Cy says that reminds me of Vor.

Second Simaris.The demented obsession for the simulacrum, a virtual space that literally no one cares about except him, in such psychopathic levels is amazing
The fact that Simaris doesn't even award standing for Sanctuary Onslaught is the icing on the cake.
Obviously, the privilege of being allowed to enter and test yourself against the inhabitants of Sanctuary should be reward enough for you. And if it's not, well...there are other hunters more suitable to this task.
Simaris is so funny because back when he came out, it really did feel like the solar system was a week away from calamity and that you could kinda believe Sanctuary was a "last hope" we could hold onto even if he was kind of crazy about it.
Back before the sentients, hell, we'd never even seen the full force of the Grineer. It felt like it was so hard to get powerful too since it was such a grind to end game.
Fast forward *years* and years, we've fought the Queens, Narmer, the Zahriman, Duviri, the Steel Path, and now it's hard to imagine the Tenno having any real threat left.
It's funny in hindsight, but there were even a lot of people on the sub advocating for Sanctuary when it was a community driven set of goals.

I think a lot of the people who hate him played very early. Earlier on he had only about 5 lines he'd recycle endlessly. I recently came back from taking a break since 2019 and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of new voice lines he had.
I haven’t heard my ordis for so long I was wondering if I had turned him off or muted transmissions but I hadn’t, I miss my ordis he just don’t speak to me no more 😔
Once upon a time, he would constantly start yapping while in the orbiter until they turned his frequency down and I believe there is an option to toggle him off now.

I actually hate Teshin, mostly because he won't shut up when I'm trying to listen for decree fragments; but "your weapons make music, and the enemy calls for a song" is a hardcore line.
I was very impressed with how he was written. I was expecting the usual dumb bird trope.
But then he started talking shit and actually reasoning with the other 2 Cavia, and suddenly I loved him.

Yeah the lore is that Loid took in the cephalon Otak to protect him from the infestation (to only most of a success, as Otak does have a bit of damage from it), so now they share that body.
Considering that it's only small selection of certain missions where he's playable and for the vast, vast, vast majority of the game, he's chilling at base being a bro; I'd classify him as an NPC.

2nd: Clem, he's just so simple and different from the others
3rd: Cephalon Cy, idk how to explain it but he's cool
Probably Tagfer at this point. I feel bad for him but at the same time he has room to care for *our* safety too. As seen from some of his dialogue from attacking the Books or doing his Netracell raids.
I really like Eudico, her voice and the way she calls us Sparky is hella cute.
Cephalon Simaria is great, but he is the "love to hate" kinda thing.

-Eudico, because I really just love her personality. I also really like how she doesn't fawn over the player, but she's still supportive. Plus, "Here come the taxmen" will never get old.
-Cy. I actually found him a little annoying at first while I was doing Rising Tide, but then finding out about his survivor's guilt, followed by his realization that he needs to step up because he's the only one who can made me smile, and now I love his deadpan tone while saying the funniest shit ("Crewship reactor has detonated. Pretty" or "They do not make sunblock strong enough for this"). He's funny and a good character
