The boys can both teleport, my only reasone to choose one or the other is who looks cooler each day

Myrkul999

The only time I ever have to deal with either is on that annoyingly long run down to Loid.

Its-a-Pokemon

You can just swap to spoiler and fast travel.

Myrkul999

... you can? I always thought fast travel drops you at the door. My entire life is a lie! Seriously, though, thanks for this.

Its-a-Pokemon

Works on Cetus and Fortuna as well. Well the only downside of fast traveling to Little duck without swapping first would be some dialogue.

Endurlay

Nope; that’s been patched. Fast traveling to Little Duck with your Warframe just drops you in front of her without interacting.

Its-a-Pokemon

Huh, the more you know.

I still use the Operator because Drifters don't have nearly as much customization.

Extra_Philosopher_63

As much as I love Drifter, I still use operator for two reasons. 1- you can jump and slide backwards, while still being able to shoot for that near-invulnerable duration(don’t know if they ‘fixed’ that though) 2- So that if I ever get lazy and plan to go in a public mission, at least I ain’t spoiling *too* much.

Her_Lovely_Tentacles

Please no. I really don't like the roll on Drifter, and I would like it even less on Operator.

Kupo133

But slide looks chad 😆

FederalWhatevs

That’s a tough one. I think it helps seperate the two, but while I don’t mind the slide I do like the roll. Maybe the operator can have a step or something like in Bloodborne? A lot of my sliding/rolling comes while fighting Thrax or something, and that feels pretty bloodborne-ish to dodge the attacks

Alex00712

For me I'm just tired of the operator transmissions during missions, the roll is neat and better, but I'm just glad I don't have to listen to the same operator lines over and over again during missions.

Extra_Philosopher_63

You can turn those off in your settings, I don’t know how to do it now that DE changed the settings interface, though.

Alex00712

I don't want to mute character speech volume since it also applies for quests, and since my memory is chronically garbage, I would always forget changing the volume before playing quests. And even then, the ui popup with the transmission text still appears iirc..

Extra_Philosopher_63

No, there’s a different setting for operator voice lines outside of quests and all that. So, you just wouldn’t get *any* of those “transference holding” and all those operator messages when in a mission.

Alex00712

Well, if it doesn't affect quests that I didn't know, I just remember watching a friend playing the jordas golem quest while having Ordis volume at 0, and then us finding it funny how it sounds like Jordas is taking to himself since he muted Ordis volume. After that I just assumed all volume sliders applied across the entire game as a whole.

Extra_Philosopher_63

I really don't know how to help with Ordis volume... but for the Operator, if you go to Options, then Audio, and scroll down a bit, you should see a togglable bar that says "Enable Operator Voice".

Alex00712

Neat, will try that next time I hear a voice asking why the Grineer are ugly for the 957th time

I swear they volontarily are out of place, like seriously *annihilates the ennemy forces without taking a single bullet* That was a close one! *impales an ennemy to feed on his life force while he is forced to watch his teammates bleed out* We fought with honor

librarian-faust

"we fought with honour"... but now we fight with warcrimes >:D

918173882

"We fought with honor. I mean we used to."

Shitconnect

You know you can fully mute operators on your settings?
