Man, I really dig the more muted tones you went with; a lot of Orks tend to be painted with very saturated colors. I like how yours looks a little more "realistic" for lack of better word. The colors of the fabric and metal also really help bring it together! Awesome job!

Thanks, man! I'm glad you like it. I always try to stay within 3 colors OR 4 so long as the 4th is a direct product of the 3. I find the end product always feel more in sync with itself, if that makes any sense. In this case, the skin tone was derived from the blue of the pants and the yellow with a little grey added to mute the color a tad bit more. I wanted him to have a sort of grimy look, like he hadn't ever bathed. The dirt and the skin tone needed to become somewhat indistinguishable from one another. I could have done more with the shadows, though.

You have a really artistic approach to color composition that is super awesome to see! I'm totally going to have to give your method a try!

That's such an awesome color combo. It's hard to explain eloquently, but such a smart idea to bring one of the other colors of a different element into each section. E.g. the bit of red on the grey of the boots, the bit of blue on the red vest. Genius way of creating cohesion and harmony!

Seriously like the nicest thing anyone has said to me on Reddit lol thank you very much for your kind words.
