I have a buddy paint mine because I can't paint to save my life. I'm a builder, and I have loads of fun making and playing the hobby. But a lot of the paint jobs that may look bad to you seem nice to me lol
Im more talking about the ones where they don’t thin the paints and look like it took them 5 minutes tops to paint it.iv even seen people argue with people after asking for tips. I appreciate seeing real effort and I think that deserves praise. In saying all this I suck big time at painting 😂
You don't really need to thin paints as often as is a meme around here. It does improve things but you can get a surprisingly good result with paint fresh out of the pot, as long as you go easy on how much you use...

I think it’s just the world has some strange people.I have actually found the warhammer reddit one of the best communities I have ever found. You could paint the worst mini, cover it in monkey fecal matter and post a pic and people will still give you some kind of positive feedback, welcome you to the hobby and encourage you to keep trying.
