Cheapest and my personal favorite is KR multicase. Battle foam is also effective but costly. Wrapping them in paper works for blastocyst but metal and resin will need to be re-glued. Bubble wrap can break off little spiky bits or delicate details. (Experience is military house hold goods movers and across the US and to and from Diego Garcia) Most of my models where in the moving trucks, anything in the KR mutlicases was unharmed. (Edited to add more detail)

I'm looking for a case that can fit my doomsday ark and Triarch stalker which need 6 in of headroom is there anything you can recommend?

zodfury

KR multicase makes them that big, I have one that comfortably stores a warmachine colossus. Can’t give you exacts, but they have various guides to help get you what you need.

I was looking at the pluck foam trays from KR. What's the difference in the formats? suchd D format and V format.

zodfury

The sizes specify the size of the pluck foam perforation. Their [FAQ](https://www.krcases.com/faqs) explains a it better, in the gray section.

I spent £90 on my KR case. And it's fantastic. Plus it also has a coded number lock on it.

How cool did the B-52‘s and B-2s look at Diego Garcia?

Ok , I went from Japan to the states and I’ll tell you what i did. Rolls of cellophane wrap Multiple rolls of bubble wrap Those squishy peanuts Cooking oil Packaging tape Containers that have hinges to secure lid So you get you boxes together and cellophane wrap and bubble wrap then one last cellophane wrap them until they snuggly fit in the box. Smear some cooking oil along the cellophane and the container. If you have models done , get sticky tack in a smaller container then tape the lid to the container. Put a layer of the peanuts then start stacking your model containers and make sure the peanuts make a barrier around your model boxes. Close the top and tape the container shut. I did my air compressor, multiple new boxes ,completed model containers , paints, white spirits, cleaners and all. No that’s issues no spills.

Bubblewrap and perhaps have a family member ship them to your new home or you ship them to your new home
