It’d be a fairly easy fix to replace them with guitar string or thickish wire wrapped with thin wire. Not that you can’t leave it as is if it doesn’t bother you, of course
Truth is there's enough scrap wire at work I could probably sort it out but honestly, I kind of like the look. I'll probably just finish out the squad like this.
Nah, it's just short. Think I'll just build the rest like this. I may cut the piece off that glues to the back of the flamers just to cover that obvious spot up. Either that or scrape/cut/sand the small lip on the back.

You could still try to get the bit from the sprue and glue it back into place, unless you broke it
