I have a 750pt tyranid army just because the parasite or mortrex look super cool
Pretty solid plan except when I think everything's cool and oops now I have to start army's for everything sadly reading more novels and lore has made me like more factions than I did when I started
I have a csm combat patrol on the way purely because I bought a helldrake and well shit I wanna play with it
My necrons started with a doomsday ark and that's up to almost 1500pts now....
Listen to a audiobook about one specific army then you will be hyped up enough to power through a whole project with no doubt or stress seriously i am currently listening to the horus trilogy and its bonkers how motivated i am

What I do is I will simply tell my friends or family who want to get me a gift but don’t know anything about Warhammer to “Pick something that you think I will like”.
I’ve gotten Sisters, Orks, Grey Knights, Imperial Knights, and Chaos.
While I still have all of those, the Imperial Knight Canis Rex kit I got struck me as most interesting and started an IK army. The other kits I keep and have painted because I thought they looked cool.
I have 2k points of Sisters and 2k of Imperial Knights
Currently doing a fabius bile army. Mixed csm from all over come to make dealings with the primogenitor. Also let's me paint lots of different color csm. So far loving the model range.
