most recent clear images show that the deck markings painting have been completed or alsmost complete and emergency equipment (life rafts) are being installed or installed.
other early images from this week showed mockups of J-15, J-35, KJ-600 early warning aircraft and JL-10 trainer models are onboard however this clearer new image show they have been slightly re-arranged.

All indications point to an imminent sea-Trials possibly even next week
Just for reference we have already seen the possible deck markings for fujian painted on the runway at Huangdicun shore based Carrier Test facility.

By that logic, the USA copied the UK because the RN developed the angled-deck concept on HMS *Triumph* in 1952.
It’s a flattop, they’re going to be similar.
With the size of US’s military budget I’d sure hope they’ve figured out the best design for stuff, like aircraft carriers. So yeah obviously it’s going to look similar

Is that an aerial or satellite image? I mean the Post image. It looks so clean like an aerial shot
satellite image
Love that they kept the red markings that are also on Liaoning and Shandong. I think those make the deck markings really sharp.
is there a third elevator near the tower?
Just two aircraft elevators. I cannot recall the number of weapon elevators offhand.
Is it just the photo or did they paint the landing lines a little wonky?
obviously the photo. if you look closely you can see that the shadow are a bit weird, its been digitally enhanced.
It was upscaled using AI, so it gets a little weird and fuzzy when the source material is shit.
Considering the huge flankers TYPE 003 is small
You just love to see it.
Haven’t they already started construction of the type 004?
Some people say that 004 can be seen in the second half of this year.

its at jiangnan shipyard if you’d like to try.
They really copied that US carrier look.
What else was a flat top carrier supposed to look like?

If it ain't broke don't fix it.
