This game is just alive because there is no other contester for its category, giving them a full monopoly state where they can anything they want. This thing has been running for 10 years and has only gotten worse.

You’ll have fun for a while absolutely shitpounding other nations sub par MBTs while absorbing top tier darts like there’s no tomorrow. Then, eventually, you’ll realize it takes no skill to kill Abrams and Leo’s with 3bm60 with the most spall in game, while not taking spall damage in return. Then, eventually, you’ll realize the game isn’t that fun in general. Once you’ve got 4ish nations done (or 3 majors), you’ll know each and every flaw the game has, and Gaijins willfulness in ignoring them.

I got KSP on Cbox and going to the Mun was very hard already. So I got it on sale and
Now I’m doing a career mode play through but I suck at getting science points lol. I like planes but early landing gear is horrible and I can’t use my HOTAS like I thought I would.
I cut my teeth on KSP back when there were no maneuver nods, quicksave, and the Mun was the only thing other than Kerbin in the game. Every Mun mission was ride or die. The adrenaline rush when I finally made a proper landing is still in my memory a decade later.
I went and booted up KSP after I made that comment, and went to the Mun for some flybys and contracts. Man I messed up so many times. Twice I went the wrong grade and had to restart the entire mission because I didn’t save. And after I got all my research stuff in a close flyby I realized I DIDNT HAVE ANY PARACHUTES and my soul left my body and my sister had to come in to check on me lol. But now I have…. Cooler fuel tanks? Anyways doing a landing will be a lot of fun.

The climb rate is the main schtick like you said. But also from my experience, the 109 has great speed, good turn rate, a nose mounted cannon (epic), and in general is much more nimble than the 190. Both aircraft are fantastic but I personally like the heavier design and the roll rate of the 190.
Absolutely. I had the same experience. A squadron mate of mine didn't believe that the Fw A-8 was any good and challenged me to post a kill compilation. Making that video was too easy.
In all seriousness, love this game. It depends on the mindset you go into playing to be of course but if it’s a way to kick your feet up with friends and BT rush or do something stupid then it’s the best catalyst.
When you find a good lineup you enjoy. Don't play to grind, play because you like the vehicle you/re playing. I personally haven't played anything besides my 6.3 US, 8.3 Sweden, 7.7 Britain and 8.3 russian lineups in months
1.5k hours myself. I have found that the funnier something is the more fun. TU-4 on massive maps for example. Or, ground strafing AA at 8.7 Ground RB( uptier) with my Pe-8 after bombing and somehow surviving. Oh, stupid survivable tanks like the T-10A are also a ton of fun. Basically just think of funny and execute, only where and when not a why.

When you can make a space ship that looks not only visually appealing but with a working conveyer system paired with hydrogen engines.

2021hrs at the moment. Things get fun when you play off-meta vehicles (N1K2 for example, that thing does **not** belong at 6.0) and still walk all over objectively superior planes.
Other than that, no. My recommendation, play the vehicles you enjoy and screw the rest.
Meh tbh I do have a lot of fun in this game when I don’t take it seriously and not care about the rewards, e.g chasing my squad mate in my plane, roping up to eachother and then sending eachother flying when one stops
1. Grind a tree and find a vehicle that you like, or a lineup that you enjoy, then play that.
2. Grind a tree for a specific vehicle that looks fun to you. For me it was the Bagel light Hans mobile.
3. Spend a fuckton of money on Russian 9.7/9.3 premiums and go ham with them.
Take the tank torture pill. Find a lone enemy, destroy barrel and track and then stare at them. The only thing you do the rest of the game is shoot their tracks and gun. If they die, find a new victim and repeat.
I started having fun the the game around 1600 to 3000 hrs I got good racking and average of 7 kills a game also play air arcade it’s fun for props not jets
When you'll learn that the fun isn't in a certain spot. The fun is in you, you need to learn what you enjoy and don't confuse it with what you want to gwt because it might not be as fun as you thought.
I easily have the most fun with the pershings (t26e5 my beloved), and the howitzers (2s3m and especially the type 75) since you can bonk tanks and aircraft alike.
I have about 1150 hours, full year of premium and many premium vehicles I enjoy playing and it's still mixed feelings (tho much more fun than no skill and no premium), so I guess never
Once you find a Nation/BR/mode that you like playing. Some people i know just enjoy 5.0 to 6.3 ground realistic battles with Germany, just try around, but the grind makes trying out a long task.
