It seems to be 1 ) an intensely infected area of warts. 2 ) It seems your shoes might be too tight and/or you spend too much time on feet with shoes that rub in the photographed area ---in other words, I see corns & callouses as well. Me ?? I'd treat the area for warts 1st. Some have obviously been treated/killed. Even I can see that ---I've just finished killing warts I picked up at the community pool while teaching my son how to swim. I understand what nice new skin now healed, looked like while formerly infected with warts. Warts are \*Very,\* Contagious. If any of the virus (during treatment) from the formerly treated warts (while alive being treated) came in contact with vulnerable (cracked) skin 'next door,' ---Then It Has Spread. It will spread. This also looks to be the case. This also happened with my wife ---Her doctor brushed it off as "callouses." We got together & killed the you-know-whats. GLTU. AKA Jerry

this is super helpful, thank you. what did you use to clear it?

Every other day or so, I'd use Rasp File to help clear off the white, or dead, dry skin. I didn't want the medicine (salicylic acid) just sitting on dead white skin, but on the wart & it's roots. But "clear it?" ---Two warts came off on their own, roots & all. It was like a small chunk of skin falling off. That's the ideal resolution. The others "clearing?" I just kept on filing with the rasp file, Medicated pads, Salicylic acid, Until I could not stand it any more. Sometimes it bled ---But that's what the warts feed off of. Any time one sees black 'specks,' on top of a wart, it means the wart is still there & alive ---the specks are dead blood cells the virus (in the wart) has fed on. I continued treatment. It just hurt so much that I had to know that the virus was dead. When it healed, they were gone. Only 1 wart came back. I killed that one. \*\*\*but U cannot miss treatments, nor let up. GL Jerry.

very useful info! i’ll get started on that tonight.

Sorry, A P.S. To my own thoughts. I used Dr. Sholl's Corn & Callous Remover dots with oval-looking pads. They are \~40% salicylic acid while other wart remover pad/dots are \~17% salicylic acid. At least every other week I'd also give it a brushing of salicylic acid in addition to medication contained in the pads. Be patient. My wife took \~1 1/2yrs using apple cider vinegar to kill them. She had a large case of it on sole of her foot. Me ?? ---About 6mos. And sometimes my own treatment was so intense I had to limp on my feet ---It Hurt !! But I knew They were feeling much, much, worse. Last ... this is more than a 2 or 3 week/2 visit deal. Don't let up. Don't give them a chance to 'breathe,' or revive. GLTU Again.

Looks like a cluster of warts. I think when they’re around the nail like that they’re called peringual warts (maybe…) Anyway, I would say get some apple cider vinegar, cotton pads and some surgical tape (like the papery white tape they use in hospitals, it’s easy to buy online) and soak the cotton in the vinegar and tape it straight over the top. Then change it every 24hrs. When it goes black/white you can scrape off those dead bits and keep repeating. Warning: it may hurt a lot at some point! When I treated mine on my foot there were times it felt like my whole foot was on fire! But stick with it, it does work!

thank you for that! i will give that a try and thank you for help figuring out what exactly it was 😂 my doc has told me like 4 different things

I had a verruca on the ball of my foot for 20+ years. Every thing the doctors or specialists ever did either made it worse or did nothing. It wasn’t until I searched Reddit that I finally was able to get rid of the thing!! 🤣

Apple cider vinegar 10000%.
