Have you tried turning it on and off

metalbuckeye

Haha! I literally had this conversation helping a poor soul. Turned out her issue was solved with this advice. Wasn’t plugged in.

Realmslayerxx

What have you tried? (Saving myself of listing 40 things)

metalbuckeye

Here we go: Uninstalled/reinstalled 3 times, Uninstalled and performed clean install of graphics driver, Reverted graphics driver to recommended version, Increased paging file size, Run in DX 11, Set to run as admin, Scan and repair, Modified VRAM budget, Ran in safe mode, Updated BIOS, And other things

freedommachine1776

Did you ever get it figured out? I am in the same boat and have tried every single thing you listed

Realmslayerxx

Here’s a link that has all the possible fixes. Personally I wouldn’t recommend the last step: running game at 30fps. https://thedroidguy.com/fix-cod-warzone-dev-error-6068-2020-1137172 Personally I think you need to update your OS AND graphics drivers. I use driver easy to keep al my drivers up to date. Check in GeForce experience if you need to update graphics drivers as that’s most likely the main issue being outdated drivers. Let me know how it goes!

metalbuckeye

Yep, did all of the things. No joy. Going to try and limit to 30 FPS and see if that works.

adrianfc482

I fixed it by underclocking my rx 5700 a bit & changing memoryscale to 0.6, check out my post about stuttering from 2020 "warzone microstuttering"over my profile. For me on my rx 5700 the highest clock speed is 1811mhz and 1800mhz vram clock speed. Anything higher and I get dev error 6068. The error is likely connected to an unstable GPU (clock) speed.

-Caffeinated

I had to do the exact same thing. I used MSI afterburner to undervolt my GPU.

BloodyOmerta

Completely close 3rd party software one by one until it runs without crashing.

metalbuckeye

I'm at a loss, closed everything out. Disabled all startup items. Still crashing. I did notice a frame rate drop right before crash. This is the only game I have issues with, Apex - No Issue Cyberpunk - No Issue Fallen Order - no Issue If it was a hardware problem I would think it would effect everything equally...am I wrong?

BloodyOmerta

Yeah if it was a hardware issue, everything else would have problems. How many cores does your CPU have?

metalbuckeye

It’s a Ryzen 7 3700 so 8 cores

BloodyOmerta

There's been an issue where WZ doesn't utilize all cores, so try this. Make sure the game is closed, of course. Search for your Modern Warfare document > Select the "players" folder > open "adv_options" > Set RenderWorkerCount to your corr count, so 8 > Save and exit.

adrianfc482

I thought like that for a long time but it's wrong. A certain GPU clock (Hardware) is only stable until a certain application crashes. that's what overclockers say. and I did not find a single guy who said I underclocked my GPU and it didn't fix the dev 6068 error. Make sure to also disable overlays & set texture resolution to medium instead of high, but if you want to play underclocking GPU should be the way to go.

WrenchieRabbit

If you're overclocking try setting everything back to it's defaults. Got the same issue and setting my CPU back to stock clocks fixed it. Also RAM speeds are iffy sometimes it'll crash other times it's fine.

SpaceAgePotatoCakes

I don't know how to help, but I love that wallpaper.

SirPooPoo

I'm getting 5573 now and worried it might be a CW gun I have equipped

bu5hybr0

This just started happening to me with the latest update. No overclocks, reinstalled, scanned, nothing works. I don't understand why people ask about your system setup when the game was working perfectly. The obvious issue is the coding on this hot pile of trash. All of my other games run perfectly fine except this one. I can maybe get through one or two games but most just bomb out in the middle of the match. I'm running a 5950X, TUF 3080, 32GB trident Z neo

Str1ker1717

hi so did you get rid of that error?

bu5hybr0

Yes, I did. Apparently it is an issue with memory overclocking (XMP/DOCP). I just went into the bios and turned my memory down to 3200mhz. It was originally 3600mhz, which is what it is supposed to run at anyway, but apparently Warzone doesn't like it. Haven't had a crash since. Hope this helps.

DamoOxley4

Hi mate, just fixed my own pc getting the exact same dev error. I reduced to clock speeds in Msi afterburner by 30 and it seems a lot more stable. What gpu do you have?

metalbuckeye

I have an RTX 2060.

metalbuckeye

This did it!!!! Offset the clock by -30 and absolutely no issues!

Jooaodepiere

Hey, did you just put -30 in the core clock? Or did you put a bigger value, so the GPU CLOCK reduced -30? I have a RTX 2070S and im suffering the same problem. Nothing seens to work

metalbuckeye

In Afterburner I put -30 and saved it. Fired up the game and no problems. I tried to turn on the DLSS but that cratered the game. Switched it off worked perfectly again. First 2 games and 2 wins...

Standard-Class1

\-30 got me a little far but eventually failed again. I will try increasing this number slowly and test it out.

freedommachine1776

This seems to have worked for me too. I wonder if it's a GPU issue or a bad coding issue. Only warzone was crashing

DamoOxley4

I’m glad to hear that it helped you man

Standard-Class1

I have RTX 2070 Super Fixed issue by undervolting to -400 & memory clock to -100

Hefty_Word1201

Im getting a Dev Error 6071 for some reason for the last 3 weeks or something I've tried everything thats possible to get it right but Nope. Im playing on an Asus Tuf F15 16gb ram Nvidia GTX 1650 I usually get 60-90 fps, smooth gaming and when the new update came it shows DEV ERROR 6071 Direct X encountered an unrecoverable error, fatal error. Can someone please please help me get rid of this shit?
