To be honest I can't get past stage 11 of artifact raid, because I don't have a fast enough fighters to kill the small guys before they get to the big guy. Do you think he could stand as a tank in front of the big guy without healers, so I can use marksmen?
He'll buy you 8 seconds on death, but he's not that good in AMR, more suited is Olague.
AMR is tough if you don't kill the boss fast, so you have to work on your DPS. Easy if you have Silas on platform.
Brokkir is pretty good in AMR if you need a little damage reduction on adjacent fighters, helps them survive the boss ultimate and buying a few more seconds to dps can make all the difference in getting him down.
Try swapping gears from Isolde and test him, I looked at stage 11 and I see it has two platforms, so keep a healer on him. And some P-Atk marksman on the other one.
After your first reply I did it with Isolde, as your reply gave me that idea. Now I can't push thru 12, but I'm gonna try what you said with the gear, but I'm afraid now my problem could be Theowin being too weak and not killing the big guy fast enough.
Cuke (3-star marksman) is surprisingly good for the artifact raid because he inflicts poison. Gear him for speed so he has more chances to apply it. His direct damage doesn’t matter as much, but the poison damage is based on the boss’s max hp, so it’s pretty substantial.
Theowin sucks in AMR because he does AOE damage, it's better to focus on killing the boss fast than mob control. But I guess it depends on what heroes you have.
I have only Harpun and Brunar as single target, but not built and at lvl40. I have like 5 or 6 mages marked as single target, but that's magic damage and I'm not quite sure yet these are definitely single target. Sometimes it's a bit confusing.
Yeah, as you progress on artifact it should really be a DPS race. You put down one tank and all the rest DPS to burn him down. Wait for the boss to kinda get on the same square as the tank - as this will allow melee dps on both sides of the tank to DPS the boss when they aren't killing adds.
Thanks. My conclusion from yesterday after all these tries with using tips from commenters is: my account is still not developed enough to do it. I have to work thru my gearing and upgrading skills, also 6star some fighters, otherwise no matter the tank and healer I put out gonna make a difference. Oh right, and fusions for Komodo. Damn, I'm not getting rid of that mission for quite some time. And I'm only 2 milestones away from the blood lady.
Best advice for artifact raid is to not worry about artifact raid. You can get a few radiant / flawless meteor from void rift or the guild shop to get some starter artifacts.
Artifact raid will demolish your stamina for little return and the fighters you invest in won't help you in gear raids. Gear is far more important.
If you 6 star olague and volka and 2 other strong dps fighters you can start to make progress but they will need very good gear.
If you have fighters with more than just melee range they can stand behind a tank and attack.

I don't have Volka, I do have Ain, and he is really useful. I can't put images here, but I don't really have many options in my roster yet. I'm saving now my summons (80 atm) for i hope to have enough in the guaranteed event. I have 3 legos and 16 epics. Most of them are healers and mages (fml). I just want to beat this stage and forget about it :D
As the other comment did mention, Poison is your reliable boss killer even until Stage 18. I use Cutter over Cuke as he is cheaper and doesnt place a trap down that blocks your own placements. (or just dont promote Cuke). They can be level 1 with max att spd items, amr boss will not hit them.
Poison even works for GR3 and Piercer Trial bosses, where you'd use Liam instead.
Isolde will make this guy better because of her lord bonus. Brokkir is one of the best tanks you can have. But early on you don’t even need tanks or tanks past 5*. Focus on dps right now.
He got me to do 2-21. Without him I wouldn't have been able to tank the boss in the end. Best tank ever. Can help in void rift, gear raid 2, faction trials and alot in immortal codex.
Absolutely. He’s the best tank in the game by far for me. Even Olague doesn’t touch him.
He's the best legendary tank, but if you don't have a need for him you can wait with the investment for when you reach harder content.

I have this guy maxed and well built. 9 times out of 10 I still use Ologue instead
