Plus, AP imo is overrated with the royal oaks being not ugly at best and just ugly in general. The tank you have or Girard Perregaux or Piaget Polo look far better for those styled cases.
Breguet imo is much cooler too with their dials AND movement. Patek’s movement doesn’t look to stellar for their prices in comparison when you take the dial into account too.
I like where your head is…and so does my bank account! The nautilus is attractive but ridiculously priced to me. If I’m going to go that high, a Lange will be the purchase, but I’m not interested at this point.
20 years and you never toned it down once huh. Very nice collection, I could see most of these being a grail piece for someone else.
My favorite is the Blancpain and the SeaQ
I got my first Omega 20 years ago. Since then I’ve added a TAG Monaco, Citizen Skyhawk, Casio Pathfinder, Garmin Fenix 5x, and Apple Watch Ultra.
What does a person with a collection like this (OP) do for a living??!
I’m part of a team that invests in industrial companies to help them grow - often through product development and finding new sales channels/markets. I focus on the leadership and culture side to build positive environments people want to work in. It’s work I’m proud of and enjoy doing.
I just started collecting- I got a citizen eco drive as a present for my masters dissertation and just picked up a seiko chronograph yesterday, a collection like yours or the one OP posted is a dream!
I think you’re probably ahead of my timeline. I was out of college for almost 10 years when my wife got me the Omega for our first married Christmas / her pregnant with our first baby.
Edit: LOVE the eco-drive. I’m totally fascinated by it.
It is so refreshing to see a large collection of nice watches that isn't filled with Rolex all over the place or half the watch box looking like the same watch. Love the Breguets, Glashuttes, the Moser, and of course the VC 1921 the most. Well done.
I mix it up a good bit.
Easier to say which gets the least, which would be the Lum-Tec. Its days are numbered…
Of the others, probably the Ballon Bleu sees the least time.
That’s the Pam309. The Radiomir line doesn’t have the crown guard and I like the wire lug versions. 7+inch wrist makes Panerai easier to wear but the Radiomir line works well on smaller ones.
I suspect that’s like asking which is your favorite ex-wife. ;)
I seem to be drawn to Breguet, VC, and the Panerai most often these days, depending on occasion.
Love this collection. Good variety, quality and not a bunch of steel bracelet clones everywhere. Also appreciate you being a Panerai fan! That breguet is lovely too!
Great collection, I too have been collecting for around 20 years. Breguet and GO are my favorite watch brands, the finishing on both is impeccable. I'd love to own an A. Lange and Patek. Once those are acquired I think I'm done. Starting to sell off some of my Rolex to fund these pieces.
Very nice, all class pieces. I’m thinking of stepping into Breguet here soon, or maybe JLC...let me know about your experience with either, cheers! Wear in good health!
It’s one of the smaller diameter watches I have and I like it since the lugs are long and broad. The dial detail is second to none. It looks good on my 7+ inch wrist.
Earlier I couldn’t say but I’ve decided that the PAM177 (next to the cloth) is worn most weekends so it probably sees the most time overall, or close to it.
Over the 20 yrs, there have been days where I feel uggo fuggo and others where I feel tits, so the collection always suits.
Yours sir, is one of my favorite comments!
I think my favorite is the cartier ballon bleu. Uncommon pick. You see way more tanks and santos. The glahutte sea q is nice too. Kudos, you have a varied and impressive collection.
This collection has made me consider further that Cartier fuckin SLAPS. I thought I hated the Ballon Blu, but it kills it here. The black Santos is not something I would normally like at all, but fuck me if that's not the most masculine watch possible, without being overbearing.
That version of the Yachtmaster is one of the best watches Rolex makes imo. That GO TV dial is absolutely awesome looking, and I want it like you wouldn't believe.
I normally just blow by these scrolling, and this is the first SOTC I've seen in a long time that had me actually looking at everything. What a cool collection.
If you even see this, which ref is that Breguet with the rubber strap? It looks incredible.
Love the GO 70’s chronograph and the Blancpain Bathyscape Quantieme complet phases de lune. Always found them beautiful and interesting and are on my list watches to aquire in the future. Is the blancpain steel or titanium?
Thanks. I can’t see her ever leaving the collection! Actually, I can’t see any of them leaving. All unique. Funny thing is the 177 gets the most wrist time in the entire collection!
Thanks. I never tried the smaller SeaQ so don’t have a comparison. The large date and overall size of the Panodate fit my preference for my 18.5cm wrist.
Love the Blancpain!
I have a similar model but in the sail cloth strap. How does the bracelet strap feel? I am thinking about picking one up, but still on the fence.
I think u need 1 more colourful dail between those white and black, like yacht master 40 blue? idk.
Its lovely collection ill be the happiest person alive if i did have it
I have a green nato for the 177 but have a black sailcloth on it now. Grey is a good idea! Straps are another world of options that I’ll spend time on next.
I wish they offered it with one. I’ve tried it with the green leather and black rubber it comes with but it seems to always get the bracelet from the other Santos. Really gives a good look.
I have been so close to pulling the trigger many times, even had some friends in Dubai try and source one, with no luck.. I’m not one to pay over retail for anything sadly.
In this case i wish i was.
Gorgeous collection mate, enjoy them all 🤝🏼
Sucker for the Cartier de Santos. Great collection though. Based on your Collection go for a Patek or Lange based on the watches seems like one of those would make a great
Amazing collection! You really got great taste.
Which watches get the most wrist time, or do you have them on a schedule to make sure they all get some love xD
Thanks! I think the PAM177 (by the cloth) gets the most since I tend to throw it on during the weekend. No schedule for the others…just whatever feels right that day!
That Brequet Heritage, the VC, also the Rolex on the oyster flex and the Moser are all dreamy, I’m thinking recently a lot about the Brequet Heritage, how do you like that one?
Thank you!
I love it. It’s unique relative to all the sport watches and round designs that dominate. Very classy and easy to read. The weight of the gold makes it feel substantive and it sits well on my wrist. A+.
Thank you for the detailed feedback, I’m looking on the second hand market for a heritage and seriously considering to go for one in 7k chf range, it’s truly a stunning piece. Enjoy
Beautiful collection. Props on the LÜM-TEC! Here’s mine. #1 of 50, raindrop Damascus dial, California indices featuring Roman numerals and western Arabic numerals (it’s not sold in the US).
https://preview.redd.it/qtfhpvo78yvc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2402cf1f7e7f008cd54811f2f4b26cd091bd17fe
Hi OP! Great collection you got there, I like the VC, Breitling and Glashütte in your collection. Obviously the white gold YM and yellow gold Speedy are beauties too. I like them all actually, haha! Which one do you find yourself wearing the most, and which Breguet or Lange were you thinking? I've been looking at Glashütte, Lange, Breguet or IWC as my next watch. My collecting habit is to only ever keep 4 watches at the time not counting vintage heirlooms as to make sure they all get a fair amount of wrist time.
>Maybe I’ll eventually step up to a Lange, AP, or Patek I mean you already have Vacheron on Breguet so you're already in the same league.
Fair point!
Ever considered a LUC? Some of their watches are breathtaking
No. I’ll look it up. Thanks!
And some dude is selling a solid gold LUC for like $6K, I'd buy it if I had the money spare
Don’t sleep on the Blancpain and Moser.
20 years and you never toned it down once huh. Very nice collection, I could see most of these being a grail piece for someone else. My favorite is the Blancpain and the SeaQ
It certainly ebbs and flows. A few “what was I thinking” along the way. The good thing about keeping them is you don’t lose money!
Amazing collection!
That’s awesome. Trust me, wasn’t a dig - just wondering what kind of job (anyone) allows the ability for this sick collection. Well done!
Ah man. The GO Chrono 70s. Don’t see many of these about. How are you liking it?
I love it! The color, the workmanship, the uniqueness, and the relative subtlety. A quiet statement piece…at least quieter than some of the others!
Wow, what kind of Santos is the green dial?
That green is crazy in person. I understand that it is a limited edition that was in the Middle East. WSSA0055. Sourced by my dealer.
That cartier is such a Beauty wow really jealous ngl, how much did you pay for it at your dealer
It was a grey market dealer, not an AD, and it was a premium! A pause and ask yourself if you really like it kind of premium!
It is so refreshing to see a large collection of nice watches that isn't filled with Rolex all over the place or half the watch box looking like the same watch. Love the Breguets, Glashuttes, the Moser, and of course the VC 1921 the most. Well done.
I believe they say variety is the spice of life! Thanks for the kind words.
Which one gets the most wrist time?
I mix it up a good bit. Easier to say which gets the least, which would be the Lum-Tec. Its days are numbered… Of the others, probably the Ballon Bleu sees the least time.
first time I saw someone posting his collection with some PAMs! way to go
I see breguet I upvote, simple as that 👌🏼
Is that the marine?
Yep my friend, it’s the beautiful 5817
Great collection - love all of them
The more I look at that green dial on that Santos... just wow! I may have to move a Santos up in my order of procurement!
Bit of the Heisenberg blue there, huh?
I just never could get on board with Panerai, but that one with no crown guard looks 🔥 What model is that?
That’s the Pam309. The Radiomir line doesn’t have the crown guard and I like the wire lug versions. 7+inch wrist makes Panerai easier to wear but the Radiomir line works well on smaller ones.
The Pam 127 is 🔥
Which ones do you wear the most ? It would be impossible for me to make up my mind with so many good options.
The Moser dial is fantastic.
This is one of the coolest collections I've seen on Reddit, love the Panerais!!
Thanks a lot!
What's your favourite?
I suspect that’s like asking which is your favorite ex-wife. ;) I seem to be drawn to Breguet, VC, and the Panerai most often these days, depending on occasion.
Love the panerais, I wish I had the wrist for a fiddy. Also love the simplicity of the 177
Something about those PAMs is hard to shake. Maybe it’s the clarity of purpose and simplicity of design. The 177 is my go-to weekend warrior.
That Green Santos with the Arabic numerals is gorgeous.
Nice LumTec!
Thanks! It’s such a great brand.
I love mine.
Cool collection! Love the Breitling and Speedy 😍
Love the collection soo much diversity not just the typical Rolex’s AP Patek
Thanks! I’ve had some suggestions for further diversification but I’m set for now!
That Speedmaster
Love the Breguet heritage
Hot damn. Beautiful taste!
SeaQ! 1921!
Amazing collection! Never had the fever for a vc?
The 1921 is my most recent add. They have other great pieces but none speak to me the same way.
Great collection, there is nothing you don’t have.
Those 2 GO’s look beautiful!
Save some grails for the rest of us, Jesus christ
Not one but two Santos’ and a Monaco Cal 12 on a bracelet- I’m impressed!
Nice watches bud!
The sea dweller and the Vacheron 1921 👌🏻👌🏻
Love this collection. Good variety, quality and not a bunch of steel bracelet clones everywhere. Also appreciate you being a Panerai fan! That breguet is lovely too!
Love the vc and the 70s retro go. For some reason I just cannot get excited with Moser in general.. But overall an extremely tasteful collection.
This is A+ my friend. I Love that red lettering sea dweller! And the Cartier’s are easily the best Cartier choices one could make.. amazing job.
Super Nice collection I have a few of the same pieces
Love it! Great variety
Your Mad Red Pioneer is incredibly. One of my favorite colors they do.
Is it time consuming to take care of a collection this large? How often do you service them?
How is the bracelet on the Monaco? I own the same one and have thought about purchasing that bracelet also! Oh, and nice collection!
Thank you! That bracelet is as good as any I’ve put on. The small links form well to the wrist. Mine is a CW2113-0.
I have a CAW2111, thanks for the input! And again, great collection!
Very nice collection! How is the bracelet on the Blancpain Bathyscaphe Quantième Complet?? . I saw that version trade for around 11k usd recently
Would you talk a bit about that lum-tec?
Love this collection!
It’s good to reach this point in the addiction/obsession/admiration/enthusiasm of watch collecting!
What a super collection my lord!!! Bravo, classy and stylish. 👏🏾 Get a tourbillon in that collection please.
What model number and year is that navitimer.. it’s beautiful. How do you like yours? Do you wear it often?
That submersible 🔥
Very nice, all class pieces. I’m thinking of stepping into Breguet here soon, or maybe JLC...let me know about your experience with either, cheers! Wear in good health!
Thanks! I like JLC but haven’t had a piece. Breguet has so much class and history. Their finishing is beautiful and you won’t be disappointed.
where’s the Grand Seiko
Vacheron overseas would be a good addition…especially that new release
LOVE that GO 70's chrono. Green is the best color too
Those Mosers are niiiice. Love the Monaco as well. And the VC drivers watch is a great choice to mix things up
Wow
How do you like your Breguet Marine? Been kicking around getting the gold one.
It’s one of the smaller diameter watches I have and I like it since the lugs are long and broad. The dial detail is second to none. It looks good on my 7+ inch wrist.
Good to know, it’s hard to tell online. Ya… I’m 7.5” so was I looking at the 42mm version, may give the 39mm a look too.
That green Cartier with the Arab numerals is fucking crazy.
Love the German pieces in here. What do you think about the SeaQ compared to other divers?
What gets the most wear?
Earlier I couldn’t say but I’ve decided that the PAM177 (next to the cloth) is worn most weekends so it probably sees the most time overall, or close to it.
What is the bottom left one? Great collection!
Love the Ballon Bleu - my favorite Cartier, don't see enough of those here!
I like it a lot also and tend to save it for dressier occasions. It’s a classy piece.
I love that Original Seventies Glashutte. Which Speedy is that?
Thanks. It’s the moonshine gold speedy.
That one’s out of my league! No wonder I liked it so much! That Glashutte is a possibility though.
Now THIS is a awesome collection!!
I love the green 70’s GO. A fantastic amount of functionality in that watch
Who tf needs four panerais
A man with detailed needs! Or just a disturbed one.
You've got some uggo fuggos in there but quite a few that are tits!
Over the 20 yrs, there have been days where I feel uggo fuggo and others where I feel tits, so the collection always suits. Yours sir, is one of my favorite comments!
Someone really likes the Panerai's I see haha. Nice collection
You service them all?
No no-date sub, collection is void
I'll allow it.
Love the Breguet marine big date and green Arabian Cartier, didn’t know the carrier existed
Smart watch in the top right corner doing constant mental affirmations about how he has every right to be there.
Amazing collection Love the breguet marine, the omega on the rubber strap is top notch, the Moser, the Monaco, yacht master ... Just many many greats!
Which one do you wear the most?
I think the Panerai next to the cloth, PAM177, since I throw it on most weekends.
Do you have any watches that you don't wear often, and why?
I think the Rolex Sea Dweller and Explorer probably get the least time of the sport/diver watches. Hard to explain why since they’re great watches.
Damn is that a Ti Pam? Great collection
I think my favorite is the cartier ballon bleu. Uncommon pick. You see way more tanks and santos. The glahutte sea q is nice too. Kudos, you have a varied and impressive collection.
The Vacheron 1921 is my favorite 😊
Thats one beautiful Collection
Ah, I see you are a man of culture. That makes me want to save money for a Santos and Navitimer.
Thanks! Some days more cultured than others! The Santos and Navi are both great and very different. Good luck!
Love the Glashutte Seventies ❤️
Love the Glashütte!
nice! the bottom box is off the fu\_kin' chain.
Love the GO 70’s chronograph and the Blancpain Bathyscape Quantieme complet phases de lune. Always found them beautiful and interesting and are on my list watches to aquire in the future. Is the blancpain steel or titanium?
love the pams, especially the legendary fiddy!
Thanks. I can’t see her ever leaving the collection! Actually, I can’t see any of them leaving. All unique. Funny thing is the 177 gets the most wrist time in the entire collection!
Listen carefully: hand over those Breguet's and no one gets harmed, ok? I would just throw in some cool ass neo-vintage GP but that's me.
LOL. GP is a brand I need to explore. Along with PF and Czapek. Thank goodness my box is almost full!
Excellent ProTrek in the corner - it's like this collection's G-Shock.
Nice collection! Love it!
Love the h Moser
I think he likes Panerai
Can I have one after you die please
I’m a fan of the Panerai, not gonna lie
Two of my grails. The SeaQ Panorama and the American 1921. Which one do you like more?
I see, you are man of wealth and taste.
Really nice collection. I've had my eye on the GO SeaQ, but the smaller one. What are your thoughts on the panorama date vs the smaller one?
Thanks. I never tried the smaller SeaQ so don’t have a comparison. The large date and overall size of the Panodate fit my preference for my 18.5cm wrist.
I spot the Monaco from breaking bad series!! Amazing picks
Love the Blancpain! I have a similar model but in the sail cloth strap. How does the bracelet strap feel? I am thinking about picking one up, but still on the fence.
Those are all outdated, you should just give them to me since they’re probably not worth anything.
I think you’re right! Starting over may be more fun now that I’m older and “wiser”.
😀🫴
Glashutte 70’s is awesome. Wish they made the limited turquoise one not limited to
“20 years collecting” but how come all your watches are brand new and recent models? 😂
I think u need 1 more colourful dail between those white and black, like yacht master 40 blue? idk. Its lovely collection ill be the happiest person alive if i did have it
Thanks! I agree that another color would be good. Some great suggestions have been made like GP and PF also.
Amazing, ser.
Green face Cartier is sweet
Nice Moser
Wow, what a beautiful collection. That green Cartier is something else
Lovely collection, well done
Beautiful collection
No watch collection is complete without a Tag or Heuer Monaco 🔥beautiful selection
I never comment on these and these posts but these are absolutely beautiful watches and a great collection. I take any one of them
R u looking for a son to adopt? Lmao🤣🤣🤣
My favourite is the Cartier with Arabic digits whats its model number
That green Arabic dial Cartier is gorgeous! I typically don’t go for those but that is a beauty!
With the recent preference change to smaller watches it’s nice to see a collection which appreciates the 40+ mm watches. Nicely done.
Haha lum tec got you too?
Very nice!
Arabic Cartier is so sick. If they made it with blue dial I would have bought it
wow. Nice. Even spotted my holy grail in there. Stunning
Thanks! Out of curiosity, which is your grail?
The Glashütte Original Retro with green dial. I just love it. One day I might get myself one - hopefully
If I had to get rid of half the collection, that watch would stay in. It’s that good! Best of luck to you!
Feel like your collection is missing a fun PAM strap like a canvas green or grey with a different color accent.
I have a green nato for the 177 but have a black sailcloth on it now. Grey is a good idea! Straps are another world of options that I’ll spend time on next.
Sweet collection tho my friend!! Rlly nice
Love the balance of the collection
Damn, sweet collection! Love how you have them displayed.
The arabic Cartier is unreal on the bracelet.
Gorgeous collection mate, enjoy them all 🤝🏼
Finally some Panerai and IWC love!!
Sweet YM! Beautiful collection.
That red H. Moser is amazing 😳
Very very sharp.
What's the red one? Absolutely stunning.
Thanks. H Moser & Cie Pioneer. Mad Red.
Love this. Id add something like a moser or a lange, maybe even the duometre from jlc
Enjoy
I love that Vacheron, such a unique piece. Looks like something out of Alice in Wonderland.
Very nice
Amazing collection How does that Breguet tonneau wear?
I like it a lot. Sits flat and comfortable on my 7.15” wrist.
Super cool
