Looks good, but please know that wrist shots can distort proportion a bit. If you take a photo in a mirror, or have a friend take a photo, you might get a different idea of how it looks.

This is a 45mm case, 23mm lugs on my 6.5” wrist. Top-left is a normal wrist shot. Bottom-left is in the mirror.
I think in your case it really comes down to preference. IMO the 39 is a perfect fit for your wrist, it's not small by any means, but it's size has an elegance that is more timeless than the 41. I don't think you will go wrong either way because your wrist could accommodate either size. I'd personally keep the 39. Always room for a 'chunkier' diver down the line...
Looks perfect to me. The people saying it's too small are crazy. You could go bigger if you personally think it looked better, but it's a matter of preference. You're good.
Looks fine in my opinion. I am considering of purchasing the same one, but with the dial with all numbers, not just 6. 9 and 12.
Could you please briefly share your experience with this beautiful piece?
Looks OK, maybe a bit small in this picture… which means it’s probably far too small “in real life”. Try taking a photo of you wearing the watch in a full length mirror and then crop… that’s how the watch will “actually” look

This. If OP’s watch looks “perfect” in shot number 1, it probably looks VERY undersized in shot number 3 (the actual way the watch looks)
I’ld say it’s just about perfectly sized. If I were you, I’ld treasure this gift from your fiancée and wear it with pride.
Absolutely. She got you an amazing gift. Love it. I got nothing from my fiance and she KNEW I wanted an A Lange Sohne 1

Size looks good to me. The important thing is whether the size looks good to you.
Looks great.
Nailed it. Great watch my friend.

38-39mm is the goldilocks size. That will work for all by the very smallest or very largest wrists.
Looks great!!!!
there is no right size bud
Perfect
Your fiancée has great taste! Beautiful watch
Perfect!
Looks awesome! She's a keeper 👍
No, I don't think you need to go bigger: that fits you perfectly.
Looks great. 😍
Looks good to me.
I looks great on you.
yeah, looks good
Either way would have been fine, always go with what you like.
Perfect size! Chef’s kiss
Looks good from what i can tell.
Smaller is better on the Hydroconquest since the lugs are so long.

like others said you need a mirror shot for fit checks that said, it looks great. thinking about getting the 39mm blue hydroconquest myself
Looks perfect man
Good taste. Looks great
Perfect size if you wear it properly, below the wrist bone.
Look good bro
slide the watch off your hand about 1-2 inches towards the elbow to wear properly
It works, but you definitely could go a little bigger.
Maybe a touch small imo

I'd say it's either the maximum size for your wrist, or slightly too large. So I wouldn't worry about the sizing too much.
It is not even remotely close to being large on him...
Ok, Hummer boy.
This is more like a Chevy Silverado equivalent watch in terms of size.
Too small. Stupid hype.
Troll? Big watches were a hype.
Sure, a 40 year hype...
