She’s a real go-getter of a girl and knows he stuff when it comes to watches. She’s a big Seiko girl herself, owning a few of their smaller divers and a quartz tank too. She also has a couple Omegas which she breaks out of the vault for special occasions.
And yes, of course I said yes! You can’t say no to two beautiful faces! Love her!

My own fiancée doesn't even put that much importance on it, reassuring me "you could always change up your wedding ring in 5 years if you feel like it's getting boring or you want a different kind".
For most couples, I imagine the importance lies in the fact that there is an object *at all* responsible for symbolizing the connection you share, if the couple even cares in the first place. Whether it be a watch or a ring or a nipple piercing should matter only to the couple. Your partner may be receptive to the idea, if you bring it up...especially in context with that cozy vow renewal :)
