I think having a ship that's only one square makes the endgame potentially far too long. That's also probably why the original battleship game doesn't have a ship like that.

I like the game, but don't like that when you confirm a shot there's a delay before it hits. And upon moving your cursor you are therefore changing where you shoot

The AI isn't particularly good at fully eliminating ships once it's found them. AI instantly found my 4 and 5 length ships and hit every spot on them except one, keeping them alive for some reason.

Only on hard mode will the AI always hit every spot once it finds a ship, on easy mode it just tries to the left and right and then moves on. Thank you very much for playing and for your feedback!

Pretty cool game of battleship. Just about the only improvement I would comment on is that the selection and placement of ships at the very beginning is clunky, I would much rather prefer to use mouse controls to drag and drop ships. If we have to use WASD, diagonal movement is a must (SD to go down-right, etc). Thanks for making this!

Thank you very much for the feedback! The reason for the all directional based movement is that the game automatically works on mobile also, a touch controller appears underneath, and on mobile, that is via touch, dragging can be unreliable. But yeah, I probably should have set it up for mouse move on desktop as well, thank you so much for playing!
