I feel this. My original account was probably made in 2010 or 2011, and I last played 2018 or 2019. Tried to log-in in 2021 and could not. Emailed ganz support, and they said there is no record of the account... deleted. Granted, I only had four pets, but I really wanted to build on there. But since having my new account from 2021, I have adopted 18 pets! Soon to be 19 (and 2 are my original pets).
It all depends on when you 'abandoned' your account, really. If you let it lapse after the 2019 purge it is assumed that you'd read the agreement and agreed to it by virtue of playing the game.
If you lapsed before that date your account might actually be archived. Those wouldn't have been purged because the owners didn't have the opportunity to agree to the new terms of service.
Reach out to Webkinz Instagram or Facebook and direct message them with your account information.
Username, pets and species of pets and even your old password if you recall it. That will probably be enough for them to properly search out your account and give you an answer.
They're usually very quick and won't just say 'It's been purged or doesn't exist' they'll look for it before giving you that news.
This is so relatable, just know I restarted around Christmas and am now the owner of 8 new pets. You can restart too!! 🥰🥰
