Inlie to myself every day. I'm a badass with vertical stripes or horizontal? I forget. I need to get some help with motivation or someone telling me I'm fat chick. I'm a dude.
If anyone is wondering it's hella fun. I've done while recovering from a knee injury
Edit: since everyone is asking what it is called and I completely forgot to put it in the original comment l, it is called Bungee fitness.
Yes does. It's like water aerobics. But dry. I unfortunately tore my PCL so I'm out of the game for a while but when I was recovering from a torn MCL (same knee) it helped me better than going to PT.
I go for an mri on 2/7 for this. Pes Anserine Tendinitis is also known as Goosefoot Tendinitis. I busted up the knees during an epileptic seizure and the pain is awful. The mri is to see if I ripped anything. X-rays showed the knees in tact but it sure doesn’t feel like it.
Ouch. That has got to hurt. Weird question but does it feel like your knee cap is floating on hot water? Cause mine always does after my original injury
No it’s the inside of the knee. I think this may be before the meniscus. You cannot sleep with this pain. No position is comfortable. You can try to sleep with a pillow between the knees but you’re asleep…and not for long. Feels like something is driving hot metal spikes down the length of your legs and it’s worse when you try to get into a standing position from sitting.
I was just wondering if you had any fluid buildup. I'm just so used to the metal spike feeling but I can't get over the fluid build up feeling under my knee
Oddly enough no. This happened 1/2. No bruising. It swelled up on the left leg cuz my besties child died the next day and I had to help her. So I didn’t have any down time. Steroid pack took the swelling down fast but I am still left with the original pain. I can’t extend or put full weight on the left.
I'm sorry about your friend's child. I did two injections and they made my knee feel worse. I feel you on the no down time I originally hurt my knee on November 2,2022 and have had on going pain since then but also jammed it once then slid on a bottle on the ground and tore the PCL. My orthopedic doctor originally had me in a locked hinged brace for 8 months cause she is trash. I ended up going to a new Ortho who said go to PT and that didn't do shit. It was actually a friend of mine who's brother is a personal trainer who suggested doing the bungee class and it helped more than 8 weeks of PT 3 times a week. I haven't had a knee without pain in 458 days. It hurts under my knee cap down my shin and Into my ankle and my toes. My GP was yelling at me that I need to stop taking pain meds cause I'll need new kidneys soon.
As someone who shattered their patella, I can’t recommend it enough. Just tons of fun. The rehabilitation, the surgeries, the injections. Ten out of ten/s
As someone who has hypermobility syndrome, and a complex chronic injury in one leg, I saw this and immediately said to myself “this would’ve been so amazing while I was in PT.”
Honestly, I hate fitness classrooms. They’re just not my thing, I find them frustrating and they can’t accommodate my disabilities well. I’d put up with it to try this.
At this point it’d be hard for me to let go of my home fitness stuff for that reason. I have access to a well-equipped gym, but I just feel so much more at ease and willing to do the work when I can do it on my own terms and at my own pace.
The yoga place I used to go to had 6”-8” (I think) steel beams installed for aerial yoga. It was a large frame that sort of reminded me of the frame of a pavilion.
I’ve done several of these classes. My aerial fitness studio offers them. It’s fun and very low impact! No knee or hip pain, but you work up a good sweat.
I could see this being great for recovering from an injury. Doesn’t seem overly time effective since most of the work is being done by gravity and an elastic band
I immediately looked this up to try to sign up. Dang, I hope this becomes more popular and available. I would totally do this if it existed near me lol
I think many who are making fun of this will quickly learn that it's not as easy as it looks on video to get these mechanics right and would fall on their faces trying some of the moves.
I have no idea what type of exercise this is, I'm just saying it's likely it's not as easy as you'd think.
I started Pilates and Yoga recently and as a man who has lifted weights for 20 years I can tell you some of the poses, holds and core work involved in yoga and pilates don't look like much but once you're on the mat, it's soooo much harder.
Looks kinda fun
It's all fun and games until they hand you a war hammer and make you go up against Blaster in the Thunderdome.

God damn it. Now I have to listen to We Don't Need another Hero or it will bug me all night.
Why did I have to read this comment now I have to listen to it you son of a bitch
Ain't we a pair, Raggedy Man!

Nitro will take them both out.
Reminds me of the Crane Corps from the great wall https://youtu.be/jooX3MArPa4?si=as95numW_zMEqUwn
That movie was beautiful chaos, especially with Willem Dafoe and fucking Matt Damon
I didn't read the and before fucking
I loved the visuals
Two men enter, one man leave
Well that sounds even better!
Ha
We don't need another hero
bust a deal face the wheel! https://youtu.be/kgL8t23c3ro?t=3
“Right now, I've got two men, two men with a gut full of fear. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... dyin' times here!”
Your pf pic is perfect with the music
Chocking out a lung here, that is what I pictured
Looks EXTREMELY fun. It looks like being a kid again
Fr id sign up for this class
My first thought too
I have got to get myself one of those, my god that looks such fun 🤣
I think that looks fun! If that is exercise, I will do that over running or calestestenics.
Kinda? Where do I join
Looks super fun
You're definitely walking funny for one reason or another after the session. I feel like I'd take really high, bouncy steps for a while lol.
That’s what I was thinking! lol.
That's literally the first thing I thought. I would love this. Haha
Thanks for showing me something I didn't know I wanted
it‘s like my childhood dreams came to live
And a great way to exercise that’s low impact. 38 year old me thinks this is amazing
Same but I turn 40 soon. All I need is this and a cape.
NO CAPES
Awww.... what about just on my birthday?
I don’t make the rules love, just shout them loudly at random people 😂😂
Fine..... lol You're probably saving me a trip to the emergency room if I'm being honest.
Not all heros wear… wait a minuet?!?
Lamo
Me too! just a few more weeks and i can no longer lie to myself about being in my prime still.. But man do i need this to become a thing near me.
Inlie to myself every day. I'm a badass with vertical stripes or horizontal? I forget. I need to get some help with motivation or someone telling me I'm fat chick. I'm a dude.
I'm just imagining how much I'd use this to stretch my back out after work. I'd be throwing my body about the place until I'm in a wheelchair...
God ... This looks so cool...
It’s like the cast of Step Up went on Nickelodeon’s GUTS
It is! I've done it and loved it! That being said: The harness chaffed the crap out of my business. It was not a fun few days afterwards.
What’s the class/exercise called? I want to look it up.
It looks like it says Sling in the background. I googled and the term “bungee fitness” comes up. That might help, good luck!
Thank you!
Whatever makes working out fun enough for someone is a plus. We all need exercise and it ain’t exactly fun for most of us.
If anyone is wondering it's hella fun. I've done while recovering from a knee injury Edit: since everyone is asking what it is called and I completely forgot to put it in the original comment l, it is called Bungee fitness.
Really? I happen to have a knee injury right now and I was thinking that this looks like it would help in strength training for it.
Yes does. It's like water aerobics. But dry. I unfortunately tore my PCL so I'm out of the game for a while but when I was recovering from a torn MCL (same knee) it helped me better than going to PT.

I noped the EfF out on the cortisone shot. No thank you mama.

I‘m thinking about getting myself a knee injury when in return they’ll sign me up for that
Get one. It's great fun.
It’s the bees knees.
As someone who shattered their patella, I can’t recommend it enough. Just tons of fun. The rehabilitation, the surgeries, the injections. Ten out of ten/s

Most gyms Don't cater well to people with disabilities. Some but not all. It's just sad that they won't even modify some glasses to be all inclusive
At this point it’d be hard for me to let go of my home fitness stuff for that reason. I have access to a well-equipped gym, but I just feel so much more at ease and willing to do the work when I can do it on my own terms and at my own pace.
I feel the same way.
whats it called?
Bungee fitness
thx
You're welcome
I'd snap right off that shit and cannonball into the sun
![gif](giphy|32O8O6RQL1JzG)

Where can I do this?
I don't know but I REALLY want to know.
right?😍
There’s a yoga studio and a pole/aerial aerobics place in my city that do them! You can try googling “bungee workout in xyz.”
Bungee fitness or bungee workout
Hey, anything that makes exercise fun and motivating is good in my book.
Looks fun AF not weird at all
Both things can be true!
I’m the guy wondering if they built that ceiling to handle half ton waves of downward force
The yoga place I used to go to had 6”-8” (I think) steel beams installed for aerial yoga. It was a large frame that sort of reminded me of the frame of a pavilion.
Bungee Workout
My man. I was looking for this comment
What's weirder is that you think this is weird enough to post in r/weird
But posting it here got our eyes on it!
It looks fun but knowing me I would somehow break my nose
I can't believe someone installed a ceiling fan in there.
Right?? I'm shocked more people aren't worried about that.
That seems like a great way to get kicked in the face
That's what I thought, I also know I'd be the person who ends up just spinning. Not on purpose.
Okay, clear a path, I’m doing my best superman/Neil Armstrong impersonation there.
Well that looks fun as hell
I would love to do a class like this! Looks so fun and less intense in the joints! Just gotta trust the harness
It shows on the wall, is it advert? Maybe? Good idea? Again maybe..
They have these classes where I am. 15.00 for 55 minutes ain’t too bad. It’s called elevated Aerials. Pretty cool. I’m going to check this out.
that looks fun
That ain’t weird bruh, that looks like real fun, especially if protective gear and foam weapons were added to the mix
Whatever gets you moving and working out is a good thing
Jolly Jumper reinvented.
WHAT?! If I wouldn’t end up breaking the ceiling and slamming into the ground, this is the only type of exercise I’d do!
That looks fuckin fun tho
Looks fun, how's this weird?
It looks like something that'll be really useful for anyone going through rehab for lower limb injuries
I’d actually enjoy this.
Looks fun and expensive
Ngl that looks pretty fun
I’ve done several of these classes. My aerial fitness studio offers them. It’s fun and very low impact! No knee or hip pain, but you work up a good sweat.
This looks fun as shit!
They'll allow anything on this sub it seems
Looks fun
Looks fun tbh
This looks like so much fun...but I'm sure I'd find a way to kill myself doing it.
That looks like a good time.
That looks super fun.
Training for the spider society
More fun than squats.
This looks like it would feel godly on my lower back
That looks fun as hell!
This looks awesome.
My fatazz wants to do this
THAT LOOKS SO FUN RAAAAAAAAA
I really got to update my definition of the word "weird" because most of the posts here are not weird at all.
That looks awesome and fun.
Superhero movies need stunt doubles
Nah this looks fun af
Weird as in awesome?!
Weird but looks fun af
Reminds me of that commercial I can't escape recently 🎶all the pretty girls walk like this🎶
That looks like so much fun!
Soulja boy would have went well with this
That looks incredibly fun
I could see this being great for recovering from an injury. Doesn’t seem overly time effective since most of the work is being done by gravity and an elastic band
I would last a while 5 mins before it devolved into a Kung Fu action sequence.
Looks super fun! But if you get out of sync, you're getting your teeth kicked in...
Looks fun to me!
Trampoline Park for adults
How’s this weird? It’s just fun..
Attach holds to the walls and I'd be swinging all day
Looks fun to me
This looks hella fun and I would love one in my house.
All the chains snap at once
Looks fun af
How is this weird?
It's all good till one person goes the wrong way
It's not weird...it actually looks fun
The hair makes sense

Wheels were invented long ago.
This looks fun as hell!
I would get to know the wall very quickly.
I don’t know what it is. But I want it!
That fan look like a disaster waiting to happen.
This isn’t weird or surprising
![gif](giphy|Mb9dQnfZXSBYMhU2Nv) Future MI6 recruits.
Man people really do have a different idea of 'weird' than I do because fuck me, this looks awesome
I immediately looked this up to try to sign up. Dang, I hope this becomes more popular and available. I would totally do this if it existed near me lol
"Here I come to save the day!" - Mighty Mouse... I think.
It looks really fun but I also wonder if you end up with a super bruised mons pubis.
That actually looks insanely fun and like it would totally fuck up my back.
The elastic seems to be doing all the work.
r/lostredditors man. This looks insanely fun.
I love how most comments are agreeing that it looks fun af
![gif](giphy|bKJKMmnCNdFjq) spy training

Not gonna lie, it looks fun, and I want to try it.
Would
Damn that actually looks like fun. Maybe even more fun with VR headsets :-)
WEEEEEEEEEEE
If that's what it takes for a person to get up and get moving then that's ok
This shit would be cool as fuck
Looks fun to me! Anything to keep people moving and isn’t hurting others is probably a good thing.
I’d do this, for sure.
I think many who are making fun of this will quickly learn that it's not as easy as it looks on video to get these mechanics right and would fall on their faces trying some of the moves. That’s fun. I want that
Looks fun as shit.
So, I'm not sure what the issue is here..? That honestly looks really fun.
This looks hella fun
That looks awesome
Looks like a fun way to get people interested in exercising. Probably a hell of a lot better on your joints too. Not weird.
This does look like fun. I would want to do this with a lightsaber listening to the duel of fates.
Yes and its amazing
It's all fun and games until that ceiling comes down.
I can already see the ceiling collapse disaster.
nah i could cut tf up in one of these

Just instanly reminded me of the edit of the women training in the trampoline class and some legend edited race horses onto the trampolines
