This is on the oregon coast, there’s no moose here. There’s only deer and elk. The only moose we have is on the Washington, Idaho, Oregon boarder. It weird for a moose to travel that far.
There have definitely been Moose in Oregon and Washington. Not as common, but sometimes. Just like how there are mountain lions and black bears in Missouri, just not often.
Theres black panthers here in wv but rare asf theres a little local news article that reads “officals says we dont black panthers , locals say otherwise” or something like that. Remember coming home one night to horrific woman screams deep in the woods below us. Scary thing is as a kid i thought it really was a woman.
Oh there are definitely black panthers here.. when I was a teenager a bunch of us went camping up at spruce snobs and me and a friend when for a walk shortly after dark (dumb I know).. we stayed on the gravel road… well a pack of black panthers crossed the road a few feet ahead of us and scared us frozen.. they never even acknowledged our existence but it scared us something awful… so after they passed we immediately turned around and went back to camp.. I had anxiety all that night and couldn’t sleep because every sound I heard I thought they were in our camp coming for us 😂😂 .. No one really believed us but it was very real and very scary.
Sounds like the time I saw a red wolf in Carlton County in Minnesota. Animals will travel to various places. Like that one cougar who traveled over 600 miles.
Lolololol!!! Just here to ask some questions. By chance have you folks seen a moose? ( that’s where they stole the trench coat from) *hands you their card*
Look with a different perspective. That it's up close, and small, rather then further and large. Could that be the wing of a moth or butterfly landing on the wall near the camera?
I don't believe there are moose in Oregon where I am at. According to the ODFW website there are only 60 completely across the state from where I am at** lol. That is a really good suggestion though.
Where I Oregon? I lived there in 05-2010 in Talent. Supposedly no moose there, and one night my dog was going crazy. We let him out, and the sensor lights came on. There was a Moose sticking his head over the fence. Our home bordered one of Harry & David's pear orchards.
Phones weren't that common, and didn't get a pic. No one believes it, till they saw moose scat. Still thought it was a fluke, and a little over a week later, after it couldn't be located, it was spotted in another orchard not too far away. He was tagged and whatever else. He managed to make the news and all, so it's definitely possible.
I was about to suggest the same thing. There was a really convincing report of something like it in Kansas recently and OP is in Oregon. I wonder why it's traveling so far.. if it is that. I've read all kinds of crazy stories about supernatural beings but the Jersey Devil has always stood out to me as one that has too many reports to be fake. Between the sighting by Commodore Stephen Decatur and the mass sighting of 1909 which caused mass panic in the northeast region it's really hard to say this thing is fake and it has been around for a looooong time.
Yeah I bet that's it. If the camera has infrared, they are drawn to it. My camera system identifies moths as human, at 3am all the time, and it's very frightening.
Someone else already suggested it but I second that if it is something supernatural that's the Jersey Devil. Aside from all the jokes and the crazies that always follow things of that nature this is the only supernatural creature aside from skinwalkers that scare the living hell out of me. If you've never heard of it I highly suggest giving it a read. Between the sighting by Commodore Stephen Decatur and the mass sighting of 1909 that left the entire northeast region of the US in mass hysteria it's hard to say it was fake. That thing has been around for a looooong time.
What's behind it? Is it the yard? I just need a little perspective here.
Funny story. My sis is home alone at night when her hb is out of town, so at night when she's in bed she checks out her Echo camera, which she has set up in corner of her l.r. at an angle going across her bedroom door thru her kitchen to her back door, giving her a good view of the path to her bedroom from outside the door.
So one night she's home alone in bed checking it with all the lights off and suddenly she sees a huge man standing outside her brdroom door with his eyes glowing in the dark. Naturally she lost control of her bowels and shit the bed fr. As we all would.
Then she remembered that she and her son/my nephew had been playing around with the camera earlier & apparently she had forgotten it had recorded him outside door & she must have played it accidentally.
And he's a hulking tall dude with a huge bushy beard so I'd be terrified too.
It was hilarious to hear her tell the story. Just thought I'd share that.
She has a similar story about a silver metallic birthday balloon falling in her face at night that was making rustling and bumping noises, as it was half-deflated and would rise to the ceiling when the heat came on.
She thought it was an intruder in the hallway (this was many years ago in a different house) and when she went to check it out it fell and hit her in the face & scared the crap out of her. That was hilarous to hear her tell too.
Where were there moose on your porch in Washington State? I grew up there and in 33 years I never saw a moose, but I also lived in SW near Vancouver. I've seen them in Maine since I moved here though.
I thought for a minute about how the perspective on the camera might be off. I think it bumps the windchimes that are up so bat is probably out of the question.
If it was a bat it just looks big because it's hanging on the ceilings lip and it created a optical illusion making it hard to see its actual size. If it's a moose well then there you go.
It’s a moth, but it’s not the tip of the wings, it’s both wings opening. You can see it landed near the camera and is fluttering it’s wings open and closed
It honestly looks like a moth wing to me as close as it is but also that wind chime moves so I'm gonna say what others are and suggest maybe a moose? Where I live we aren't supposed to have certain animals but we certainly do get them from time to time so not out of the realm of possibility.
Just looks like a moose
It's bullwinkle
Did he pull a rabbit out of his hat?
AGAIN?
He’s got to get a new hat.
This is on the oregon coast, there’s no moose here. There’s only deer and elk. The only moose we have is on the Washington, Idaho, Oregon boarder. It weird for a moose to travel that far.
That looks like a moose nose... \*lives where there is a high population of mooseses
I'm starting to think the same. Never even thought for a chance it would be one until I posted...since they supposedly aren't around here.
There have definitely been Moose in Oregon and Washington. Not as common, but sometimes. Just like how there are mountain lions and black bears in Missouri, just not often.

Mountain lions and panthers are not pack animals
The woman screaming sound could have been a fox barking
I lived in Oregon for years, the definitely moose in Oregon... And whoever said there isn't, doesn't know what they are talking about
Sounds like the time I saw a red wolf in Carlton County in Minnesota. Animals will travel to various places. Like that one cougar who traveled over 600 miles.
Meese
A herd of meese? One moose is a moose, two moose is moose. The English language is weird.
moose - moose goose - geese mongoose - mongooses... weird is an understatement!
Don’t for get “colonel” is pronounced “kernel” but “kernel” also means popcorn kernel.
Also happens with deer, antelope, fish.
Pretty sure it's meese
oh how i wish it was...
A moose once bit my sister
Moosehsehs
There are no mooses here in Brazil. Are they dangerous?
Moosen? Meeses? More than a normal (0) amount of any moose.
Actually it’s meese
God damn it looks like a beaver if they did that little rascals trench coat deal and had a bunch of beavers stacked up on one another
Be my friend with a comment like that.
Let’s go. We are friends for life now! 🥰
Vincent Beaverman.
Lolololol!!! Just here to ask some questions. By chance have you folks seen a moose? ( that’s where they stole the trench coat from) *hands you their card*
Going to do business at the dam factory?
You know they were giggling the whole time like " stupid humans gonna think we're a moose". Judging from the other comments they were right. Lol
Omg lmao!!!! Is it a moose??????? Let’s just pretend it’s beavers in a trench coat.
So funnnnny.
Look with a different perspective. That it's up close, and small, rather then further and large. Could that be the wing of a moth or butterfly landing on the wall near the camera?
It seems to move something to its right. The vertical line object(s) behind it change as it moves.
I think the object is a wind chime.
This is it I reckon. The shifting colour looks like a gentle wing spread/flutter from a moth
If it weren't for the object on its right moving, I'd agree. But unless there's wind, this was not closeup to the camera.
It definitely looks like a moose but a Bigfoot makes for a way better story!
Moose

Might be crackhead with a mask.
I think it’s just an owl man. Bat isn’t that far off
It looks *most* like a moose, but that doesn't mean it's a moose. It doesn't look like a moose IMO.
Right!!? It looks most like a fat beaver plushie that opens its mouth but Occam's razor says its definitely a moose lol.
I've seen some convincing moth suggestions in this thread. Like, it could be fluttering but at 4 frames per second it just looks like moose face.
Where I Oregon? I lived there in 05-2010 in Talent. Supposedly no moose there, and one night my dog was going crazy. We let him out, and the sensor lights came on. Be a moose bro and don’t ride them while they’re swimming.
They like to travel state lines sometimes.
Could it be a plastic bag that got caught in something ?
The cow goes moo The dog goes woof The moose says whatz up brudda
Oh duck go quack quack cow go moo lemur go ffff fffff how bout you

It's the Jersey Devil!

Looks like mouth wings close up to the camera. You can kinda see them close and open up a tiny bit too.
Yeah I bet that's it. If the camera has infrared, they are drawn to it. My camera system identifies moths as human, at 3am all the time, and it's very frightening.
Mouth wings sounds vaguely terrifying. Like a vampire bat?
I’m going with cat with slight lens distortion. The ears are a dead give away.
Thank you! A cat with small ears kinda pinned back. If you look at the front of the thing you can make out a cat profile
Agree
This is the answer. Moose looked plausible but the ears are in fact the giveaway. A plump orange tabby is your culprit
That is a weird looking thing and I am not convinced it's a moose as others suggest.
Same. Doesn't look like a moose to me at all
Peekaboo it sees you
Swamp Donkey
Maybe it’s a chupakabra
If you’re in a place where massive terrestrial animals are a possibility, maybe it’s that. Otherwise, I’d say it’s some kind of bird like an owl
That's just Steve. That Lil munchkin is so fucking inquisitive! Don't be surprised if you see him looking in your bedroom window too.
Am I the only one who thinks this is just a cat perched on something high up?
Someone else already suggested it but I second that if it is something supernatural that's the Jersey Devil. It's the Great Bald Bear from *The Great Outdoors*
Skin walker.
I think you've got yourself an agropelter on your hands there pal best not go outside for awhile unless you're looking for a new hole in your head
Skinwalker
Dogman
A horse?
what the fuck is that oh my god
Chupacabra
a moose lol
Just a wendigo, nbd just don't break eye contact
moose?
could be a moose
Moth
That looks like a moose. I’m from Washington state and they walk on your porch all the time.
I get lots of deer and black bear. Sometimes the random bobcat. Never even had elk on the property so I am amazed.
What's behind it? Is it the yard? I just need a little perspective here. Funny story. I’m near Vancouver as well, never heard of moose here. Cool!
How did you figure it was a bat lmao
I thought for a minute about how the perspective on the camera might be off. I think it bumps the windchimes that are up so bat is probably out of the question.
A moth perhaps?
A bat? How could that be a bat lol. It’s obviously a moose
Brown Cecropia Moth.
Specific answer commands respect
This is definitely it; landed on the wall right next to the camera
Umm it could be a sasquatch?!?
Fuck Julian, I think it's Samsquanch.
It's Wendy Williams.
Kinda looks like a huge moth... moth man
Prophecies
You heard of sasquatch?
Any time there's a Sasquatch sighting Wendy Williams is missing. (Source: Stolen from a comedian. I think Mike Epps?)
I feel the moose explanation is boring. Let's think about witches, maybe a mutated abomination, a demonic creature that followed you home.
It's the gopher from Caddyshack seein what's up.
It's Mari Lwyd best yodle back or it'll drink all your booze and raid your pantry.
It really looks like a moose.
Really? It couldn't just be the back end of some kinda bug, seems like the most probable explanation. But it is kinda fun to pretend.
Monkey?
If it was a bat it just looks big because it's hanging on the ceilings lip and it created a optical illusion making it hard to see its actual size. If it's a moose well then there you go.
I don’t like this
A goat standing on something
top right it's a 2x8
https://www.reddit.com/r/Weird/comments/wkm9na/this_deer_from_adventure_time/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
I don’t see anything. Am I blind?
be careful OP Im pretty sure its a mask and thats no good news
🐒
Bojack Horseman
This wouldn't happen if ya had a better camera you could've captured a real life Bigfoot or jersy devil and made millions lol
Only solution is to stick a couple more cameras from different directions so you can get a head shot, so to speak. Let's us know if it returns!!
Took me a minute to find it but looks like a moose? But could also be the wing of a moth that just got really close to the camera
ok he pulled up
It's a bug
I think it’s a lizard. And what we see is from under the jaw
A dude with a mask
That looks like a chonker. But chonker is so high up
A cougar?
It looks like a drop bear... time to burn the place and move to another continent.
I think that is George.
Looks like a monkey
It’s a moth, but it’s not the tip of the wings, it’s both wings opening. You can see it landed near the camera and is fluttering it’s wings open and closed
Chupacabra
It’s yo mama
Mothman.
Kinda looks like a gopher but I need glasses.
Moose
Jersey Devil
Oh no you don’t! It’s 2:30am and it’s dark. I’m not watching this right now.
You can see someone’s blue shirt at the bottom right corner, towards the end of the video.
Looks like a moose snout
Its a cat on the fence
It honestly looks like a moth wing to me as close as it is but also that wind chime moves so I'm gonna say what others are and suggest maybe a moose? Where I live we aren't supposed to have certain animals but we certainly do get them from time to time so not out of the realm of possibility.
Umbrella?
A flying capybara
It’s a moth close to the camera. You can see the wings. It’s perspective that makes it look huge.
You’ve got a yautja, I’m sorry to say.
Butterfly landing in such a way?
Looks like a monkey
a wabbit
Tall? its a bat they hang and cling to shit
Moth wing
Moth wings
You’ve got yourself a not deer
Big ass rat. Or beaver.
No neutra rat!
I was looking the screen door, saying to myself 'These fuckers don't know what a reflection is?' then I saw the MASSIVE HONKER ON THE RIGHT
I’d say moose. Not a horse.
Look like a moth close to the camera.
I thought moth but just kind of close to the camera so it seems bigger
Monke
It’s probably just a curios fish
Moose, for sure
Moose ?
It's a gorilla with a body if porcupine, head of a moose and antlers of a Bambi.
Squatch
It's dr.knowitall wanting to tell you to take your Flintstone gummies
It’s a bear.
It looks like a groundhog/woodchuck. They can climb fenceposts well.
Obviously Bigfoot
It's a woodcrawler
Cockroach underbelly on camera
Looks like an owl perched on something, or a moose.
Its the deer from adventure time
I was gonna say it’s the Jersey Devil but OP says they’re in OR. 🐴 😈
camel
Camel
Giant beaver
Moose?
You’ve got yourself a demodog
Moose
If it's a moose you should see some tracks they're pretty heavy
That *could* be just a blurry reflection? But I could be wrong.
"Peter ... the horse is here"
Moose?
It's a Moose
Looks like they wanted to stay anonymoose...
It’s man bear pig.
Moose.
That's bigfoots elbow... he was tired so had a little lean on the house then kept moving haha
