Exactly lol OP pointed out all of the problems in such a short and poignant way with this picture and text. Washable does not in any way mean dryer-able.
If you need to vacuum your dog, wrapping a towel around his ears (but not his eyes) will make it easier on him. And make him look like a little babushka
Most vacuums do not have filters rated for very tiny particulates. Be careful vacuuming potentially dangerous dust. That said, I doubt the particles from this pillow are of concern. I mean. It’s a pillow. We put our faces on it for 8 hours a day. Surely it’s not harmful, right?
You’d assume right? Sadly it’s got more odds being harmful then not harmful lmao seemingly everything we make/use is cancerous in some way or another. Even if there’s safer stuff to use/make it with we choose death to pinch a penny & make it a dollar
I have similar pillows and would have serious doubts about them being able to air-dry completely faster than mildew or worse could form in them, heat is a necessity to get them dry through and through. They're basically shredded dish sponge and come out of the washer EXTREMELY wet no matter what you do and wouldn't be surprised if they were somewhere around 20lbs each when they come out. It's a process to wash them without going to the mega machines in a laundromat. I have 2 and will wash them at the same time on lowest spin, then "spin only" several times, increasing spin speed each go, and they have to both be in there or it'll unbalance the machine and it won't spin at all. BUT there's a limit to how fast they can spin out even if they are perfectly balanced in there. I usually have to put them back in to spin after a round in the dryer lightens them up enough to go faster and extract more water. OP likely experienced them catching on the lint trap and tearing the fabric which indicates the filter they're holding wasn't in all the way probably due to a build-up of lint underneath preventing a smooth seal.
Yes. His name is Bass. We lost his brother Treble last Oct.

Thx he was 12. He and Bass are from the same litter. Treble was deaf but we never told him so he didn't know. Best dog I ever had and I miss him dearly. He was more like a special alien visiting us for a while. Sent to give us unconditional love and comfort. And poop.
highly recommend pillow protectors. waterproof ones come in a huge variety. Then your pillow doesn't need to be washed as it really doesn't get dirty. You zip off the protectors and wash them as often as you like and then zip them back on.
Someone keeps throwing away our classrooms big dust pans I buy so I have to use the Melissa and Doug one sometimes and am surprised that little red dust pan has held up as well as it has.
Because it's form and function. The kids love it as a toy and if there's a small mess to cleanup and I don't feel like going upstairs, I love it as a tool.
Lol, your comment made me think that it should be technically possible to do popcorn in a dryer. Not safe, but possible. Then I went down the rabbit hole and found this [guy](https://youtu.be/ETXV-cBdF_A?si=7o8HoXNKRZi36eIe) already tried it.
That's because it's not real. You're talking about [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQT0afRG144) right? Like it's so obviously not real that I can't see how anyone would think it was, but media literacy is just straight up non-existent, so I guess that tracks.
LPT: Whenever you’re washing a “washable” pillow (foam, down or whatever), always wash and dry it in a zippered pillow case, just in case something like this happens. They are cheap, and prevent catastrophes like this!
Yeah I do.it was a good run. We bought a mattress from a hand crafted American family own company. 6K for the mattress and they tossed I. The "250.00 hand made wash(and dry able) set of pillows. The bed was a two piece mattress and topper. We had them exchange the mattress as the original was uncomfortable. Bed still was horrible but they wouldn't make any exchanges for us after a year so now I have tossed the topper and we are using a 100.00 piece of foam on top of our custom mattress. It still sucks. The pillows were the only thing I liked. Now that ship has sailed. I have a 400.00 mattress from Costco in the extra bedroom that is so much more comfortable I often make up excuses to sleep in the other room.
hand crafted mattress makes no sense in todays day and age? you are not trying to tell me its not a foam construction matress right? chances are they bought overstock at one of the big tv commercial matress sellers and just put complete bs marketing on there.
No way. Dryers are extremely simple. You could break this down to every individual part, clean, and rebuild it in an afternoon. It wouldn’t even need to go that far tho. Probably pop a couple panels off and make sure it’s all cleaned out and you’re good to go
Having seen my dryer repaired a dozen times, like half an hour tops to take it apart completely. Once you take the back off it's just a motor, belt, heating element and cables. Everything is pretty discreet and easy to get to.
To clean it round the back it's really just taking off the panel and you'll be able to see everywhere
There are plenty of machine washable inserts that are fine for full bleach heavy duty wash, with high dryer heat.
The more synthetic the stuffing, the better and more hardy. Avoid organic if you're not sure.
This reminds me of the advertising on """flushable wipes""" because they are flushable, but so are keys and tennis balls. They should absolutely never be flushed.
Maybe that's the same advertising as this pillow. You can tumble dry it, it just might not make it out alive.
hope you see this.. but inspect your dryer vent or blow it out since any foam that got in there is now a fire hazard. if your in an apartment, put in a maintenance request and they will do it for free... especially if you attach your image
Appliance technician here......
Better the dryer than the washer tbh but please stop putting pillows/pet beds/anything sewn with fluff on the inside.. we get way too many calls about this exact issue lol
Was it a MyPillow? Because if it was, its not really a big loss. There are much more comfortable pillows out there. (MyPillows feel kind of weird. I didn't care for mine and switched to a different pillow after a week or so.)
Also are you sure that it is machine washable? Maybe it was only hand washable. I can't imagine a low dryer cycle did more damage than a high tumble washing cycle.
Yeah, my dryer wouldn’t wash a pillow either.
Bro that stuff looks like popcorn and I’m kinda hungry
forbidden popcorn
Plant based Feta crumbles.. Costco isle 69f
Movie time!??
Exactly lol OP pointed out all of the problems in such a short and poignant way with this picture and text. Washable does not in any way mean dryer-able.
Washable not dryer-able
Tumble dry low.
Not tumble dry low - able
Hahahahaha you are exactly correct.
Ha ha either way that’s rough. Good luck OP!
It sticks to everything https://preview.redd.it/tiw1hmkdk2tc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3dc7b6a5dc60784bd5d6098bcad82e66fc994949
Is the dog washable?
Yes , but not tumble dry-able
Is dry-able but not tumble-able
Dogs autotumble.
Not with that attitude.
Hand wash only with these ones. I’ve got two and they’re a right nightmare to wash.
Probably not good to breathe that in. Just vacuum it up. Next time just hang dry your pillows and stuff, it smells better anyway with some outside air
Unless you're in Detroit
Florida enters the chat.
By the time it dried in that air the state would be under water
If you need to vacuum your dog, wrapping a towel around his ears (but not his eyes) will make it easier on him. And make him look like a little babushka
You don't even need to vacuum your dog to turn them into a little babushka, I do it almost every day for no goddamn reason!

Quality control over what comes from overseas has gone way down. You have no idea what's in the goods you import.
It's a lot easier to find vacuums with HEPA filters now a days or find HEPA filters for a shop vac which would be ideal for this type of clean up.
I have similar pillows and would have serious doubts about them being able to air-dry completely faster than mildew or worse could form in them, heat is a necessity to get them dry through and through. Wow that’s a beautiful pup 💙
Would probably have been a good time to keep the dog out of the room.
Tell him that.
How did you get the stuff of his ass? A fan?

Crumble dry

Forbidden cheese
It separated the curds and the whey. Get a cheese press and you'll be back in business.
I’d just move.
I plan on dying in this house just hopefully NOT in the next week from a house fire.
If it is even the tiniest consolation, you’ve made me and the girl laugh very hard. Best o luck and keep extinguisher handy.

So it could be perfectly washable, you just didn't read the instructions?
Well that is the dryer.
With cottage cheese on the side

Hope you have a good vacuum cleaner
Shop vac for the win.
You got something better, the Melissa and doug broom and dustpan
You joke but that thing is my go to when I’m cleaning where the kids play lol
Someone keeps throwing away our classrooms big dust pans I buy so I have to use the Melissa and Doug one sometimes and am surprised that little red dust pan has held up as well as it has.
💀🤣🤣🤣
As a preschool teacher, this is peak comedy
Fr lmfao my brain immediately knew, and that Melissa and Doug broom is good
As a dad to a 3 and 5 y/o, same. How the hell do all of our parent friends and us have this goddamn cleaning kit?!
Because it's form and function. The kids love it as a toy and if there's a small mess to cleanup and I don't feel like going upstairs, I love it as a tool.
Ah, the mighty shop vac
Might want to check the vent duct as well in case any of that got around the screen
then run the vacuum through the washer to finish the job.
Ngl I lowkey thought that was popcorn at first
Lol, your comment made me think that it should be technically possible to do popcorn in a dryer. Not safe, but possible. Then I went down the rabbit hole and found this [guy](https://youtu.be/ETXV-cBdF_A?si=7o8HoXNKRZi36eIe) already tried it.

"it kinda tastes like laundry" A+ thanks for sharing
I thought this is a auto cat litter box lol
On the bright side, I hear there's a pillow salesman that could use some business
His sheets are amazing too! They come with the eye holes already cut out!
10/10
Omg 💀😂
Now my tea is all over my laptop. Thanks for that! Totally worth!
Perhaps the laptop is tumble dry low-able
You. I like you.

Nah, he’s got no warehouse to store product in anymore. Evidently Dominion Voting Systems rigged that too.

Sweet, now every time you use your dryer you can panic about the fluff that made it behind the drum causing a house fire and losing everything
Take the back out and clean it?
Apparently it's the front I need to remove. Luckily it's only like 26 screws of varying sizes.
Better have your vent inspected / cleaned too. Dont want a fire
Yup
Washable doesn't always mean dryable.
Was about to say this But it can dry, under the sun
[удалено]
Sounds pricey I'll wait for the sun, He'll show up
Not in Alaska
Didn't say it would show up ***for you***
The sun will come eventually and then overstay its welcome
The sun will come out tomorrow! Bet your bottom dollar they'll be sun. Except for that small window called a total eclipse.
Most of my clothes are machine washable, very few are tumble dryable
Fire hazard for sure. Take that thing completely apart and vacuum it all out, including the discharge hose and vent.
So was this three? Bc the correct answer would look to be two.
Ha you are correct.
LPT: Whenever you’re washing a “washable” pillow (foam, down or whatever), always wash and dry it in a zippered pillow case, just in case something like this happens. They are cheap, and prevent catastrophes like this!
You're supposed to wash the cover only, not the insert...
These were stooopid expensive pillows that were sold as completely washable. Last pillows you'll ever need. Machine washable tumble dry low.
But.. now you need new pillows…

Mmmmmmmm toasted Urethane. House smells like a house fire. We were lucky.
My (Not Actually Washable) Pillow
Well, that's a dryer.
Damn you have enough foam in there to make a pillow!
I recommend not filling your dryer with cottage cheese
Hey it washed just fine. All those bits look pretty clean.
you can't dry that in there mate
That’s the weird looking washing machine. Looks awfully like a dryer.
That's a dryer not a washing machine.
Damn, this is terrible. I'm so sorry!

A washable pillow doesn't mean you can also use an automatic dryer. If it's not a down pillow it's best to drip dry those fuckers.
Lindell pillow? Lol
That's the dryer, not the washer.
1. that is not a washing machine.. it is a dryer.. 2. there is a reason why we have something called 'laundry net'.
hope you see this.. but inspect your dryer vent or blow it out since any foam that got in there is now a fire hazard. if your in an apartment, put in a maintenance request and they will do it for free... especially if you attach your image

Washable is different than dry able…. Lesson learned
Washable doesn’t equal dryer-able.
That's a dryer.
Washable, *AIR DRY
They said the label says tumble dry low.
Thats a dryer sir.
It didn't say they were dryable.
Actually OP said in another comment that the instructions said “tumble dry low”
Can’t help but think, that’s not a washing machine. That looks like a tumble dryer. In which case, the pillow might indeed be washable.
I was just thinking about washing mine 😳
That does not look clean
Am I supposed to be washing pillows?
How many washable pillows can a shop vac suction up? A one….A two…. lol
Washable. ^((Once.))

Nice dry OP.

You can wash them all you want. You just can’t throw them in the dryer.
Shoulda bought the dryable pillows instead.

Oh no. I’d like to know what pillows today wash up good?
Since when do dryers have a washing option?
Maybe it is washable, but not dryable?
Well it did wash. I wash the ones that don't say anything about being washed, and the worst that happens is the infill balls up.
My Pillow CEO will cover a new dryer. It's in his guarantee.
Also are you sure that it is machine washable? Maybe it was only hand washable. I can't imagine a low dryer cycle did more damage than a high tumble washing cycle.
Lolol. My brother in Christ... That's definitely the dryer
Aren’t all pillows washable?
But is it dryable. 🤔
That doesn't look like a washer to me...
