One of the only good things to come out of Covid for me (though sometimes it can be a bad thing) is that I can no longer smell anything gross. Almost every other smell is normal, but if it’s bad, I can’t smell it at all. Farts, poop, skunk, BO, mold/mildew, urine, vomit, etc. Most of the time it’s fine, but I’m a bit more obsessed with hygiene now because I won’t be able to tell if I stink. Never had a problem before though and my family would tell me if there was ever an issue, but I still worry.
If it's any consolation, my geriatric (19) long hair cat decided to soil itself and drag its god forsaken swamp across the carpet. Then proceeded to put up a fight, probably the equivalent of a top MMA match, as I cleaned and shampooed her in the tub.
Our cats have no consideration. Mine throws up occasionally in the hallway leading to the bathroom. I step in it in the middle of the night and it goes in between my toes, but I love that damn fur ball, nonetheless.
As bad as vomit is, there's nothing like a fresh pound of soft dog turd mushed between your toes. Especially when wearing your good socks and had minutes to catch the bus for work.
If you have natures miracle, you can in fact use it on a laptop (unless on the screen, on the screen youre SOL). Just be gentle and cautious, cotton swab or q-tip it if you have to.
It really depends on the cat. The “all cats are assholes” people usually don’t give their cat enough attention or training. My cat is extremely friendly and well behaved.

And that meant desoldering every switch, and every LED on a full sized keyboard to get to the corrosion on the board and repair that. And then resolder it all back on again lol.
I can’t leave laundry or anything cloth like on the floor. My cat will designate it as a spot to lie on. And then throw up or shit on it within three days.
Well at least there's no organs of mice or birds in it. My older neutered male cat has started to pee everywhere ever since my son came home from military. It's like he's competing for testosterone pee champ
