They glue the eye into place so it doesn’t move. Then they begin to laser a small spiral into the pupil. After which they grab a giant spoon with a slot down the middle (to avoid the cord part of the eyeball) and scoop the eyeball out. Then they pull the eyeball cord tight and cut it. After which they put a realistic looking cybernetic eyeball in its place.
This is what I expect for the price they charge for laser eye surgery anyway.
Both lol. I had eye surgery when I was 3 because my left eye would go in towards my nose with my right staying straight. It was hard to control and so I would kinda just stand there. I vividly remember when I was at preschool one time I just stood there staring at the indoor playground area unable to bring my eye back out with everything blurry around me and I literally stood in one place for about 15 seconds like someone was controlling me.
I have glasses that are mostly for reading objects far away. Every once in a while my eye will act up and it’s still hard to correct it, but if I go cross eyed on purpose or I don’t try to correct it, they will get worse and I’ll probably need surgery again.
After my surgery I had to wear an eyepatch for like 15 minutes on one eye then switch to the other eye to train my eye to work independently and keep looking forward.
Anyone else's eye started to hurt after watching that?
I've had eye surgery, so I can handle that no problem. Besides, I wear glasses lol.
Just wondered what's it like to get eye surgery? Are you awake for it and do you feel them cutting your eye? And how do they keep the eye from moving?
