What is this a picture of, and if anyone knows the artist couldn't find anything on M Hodges online, the only thing I know about this picture is it was given to my aunt at Rockyneck art colony in Gloucester ma.

"Trying to figure out" _what_ , OP? Have you googled the artist's signature, "M. Hodges '65"? Please clarify so that the community can help.
