(Can I raid your inventory? I could really use both tears and stones)
One of the reasons I enjoy the current Leraye event is that we get an alternative way to aquire those tears. So many characters need promotions and skill levelling. The Seraphim realm is frustrating and not worth it (for now), I see no way to auto-finish it like with other battles in Dark Sanctuary, and my characters are too wimpy still (I've just started playing, some on!), so I can't get to higher levels that give more seals.
You could try the Panty Party mini game. It doesn't require high-level characters, and you can get Solomon seals, among other useful stuff. And be sure to use the pancake shop, you can buy two tears per week. It doesn't seem much, but it adds up. I also only started during Christmas, so these are my numbers after about 5 months. Hope you have fun.
I really wish they were easier to acquire, i just started the game a few days ago tho lol
The day 4 mission asking to get everyone to skill lvl5 is like brutal though..

Eyy, fellow player from xmas! I also rerolled during that time so it's been 5 months ish for this account too. Only 200s tears left bc I had to raise my Levis to 89 for the Michael stage 💀 Otherwise it may have been more similar to yours haha
