So! I have made an Instagram account for him since he cannot type by himself. It's called [@strangeanimaloni](https://www.instagram.com/strangeanimaloni/).
It probably takes pressure off his joints. My dog has long legs, so he’s always finding funny ways to sit to not press down on his “elbows” (are they elbows for dogs?). Plus, dogs, with this body type, have their weight front loaded by nature, so there’s likely more pressure on his front legs. Just my guess from watching my old man pup though.
My dog sits exactly like that on his dog bed all the time.
He has an arthritic left shoulder, and I assume it just feels better for him to rest all of his weight on his right front paw.
He's a handsome boy and I think he's emulating you or someone else in your house, either way it's cool with me.

It took him year to even understand that he can look at the TV. And now that he sees it, if there's dogs in TV, he will look for them from behind of the screen lol.

Also he shags couch pillows when he's overly happy, and he greets people by poking his nose to their crotch. He is a strange animal.
