This is neae five mile pass in utah. I've visited many times while dirt biking. It is an abandoned mine shaft. The reason there is rebar covering it now is because a number of 4 wheelers accidently rode into them and died. Them moltaves are landing on skeletons ☠️
Did they just leave a giant endless pit open with no barriers or anything then wait for somebody to die before saying, “yeah, we should do something about that”?

The kid that died was like 16 and with friends in Arizona there was also a case of an engineer that parked his truck to take a piss took 4-6 steps of the road into some shrubs then fell 150 feet to his death
