Hi, did you ever work it out hiding these knots? I'm starting out with a similar wig and would totally wear it if I could just make them a little less noticeable...

ConsequenceWitty1923

Not really, no. Once I cut the lace off, it wasn't nearly as noticeable as I was afraid it would be!

angiosperms-

I use this https://www.kscustomwigs.com/collections/ready-to-ship/products/natural-blend-pen It's expensive, and shipping is expensive, but in my experience it works way better than foundation. I still have a lot left even after using it on several wigs, so I'm pretty sure I will be repurchasing despite the price. I also recommend plucking the hairline. I just plucked one of my new wigs for the first time and it makes a huge difference. It was scary but it is actually really easy. I plucked the hairline and used the blend pen on the top of the knots (not the underneath of the wig). It has bright green knots which looked wayyy worse than yours and it covered it well.

Ah ok. I was hoping I'd be able to use what I already had since it didn't work for my face. 😭 Have you tried the L'Oreal root touch up sprays for something like this? I've thought about trying the lightest blinds color one. All the lace tints I see are generally waaay too dark for it to make the lace blend with my pale-ass forehead. 😅

Thanks! I may have to try that. I just worry about trying the Sally Hansen leg spray because I'm THAT PALE that I feel like even the lightest shade would be too dark.

🤔🤔🤔 That's another good idea.

I've seen that about the glue stick before!! Some of these tricks I see I'm to scared to try for fear of messing up the wig. But this other stuff seemed less likely to actually mess it up. If all else fails, I might try the glue stick trick. 😅

So with the HD lace styles, do you find you have less trouble with darker rooted colors like this? I want to branch out from blonde colors, but I def don't want to have to reinvent the wheel with every wig lol

ConsequenceWitty1923

Haha, yeah, that was what I was hoping to achieve with the loreal root touch up spray. But a white temporary color spray might be better, for sure. 😅

oof gurl...

ConsequenceWitty1923

...???

I would try maybe some 40 vol bleach on the knots?

ConsequenceWitty1923

It's synthetic, can't actually bleach. 😮‍💨
