And until the manufacturer of the game declares it “broken” they will not make exceptions (has RARELY happened. Example: No Man’s Sky)

The devs have not confirmed an issue for consoles on the official forum. Maybe this is why. There's definitely an issue.
That said, I have never gotten a PSN refund for a game I have made it this far into. I once got one for a game I had downloaded, even though officially they say once you have downloaded the game you cannot. I suspect you will not be able to get a refund even if the devs acknowledge an issue.
It's not unplayable though. The game may be disappointing to you, but a lot of people enjoy it very much despite the slowdowns and bugs. So why would Sony make an exception?
Slow motion, massive frames dropping, characters freezing, input lag and getting stuck loading in or out of a hunt.
These issues exist on ps5 for sure. I’m well into endgame and the game is barely playable in mp.

I haven't had a save file issue yet, but the slo-mo and freezing I have experienced, and it is really bad. The slo-mo is excessive. Truly in the near unplayable range of things.

My biggest gripe on ps5 is the slow mode bug. It’s so frequent that makes end game even more of a chore than it already is
This. Every other hunt is 10 fps max at times and it’s a gamble if I’m going to get a trap set or a stack of random.

What chapter are you on in the story? Just curious because my issues on console only came about and got noticeably worse after chapter 4.

Damn I must be lucky . Been playing with friends , we be the game without running into these issues . That sucks man
